Carl called me about 9 minutes after requesting a quote. Then within 2 hours they had Paul G at my house and went through the design of the system based my yearly energy consumption. Paul went through and did the site survey while at my house so nothing needs to be scheduled for later. We went through all of the paperwork and I got approved for the installation. They work with the HOA to get it approved. Idaho Power to get the correct meter installed and go through all of the Tax credits both Federal and State. The only thing that the home owner needs to do is get the value of the Solar panels added to their Home Owners Insurance. Paul also went over why this needs to be done.

After the high pressure sales pitch with insufficient information from the "representative" from BRS, it was like a breath of fresh air dealing with the Paul G from Solar in America, who was both knowledgeable and personable. He kindly spent as much time as was necessary to explain all of the options, the terms and the installation procedures available to meet my specific needs and understanding. From the start I had a very great experience with Solar in America. I contacted a lot of other companies regarding going Solar, and Carl L from Solar in America was the most informative. I felt like he was looking out for my best interest. For a period of over 10 days I did research on PPA vs buying, and Carl helped me out a lot. He informed me about all the tax credits I could get along with the smart program, and offered a year free with the rebate from Solar in America, no other company offers to pay for your first year like this. I've contacted the top ones like Sun Run, Zenernet, Sungevity, Vivent, etc. The first one was Vivent and they failed to tell me about the yearly escalator. I said to wait on the credit check and the sales rep just does it right then and there. My boyfriend's credit took a hit of 2 points because of this. If you go with PPA most company have a yearly escalator, so look out for this. Solar in America have the lowest yearly escalator. Companies like Sungevity and Vivent are higher. I needed to get roofing done too, and Carl gave me the best price on the solar and roof combo. There was one company that wanted to give me just the solar panels for the price of what Solar in America was giving me in solar panel and roof together! I hung up and never called back. I'm able to get tax credit on the roof too. He made sure that my warranty will not only cover materials, but the labor aspect of the system also. In fact, he offered the best roofing warranty, the extended plantinum one. I also get the solar edge inverter which is one of the best in the business along with 25 year warranty. Most company will give about 10 to 20 never 25 years for the inverter because it's costly and tends to go before the panels will ever go. Carl outbid all of the other companies, and I've talked to many including Sungevity, Zernet, Vivent, and Sun Run. He was also the fastest in responding. Some of the other top companies took a long time to get back to me on quotes or they had to come out again for roofing estimates. He ensured me a price and said that it could be lower. Carl knows his product. Not just the panels but the roofing and the warranty too. Most of the other companies only know one product like just the solar panels the warranty for it. Carl knows his information in and out, and unlike other companies he gave me the best possible incentives from the smart program. They missed that I'm low income. He took that into consideration, and knew how to get me more money from the smart program. The other companies overlooked this. Carl doesn't overlook anything. He knows how to put things into perspective so you can see the whole picture better with the different options with going Solar. He offered a way to pay the loan in 6.9 years with the tax credit, smart program, and companies rebate bonus. He is just very knowledgeable about solar. I very much was really stressed out to the point of almost crying dealing with some of the other companies like Sungevity. They were high pressured. Assured me it's okay to sign a contract without the roofing, but their loan product wasn't good because we couldn't get the loan they had. My boyfriend has a credit of 750 which is excellent, but they tried to get us to do the cash option. I said I wasn't sure about it. Patrick had me sign papers anyway saying I can cancel if there are any issues. When I did have issues with the ridiculously high price, he sent me a nasty message. I've read on yelp that he does this to other people too. Patrick S, look him up. I recommend you stay away. He told me that he's giving me commercial price, but his commercial price is higher than Solar in America's regular price for a lesser product. Also they used deceptive practice like putting a different solar panel on the contract and then trying to lie that it's abbreviated. I did many research so I knew only G5 of the q-cells are q.peak duos, not the G4. Sungevity will also lie and say that their panels won best panel in Germany for three years. I did research and their panels won awards for 3 years, but it wasn't the best. The Q-cells are also not better than LG and Sun Power as he claimed. When I mentioned this he said I can give you those panels, but it would be more. Carl never made me feel pressured. He didn't guilt trip me into buying his product. Patrick from Sungevity tried to say that he invested a lot of time into me and answered all my questions, Carl did above and beyond that, but he never used deceptive or high pressure tactics. All he did was try to meet my expectations, which he did. Sungevity tried to say they are the number one company and can beat everyone's prices. They claim they use Solar Edge inverters which are better than other companies. Well Solar in America does too with a better, longer warranty that includes labor and a lower price! I highly recommend Solar in America and Carl L if you want to be treated well and not lied to. They will definitely work with you without making you feel stressed out or guilt trip you.

I have not had installation yet but I can comment on the customer service. We tried to work with several other companies- we went through quite a lot actually as they all fell short in customer service. This is a huge long term investment and customer service was a top priority. The other companies started strong and petered out just before the most important time of install. Lots of reasons, some legit but non the less, they fell short and we dropped them. I have worked with Carl as the sales rep and Erica as the project coordinator. Both are outstanding. Always courteous, responsive and patient with what we want or what we need. If Erica didn’t have an answer, in less than 15 minutes, Carl would call back with answers or explainations so we could discuss and come to a solution. Erica would give me timely updates and neither called too often. I am scheduled for install next week and am confident that this will go well. I will give another review after system in on line.

Solar in America is the full package. From the very beginning of our search for a solar company to install a system on our home, SiA was by far the best and easiest to work with. They presented their system and gave us the time to make the decision. They were never pushy and always available to answer our many questions. We wanted a system that gave us maximum power generation but didn't want the front of our house covered in panels. SiA designed the perfect system for our home. Once we signed up with them the installation began within a couple of weeks. The installation went smooth and with no surprises. I highly recommend doing business with Solar in America.

1. No issues getting an appt. Sales rep, Dave, explained everything to us (although the hubby did his own research). We did get other bids from the best solar companies in the area but went with Solar In America for their competitive prices, plus they had the panels we were searching for. No issues with scheduling the installation, even though they had to push us out a week (understandable, due to the weather). Panels went up in less than a day and luckily they were able to have it inspected the very next day. The net metering was approved within a week. I attribute the quickness to the office filing all the paperwork with speed. We have been up and running since mid-November and have had no issues. I would definitely recommend Solar In America to anyone looking to install solar.

We had Solar in America out to our home for a Solar consultation and our initial skepticism was quickly turned around into excitement. We decided to pull the trigger and move forward with solar. We are saving money every month and aren't nervous about opening that pesky PG&E bill anymore. It's rare that you get exactly what is advertised but with the Solar, I feel we did. The installers were great, the savings are what were promised, and even after the install, our questions have been answered promptly. Solar in America has been very helpful in assisting me in sorting out my options for solar energy. Staff has been very available to answer my numerous questions and they have offered me two different options for either leasing or purchasing panels. Sometimes I had trouble getting correct information on particular questions, especially re: what happens to the panels and the solar contract once you sell your house. But I was persistent and staff went farther to make sure to get me accurate information. I still have not made any final decisions but I appreciate the time various staff members have taken to help me sort out what is a huge decision for me.

I found their representative to be very knowledgeable and he helped me understand some the issues I was concerned about. He explained things in good detail and followed up when he said he would. However, I believe this company leans toward your purchase of their product rather than lease. Their lease proposal did not meet my requirements and I'm not interested in purchasing. As my wife and I are over 70, we probably won't be in this house long enough to recoup expenses if we purchase. I'm leaning towards SunRun. They have a lease option that fits our needs and I also have the advantage of a SunRun rep in my town.

I called to discuss a solar option for my situation. Carl, with uncommon honesty, suggested that solar is not a good option for my situation. I am a single 75 year old and even though I'm in good health, I have no guarantee of another 10 years, let alone 20. With relatively low energy usage, my savings would be small and the hassle of the installation, no matter how smoothly it went, is significant. I get it. What a good guy!

The customer service reps were very friendly, very helpful, and proactive. They are willing to quickly resolve any problem and are always ready to help. Financing option were satisfying and provided a good value. I was provided many options to finance. Their options can fit anybody’s situation. Overall, the company provided a good value taking into account the service they provided and the cost. I am very satisfied and pleased with Solar in america. Already referred a family member

Working with Carl L at Solar in America has been great. He was very patient with me as I shopped around for the best quote and quality panels. Anytime I had a question he answered it immediately. I’m at the point of inspection and feel confident that the remainder of this process will be smooth. My SDGE bill for the month of July was $570 so I can’t wait to have a bill for less than half that!

Bought American made Sunpower (best brand in the industry) solar panels from them. They gave me a great price, Same as others were trying to sell the Chinese stuff. Kept to their promises on everything & offered more guarantees (only one with install guarantee) plus better warranties than others. Best solar company out there. Thank you Solar in America

In spite of other earlier issues, which were eventually resolved, I was concerned, because the system was significantly underproducing. Our first year ended, and total production fell short. But Sofie came through, fulfilled the company's guarantee, and added 2 panels. So far, after a little over a year after activation, the system has been mostly trouble free, and I'm saving very nicely on my electirc bills.

Solar in America is awesome. I've had my solar panels for 2 years now, and my energy bill has gone down a whopping 90%! The installation was easy and painless, they did it while we were out of town over a weekend. I can monitor my usage on the web. And they even called me to advise about how to save money on my electrical bill by changing to a better plan. These guys are the best!

Shah was amazing with providing us with all the details on solar and the savings for me as a home owner very detailed and personal..i have been pitched by multiple companies before I met shah and none of them where able to clearly explain and convince me to go solar I'm glad i waited for the rite company..thanks for helping us save money and the earth.

4. Once we were signed up, the project coordinator contacted us right away & helped us push through our HOA approval, communicated the scheduling, and basically managed all the details. The installers continued the stellar service, being professional, efficient and courteous. It's been several months since our solar panels were completed, and I've never been so gleeful about opening my electrical bill every time. Hooray YES!

I didn't want solar. After filling out something online so many companies called me. Got 2 quotes. "Solar in America" made solar make sense, but I was still apprehensive. Shah made me feel very comfortable. He is a great guy. Decided to take the plunge & I'm happy I did. Saved hundreds off my electric bill last year. Will save more next year as my utility company just announced an increase in their rates

Both Shah & Jon came to our house. Shah was amazing with the way he explained everything clearly & Jon went over the numbers with us which made more than perfect sense. Everything was done and my solar was ready to go within a month! Customer service was excellent & they didn't hound me for the money when I said I would send them the check next week

Solar in America good company after the initial visit with the salesperson I did review on the products and are excellent what they use American-made panels, I was really impressed with their knowledge of solar and the way they explained it to me they came over to my house and explain everything really well to me and my wife I did not buy solar on the first visit but I call him back and I ended up going with Solar in America......

Ok let's see where do I start I think it's important to say that I was wrong when I thought all solar companies are the same... just trying to sell their product and make profits. I finally came across a company that set the highest standards and stood behind them through out the purchase,installation and completion process ..I'm proud to say my home is finally solar powered and I'm so glad I waited to get it done by the rite company..I highly recommend solar in America and the highgly trained solar specialists.

I had gotten several quotes before meeting with Solar in America. Francisco met with us on a Sunday (we couldn't find another company that would meet on Sundays). He cleared up a lot of confusion in regards to what the other companies had told me. We felt comfortable moving forward and are so glad we decided to do so. They weren't the cheapest company, but cheap does not equal good. With their warranties and their experience, we felt them to be the best fit. We had a neighbor choose one of the "cheaper" companies, and after 6 months, they are still waiting.

So far I have 5 or more stars if there was more to give to Solar in America, specially to his agent Carl L which has been doing all he has on his power and way beyond to help me with my loan and to get the panels. I still don’t have the panels installed, but can’t wait to get them.

It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I was a little skeptical at first at how things would carry thru but, from the time I started working with Solar in America and Carl everything has worked out smoothly. They are very professional and the installation took less than one day. The entire process to 22 days. Great Job!

Had a consultation last week and was blown away by how much solar prices have come down since I last looked at this. It was an absolute no-brainer for me to do this. I'm very happy with my decision and will be referring my friends and family.

We went solar through Solar in America. They did a great job. They came when they said they would. They answered all of our questions promptly. It all went smoothly and now we are basking in the sun with our meter running backwards.

I bought a 26,535 watt system from them for my ranch. My average bill before going solar was over 10,000 a month because the utility company didn't have Mr on the agricultural rate plan! We had a terrible experience with another vendor (A1 Solar), of which the only positive outcome was that it forced us to do our research which brought us to Solar In America. I couldn't be happier with the company or their employees. Their pricing was fair, their service was great and they made adjustments as we called them out without question.

These people are excellent start to finish. They came out quickly and explained what could be done, they gave us a good, reasonable quote, they did work quickly, and got all the approvals from the city and system turn on way faster than promised. Very professional and responsive....

I didn’t know if solar was right for me but after my consultation I was pleasantly surprised. The cost was way lower than I expected. I had a lot of questions that I didn’t know to ask and Jonathan was very informative. I wish I had looked at this sooner.
