Best company on bestcompany.com for solar. Can't say how much Francisco helped us out. We were turned down by other solar companies because they couldn't finance us. Finally Solar in America got us solar! Thank you so much,youve made my day!

I did not buy from Carl @ Solar in America. He did, however, educate me on solar and explain how my it wouldn't make sense to go solar because of the discounts I get with my utility company and my low usage. Very helpful & informative. Not trying to make a quick buck or pushy at all.

I was referred to Solar in America by a coworker and had a good experience. They had a special going at the time and they paid for one whole year of my solar payments. No electricity bill for a whole year and a lower payment than Pacific Gas and Extortion...no brained for me. Very happy with the whole process.

End of 2016 I had gotten a few quotes to compare companies products, services, etc... SolarinAmerica had the best offer. Price was more than fair as I am now paying less for my electricity than I was with PG&E. On top of that they gave me the first year for free!!! My only regret is I didn't find them earlier.

Mr. Shah was very kind and responsible in explaining the solar process from start to finish. He also answered all my questions and was available to me as needed throughout the solar process. I highly recommend Solar In America. Thanks

I liked the service when they were installed my solar but I don’t like there business conduct where they tell people that if you install solar today you will get a 1000.00 rebate which up to now I haven’t seen . So if someone named Lee from solar in America promise you any thing don’t fall for it and if you try to contact them you will get no response which I think is false advertising and poor customer service.

it was great discussion about the whole process of getting fixed solar panels , warranties(for 25 yrs) and it’s extension in future. I feel , price is reasonable compared to other companies . There is no hidden fees .

Great company to work with. Saw a ad on facebook and requested to be contacted. They had someone come out the next day for a quote. The panels look great and completely satisfied with the overall process.

He is nice at first to get your business then a fraud and VERY RUDE after he gets the contact signed and then you get nothing they promised once you are in the loan contract. THE MAN THAT CAME TO MY HOUSE TO SIGN ME UP WHO WORKS FOR CARL L, (TREVOR D), EVEN SAID HE HAD NEVER GOTTEN PAID FOR HIS WORK, WHICH I ALSO HAVE IN A TEXT!! I was promised they would give me a rebate check from them to cover the first 18 months of the loan for the solar panels, which should cover me till I got the Income Tax solar rebate all to put towards my loan which should make my monthly solar/electric payment $92. I was also promised a $50 gift card just for doing a review on Solar in America, which I did raving review at first but once I saw what was really going on I changed it to reflect the truth, and once I did Carl L was Very rude and said he wanted nothing to do with me and that Whitney F would handle everything from here out. She also seemed nice at first said she would handle everything and apologized for Carl's behavior. No more than a few days later she was also making false promises and avoiding my calls & they say they are working on it, the check is in the mail since 8/23 & they all avoid calls, texts & don't respond to anything. They also promised an extra $1000 for going over 30 days on the installation, but of course backed out after the fact. Lastly, I was supposed to get a solar package to help keep me energy efficient including 2 Nest Thermostats for my 2 furnaces, LED light bulbs for my entire house & weatherstripping. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE SINGLE THING THAT WAS PART OF THE DEAL THEY GAVE WHEN WE SIGNED UP!! THIS COMPANY IS DOING A CLASSIC BAIT & SWITCH!!! PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SOLAR IN AMERICA OR FREEDOM FOREVER!!!! DIG DEEP INTO ANY SOLAR COMPANY BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM DUE TO THE FACT THAT FREEDOM FOREVER HAS/HIRES CONTRACT WORK TO DO THE BAIT & SWITCH!!! ANYONE CAN CALL AND WORK FOR THEM? PLEASE STAY AWAY from this company and also Solar in America Corp. Carl L has given me the run around for several months now. He provided me with a rebate certificate for $1,800 on 3/25/19 to cover the first year of service on my system, and I have been chasing him since 9/1/19 for it. He has on multiple occasions stated that the check was in the mail. I have this captured in private text messages from Carl directly. I contacted my representative and found out that he is no longer employed by Solar of America, and he is also in litigation for unpaid wages. I've also come to find out that Carl L is no longer a partner in Solar in America, and has opened his own company Solar in America Corp. He and his prior partner Sam R have their own legal issues that they are handling with miss managed funds. This company will offer you the world to sign up with them and as soon as you sign on the dotted line they will take your money and disappear. I'm still waiting on the significant savings that going solar is suppose to provide and its been almost a year. I'm going to look into a class action suit as I'm sure that Carl and Sam have done this to multiple customers, and continue to do so.

Thank you for showing me what I would be in for in the future. I reached out to the company for a quote in the week of 9/16/19 and 9/23/19. I had to call Carl L on 9/23/19 to remind him to send me the quote. When he finally sends it on 9/24/19 it’s not what I requested. I said ppa and he sent me a quote for a loan. I call him to discuss and he says he will promptly send me the correct quote first thing Wed morning. I received nothing, I then email him at 1:15pm EST and he says "You will have it in your email inbox by noon PST. Thanks" That was Wed. It is now Friday 10:30am and still nothing. I guess they only want to do loans b/c they know they won’t be around for the next 20 years.

Carl L is a scam artist. They promise an incentive of paying the $1,000 or the amount of the first year of payments and do not deliver. They reel you in with lies and then subcontract the work to incompetent contractors. They have failed to obtain permits as well as fail inspections (the failed inspections were voided because the permit was designed for the wrong house!) I too am pursuing litigation against them along with quite a few other people. I'm currently paying out of pocket for a system that doesn't produce power and probably won't for months! Don't believe them go somewhere else these guys are the worst.

Paul and Carl were great to work with and great explanation of how things work. All questions answered professionally and honestly. Very low pressure sales pitch.

To tell you the truth I didnt do business with them due to lack of salesman man experience, for the questions I had he had to call for answers didnt know where the panals made at or ever warranty questions he had to call for back up to answer. Didnt feel comfortable to move forward with the company I think theres a lack of training

Salespersons are great and product sounds fantastic! You would had received 5 stars if I knew there was going to be a hard credit check against my account. I believe customers should be aware of that before credit is ran.

Everything started fine. Prices were good. Carl L and Sam R were both great. Very knowledgeable. We would recommend Solar in America. We have been very happy with our experience with this company.

Carlos did a wonderful job explaining solar and all of its benefits to me and my wife Abigail. He went over the installation process, financing in a clear and simple way.

Fast and efficient although communication could be better with the contractor. Sales is in constant contact and is very helpful. Pricing is some of the best. Installation took one day and was very professional.

I have been waiting to hear from the person who is installing my solar panels , it’s 2 weeks now and I have heard nothing,. I’m trying to get in touch with Carl but can’t . I’m getting frustrated. After going though everything I feel like they just don’t want to put my solar in.

Great company. Nobody is perfect and we did have a hick up, but they came through with their promise to make it right. That is what customer service is about.
