After interviewing many solar companies, I selected Greenlink for its professionalism in presentation. All my questions were answered quickly and honestly. The paperwork was handled in a most professional manner and all the rebates and refunds projections were accurate. Installation was scheduled around personal appointments and completed in one day by a team of installers, each with an individual specialty. Have had the installation for one year now. Have experienced absolutely no issues and the system has performed flawlessly. I very highly recommend Greeklink Solar Solutions as the company to go to for a solar installation. I have recommended Greeklink to neighbors and friends knowing the professionalism of the company. This company understands the importance of knowledge, timely responsiveness and good customer service. From sales to installation they were there to answer my MANY questions for our fairly large solar/battery project. Our house is a 1947 cape and we worked with their crew to install 36 solar panels, inverter, ATS and two large batteries with nothing visible from the front of the house. We also engaged them for some HVAC and insulation work and I cannot recommend Greenlink enough. This is a top notch company and group of people!

We were very satisfied with every aspect of Greenlink's service for our rooftop solar panel project. The salesperson was very informative and quick to respond by email without being pushy. The project coordinator and all the project team members were professional and polite. They answered all our questions about the system. They came back quickly (within a week) to fix minor issues that were identified by the City inspector after the installation. The panels were fully operational a little over 3 months after contract signing, which was in line with the timing we expected. We recommend Greenlink Solar without reservation.

After calling a dozen other companies I got discouraged about solar. All the other salesman from other companies talked like used car salesman and didn't seem trustworthy. The owner Austin and salesman Jeremy both came out after I got referred to Greenlink through a mutual friend. They were great to talk to, understood what I wanted to do and seemed eager to help me. After some back and forth with different design options we settled on a price and design. All the necessary paperwork was very transparent and they were honest with timeframes. The install went very smooth. The crews that came to my house were very friendly and helpful with my constant questions. They stayed late trying to get it done so that it didn't spill into another day. Not a single person I have dealt with at Greenlink has ever been rude or condescending. From the office staff to the installation team everyone was a pleasure to work with. They are quick to answer my calls, emails and texts. My system is working great and I am 100% sure I hired the best company for the job. I would greatly recommend this company.

They gave me a system with both ground mounted and roof mounted solar panels. Everyone made the extra effort to make sure we got just what we wanted. The post installment follow up has been great.

Very clear communicators. Very good teamwork, with a whole team working on the ground aspects of our solar panel install, and a separate team working on the roof of the house the whole time. Everything was done in a day and it all works perfectly. The office team is always available to answer questions about tax credits and all the complicated state and regulatory paperwork; they actually DO all the paperwork on their end and then just send it to us for e-signing. Easy Peasy!

We had Greenlink spray foam our basement. This was the first step of all the recommendations in our assessment. The two men who came to do the work were professional, kind, and personable. They taped off all of our walls and there was very little residual work mess to be found anywhere. We’ve noticed about a 10% drop in our gas bill from the previous month even though this month was colder. The furnace has been running less, so we’ve seen a reduced electric bill too. More importantly, the house is more comfortable and there are fewer bugs in the basement.

It took me over a year to educate myself on going solar and go through a bunch of offers/quotes, including one recommended by my neighbor. The payback period was roughly 7-9 years for me, until I found Greenlink through Google search. I gave them a call out of excellent reviews of their happy customers. A few quick and informative email exchanges with Tom, the technician, clears up all my key questions. We reached an agreement about the size, panel product, warranties, and cost and moved on to a site visit and a final consultation meeting. They gave me a warranty of getting the state SREC incentives, which, together with the 30% federal tax credits, presented to me an excellent system with quality REC panels and Enphase inverters that pays back itself in five years. I decided to pull the trigger right there. The system was up in a month, with a smooth and clean installation process. I have been a happy customer since day one and even happier after the system has been running worry free and robustly for over half a year. I completely offset my grid electric dependence and still have a lot to spare coming out of a winter in Chicago! I am looking forward to a lot of more productive years from this system. Now with an EV, I am looking at paying back the system in about 3 -4 years. I am very glad that I went solar with Greenlink. My family is almost energy independent now and for many years to come. Go green, and go with Greenlink!

I hired Greenlink to come evaluate my attic space for air sealing and insulation. They explained everything, including the science behind different aspects of efficiency and provided an estimate that was reasonable. I gave them the job and they did fantastic work, including air sealing and insulation in places I didn't think anyone could reach (whoever got into there is a wizard!) I was especially impressed by the things they did on the job that are important, but I didn't know were important until after the job was complete. These things include panels attached to the underside of the roof that ensure airflow in the attic and a box built around the scuttle to allow the full height of insulation to be blown in without it covering the hatch. The last time I saw insulation blown in, neither of these techniques were used and it's easy to see that Greenlink goes the full length to get the job done right. I would use them again and again. I created the above review for home efficiency upgrades that Greenlink performed, and then I went ahead and used them again to install solar on my home so I'll just add a little bit more here. My experience with Greenlink solar went as well as the efficiency improvements - they communicated great, they handled all aspects of the design, install, and paperwork, and they were able to SHOW ME how they came to conclusions on energy production. Once again, super happy I went with Greenlink for solar.

I've seen several reviews mentioning their experience with other installers akin to working with a used car salesman while Greenlink was nothing like that. I cannot emphasize enough how true this is, the process started with my mother doing research for her home, a not particularly tech savvy woman in her sixties. I heard complaint after complaint from her about these fast talking, pushy sales people and how insanely expensive their systems were. Then she met Tom, and her praise led me to reach out an get a quote for my home to. In the end we got both systems installed for the same price others were quoting us for just the one and their entire staff was ready to help us every step of the way. They handle everything for you if you let them, coordinating with the bank to get a loan, filing for state rebates (IL Shines), even going over past electric bills to make sure they weren't selling us a system bigger than we needed. Hands down one of the best experiences I have had in purchasing anything really. The best part of it all though is their amazing staff, we had constant communication with several different people in different departments helping with whatever question we had, even more astounding is the fact that the communication is still open months after completing the install. One of their agents reached out immediately after a major snowstorm hit, with no prompting from us, to warn us of the warning messages we were likely to see from the system about it being non-functional, but not to worry that was just the snow covering the panels. All in all 11/10 absolutely fantastic experience.

I reviewed and had meeting with about 20 or 25 solar companies before I contracted with Green Link. I did my homework and knew what I wanted. Tom A came and listen to me and came up with a plan that suited me...seems other companies proposed what suited them. Green Link completed all the Illinois shines and other paperwork and helped my on paperwork I needed to do, super supportive. They monitor my system and have answered all my questions and concerns. The guys and gals that came out for the Install were very professional, worked with my schedule. I'm a night shifter so 7 am wake ups are hard..lol. At the end of the day I know I made the right choice and I have already recommended Green Links to friends and neighbors!!
