We've had our panels for about a year now and it's been really great during this summer when pg&e had power safety shut downs. That being said, during last winter we had several cloudy days then no power and did not have enough battery power for the house. We've never paid for anything but our monthly bill and have saved about 50% off our regular pg&e bill.

Was great at first before I signed now I can’t get a response back I’m currently paying more because I now have a Edison and sun run bill was promised that I will be paying less and now I’m paying more still haven’t got my rebate that was promised that’s where I’m at as of today Christopher was urging me to put in a review as soon as the system was installed and this is why I always wait to review people thank god I did hope others learn from my experience

The support Company, Trinity Solar/Roofing, was easy to work with and their work was satisfactory. The sales and support staff were friendly, professional and all questions were answered. The work was performed in a timely matter and communication was maintained throughout the installation process. I am awaiting answers on monitoring the Tesla Power Wall as one battery is not reporting to the app. can be monitored via the web on the Sunnov client site.

The worst company looks like a fake company the phone number is out of service the email is rejecting no way to hold anyone I recommend people before you sign to be sure if this company is exist or legit I signed a long term contract with company now more than 2 months unable to hold someone my power bill is $600 plus $100 paying for solar The solar is not generating any power at all My highest bill use to $300 before

Payment options
Sunrun offers a variety of flexible financing options, including solar lease, power purchase agreements (PPAs), prepayment, outright purchase, and solar loan.
Sunnova offers its EZ Own option, allowing homeowners the opportunity to purchase a solar system with no upfront costs and the ability to pay a fixed amount throughout a 25-year term. Sunnova also offers its EZ Pay PPA. However, it is worth noting that Sunnova doesn’t offer a buyout option for leases.
Equipment
Sunrun offers customizable solar energy systems through its Automated Site Modeling design technology. With this technology, the Sunrun team can quickly design custom solar energy systems from satellite imagery of your home’s roof.
Sunnova also offers customizable solar energy system options that will be tailored to your home and your specific needs.
Installations
Both Sunrun and Sunnova will send a solar expert to conduct an extensive review of your home and roof, allowing them to build a custom solar energy system based on your specific needs. In most cases, both companies will also handle all permits and inspections, ensuring that your home is prepped for solar and that you won’t experience any difficulties or delays in the installation process.
Sunrun offers a mobile app through which you can track the installation process. At this time, Sunnova doesn’t offer a mobile app.
Warranties
Both Sunrun and Sunnova offer a 25-year product warranty.However, it is important to note that Sunrun provides a 10-year warranty for products that are purchased, and a 25-year warranty for products that are leased.
Battery Storage
Sunrun uses a solar battery, Brightbox, which can either be purchased or leased.
Sunnova uses vetted, industry-leading battery technology, such as Generac PWRcell™, Enphase Energy System, and Tesla Powerwall.
