$0 Upfront Costs

You have several options to choose from when buying a solar energy system through Maximo Solar Industries. You can purchase solar panels upfront with cash or credit card, or you can finance or lease the equipment to help minimize the upfront costs.

You can even finance your solar panels through a PACE solar loan. The PACE program allows you to pay back the loan through additional payments on your property taxes and are sponsored by your city or state.

Simple Solar Installation Process

Maximo Solar Industries prides itself on helping find homeowners the perfect solar system. If you're interested in working with Maximo Solar Industries, you can expect the following process:

  • Set Up Consultation — You can call, email, or visit one of Maximo Solar Industries offices and speak with one of its certified specialists. The specialist will help you determine your solar needs and design a solution that best suits your wants and needs.
  • Site Visit— After the consultation, one of the company's on-site specialists will evaluate your property. This simply helps the company come up with a solution that will work best for you.
  • System Design — Once the site visit is complete, the engineering team will take all the collected data and create a customized solar system for your home. Once that's done, the installation can begin.
  • Start Saving — Once your system is up and running, you can look forward to lower energy costs.
  • Monitoring — The company may come by from time to time to follow up with you and ask how your system is running.

While Maximo Solar Industries process is nothing too complicated, we appreciate the company's candidness. Including this information on the website can help homeowners who are new to the solar industry and aren't sure what to expect.

Awards and Recognitions

In September of 2017, the devastating Hurricane Maria struck the island of Puerto Rico. The hurricane uprooted trees, knocked down cell towers, drowned weather stations, and cut off 100 percent of the island's electricity.

In the aftermath of the hurricane, Maximo Solar Industries decided to start an initiative and find a way to make Puerto Rico more energy-independent. Because of its efforts, Maximo Solar Industries was the first runner up for Solar Power World's 2018 "Most Forward-Thinking" company.

The Bad

  • Limited Service Area
  • Project Information

Limited Service Area

Currently, Maximo Solar Industries only works on residential, commercial, and industrial facilities in Florida and Puerto Rico. While the company has stated that it plans on expanding, there is no mention as to when that will happen.

Project Information

Maximo Solar Industries includes links to some of its most recent projects on its website. This is great because it allows potential customers to see what kind of work the company is doing. However, most of the projects only include one picture (usually of the finished system) and no explanation of how the project went. We would like to see a bit more detail included, such as before, during, and after photos or a description of the system (maybe even why particular panels were chosen).

The Bottom Line

Maximo Solar Industries is not available nationwide, but it's worth looking into if you live in Florida or Puerto Rico. The company has plans to expand its services — although there is no mention of how long it will take. We like that Maximo Solar Industries is upfront with its financing and offers several different options, so you can find what works best for you.
