We loved how they kept us informed every step of the way. How they helped push things thru with Xcel and get everything turned on and started. They did a wonderful job when they came and installed the panels. They were so nice and friendly. They let us know when they showed up and when they were leaving. They worked really hard and long hours to get the panels installed. They went above and beyond. We really appreciated them.

Tony and Kevin did a really good job of the installation considering the road blocks they faced. SOCO needs to do better job with project management to have all materials ready either in shop or jobsite. This generator was delivered in summer of 23 and not completed until 2/24. These areas need to be improved on.

It has been just over 9 months and we still aren't on. Also I was very clear about where panels could not be installed. Guess where we have panels installed!! Now my son or tradesmen have a much more precarious route to take to access our swamp cooler and removing one of the panels requires two people because you can't stand in front of it to lift.
Everyone has been very friendly it's just been a bit frustrating.

I loved the process of getting solar on my house, the only thing was their time frames were to optimistic. I did not mind the wait but tell me a more accurate time frame, I did not like waiting for 2 or 3 weeks after the time the told me a certain step would be completed. I recently wrote a review about the service I received from SOCO solar. I was able to resolve the issues with them and they refunded a large portion of my electrical bill back to me. The solar has been working great , for several months now, it has been nice not to pay those huge electricity bills.

Communication was not good. I had to reach out every 6 weeks to keep the project moving. It took almost a full year from the day SOCO approached us to completion, when we were told 2-4 months. The WiFi capability for monitoring the panels was not possible, so now I am reliant on SOCO to monitor the panels, and reach out to me when there are issues (see first sentence). I HOPE communication will be much better in the future.

We were one of their first solar customers in September 2022 in Grand Junction. We just had a new roof installed in coordination with SOCO. We had a few issues with the installation crew and inspections with Mesa County. It also took almost 5 months for Excel to complete their final step. As a result, we've had our system up and running for 9 months and we're very happy. Our system looks and works great! We highly recommend Eric and his team because they had integrity when times were tough starting a business in GJ.

I am still getting a bill and we are almost on the longest day of the year. Was not promised what you said when we got solar installed. It took about 4 months from start to finish before we got service. Not sure if the solar system is functioning to its fullest. Was told that in the summer I should not be getting a bill from. my provider and I have been getting one since the service was installed.

I loved that each step was explained in a quay that l understood! I did not love how long it took to get up and running. I also have a problem with the where the panels were installed. I was clear about the rout used to access our swamp cooler. Panels were put directly where I asked that they not be.
Now a more treacherous route must be used. All in all I'm happy with the communication throughout the process.

Installation of panels was quick and efficient. Generator was slow arriving and installed where gas wouldn't work and had to be moved. Signed contract on 2/7/2023 and it is now 4 months and system is still not up and running. Not very happy with service. Solar bank is not building up for next year. Costing me money because we are still not charging.
Well it's now June 29 and I am still not up and running as of this writing.

The SOCO Solar salesman “Expert” from Grand Junction walked through our 2 week old grass that I spent countless hours and thousands of dollars to plant. I can tell in the video from my security cameras he knew what he did however he didn’t care and continued on about his business being lazy. I do plan to put solar on my new home very soon. However I would be skeptical to use them and afraid they will continue to be careless and probably end up installing the “Solar Wrong” and burning my house down from being lazy and incompetent.

I would definitely use another company. They don't tell the truth on the gov't programs, take 3 times longer to install then they say, blame it on inspectors who failed the installation 3 times and then they promised to pay 3 months of my electric bill because it took so long to install and I never saw a penny of it. Also the $8,000 I was to get back in rebates I never got because I am retired and didn't make enough to pay taxes.

Overall, my system is fine and running. The biggest thing, is that I was told that my 12 months no payments started when my system was turned on. It took them 8 months to get it complete and turned on. Now I find out, my 12 months no payments started when it was funded, so now that is up next month. I am not happy.
