They were very helpful on getting solar information and once I decided to go with that company, they got the solar up on roof in two days, it would have taken only one day but it snowed on the day of installation so it took two days. I have had the solar for a little over three months and everything is going perfect!!!!

I am glad to finally get my solar panels installed, I haven’t had them installed long enough to see how it improves my electric bill. It seemed like the process would go smoothly and then not so much. The installers did d professional work and kept me informed during installation. Sometimes the communication between Green Home Systems, Ameren Illinois, and me was a little strained.

GHS has a great product, great design team that listens to the customer. Installation was quick and easy, still struggling with the SREC credit process but expect that to be cleared up soon. Enjoyed working with Itai and Andrew in the design and placement of each piece to be installed. Well worth your time to hear what they have to say.

They have been helpful with problems we have had. My complaint is that I had them installed in July they did not get it correct until December of that year. Now they do say they will reimburse me for the payments that I had to make while I was not able to actually use the panels but I did not get anything for the missed credits I should have gotten during the most productive part of the year. Now that they have been up for most for the beginning of December 2023 we have not had a problem with them working. GHS has been in contact through the issues but there was about a month and a half that I did not hear from them nor did they respond to messages or calls that I made to get anything going. Once it started costing them money they did get right on taking care of the problems.

Got my solar energy system with a backup battery, and everything works great! Now, when the power goes out I still have heat and lights till the grid comes back up. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to save money and not be left in the dark.

If you are leaning towards solar power for your home or business, don’t wait. Call GHS and talk with someone who knows what they are talking about. State and Federal incentives make this totally affordable. And after your installation, watch your electric bills vanish. All natural. A sunny day is all you need to save a lot of money.

Green home Systems is awesome! They have great warranty and service on their systems. I have been really happy with my system since 2019. They are a one stop shop for all your solar needs. You don't have to call around they do all the heavy lifting. Since my first call back in 2019 Ian P was my sales manager and all I ever had to do was speak to him and he took care of everything from the system installation to any repairs I've needed. I've saved so much money on my electric bill over the years.

I want to thank Green home systems, and especially Anat the project manager who regularly followed up and kept me informed of every step, until the project was complete. She even made adjustments to the plan, when she saw it could be a better aesthetically layout. The installers were professional, considerate and made sure they didn't damage anything in the process of their installation. Finally, the sales person, he was thorough in his explanation and very competitive in offering me a fair price. Thanks Green Home Systems :)

The process went pretty well from the start with Robbie as the sales manager and then moved to Chris the project manager. Chris stayed on top of things like permitting and what not so the process went as planned. Our installer, Dale did an excellent job installing the panels and taking care of our yard as we had a ground mount solar system installed. I would definitely recommend Green Home Systems!

It was all very easy. From the beginning, getting a quote and all the info from the Sales rep, Kenny L, he was awesome. He worked really hard to get us the best solar panels suited for our home😊😀 The project manager, Delesia H, is amazing. She kept us up to date every step of the way and made sure to communicate any necessary changes immediately. And Tony H, the one who installed our solar panels, even got them done 1 month ahead of schedule. Im still amazed at how quickly everything got done. And super grateful to all of these people for all their help through this process.

Had a great experience through sales process with Robbie - transparent, clear explanation, not too pushy but assertive. Really excellent project management support from Cat - again proactive, assertive with clear time commitments that were followed and achieved. Also a very clean handoff to the local installer who was responsive and connected through Cat to the whole process

Martin M. Pittsburgh, PA 3/15/2023 First of all, I do not believe in writing reviews that do not tell the entire story. That is why I have waited 2 years to write a review of Green Solar Technologies (now Green Home Systems). On January 27, 2021 I signed a contract with Green Solar Technologies to have 35 LG 340 watt solar panels and 2 Solaredge inverters installed on my house. Lesson number 1, don't expect a quick installation. An engineer came out to the house to ensure the roof was good enough to support the panels and the shingles were in good shape so that the panels would not need to be removed in just a couple of years to re-shingle the house. Then the approval process begins. Local code approval must be obtained and the electric company needs to approve the plan. Lesson number 2, Green Solar subcontracts the work. If Green Solar doesn't have an electrician immediately available, they must contract with one. This took several weeks and on May 12th the supplies were delivered and installation was scheduled for May 18th. On the night of May 17th the electrician's wife decided to go into labor 3 weeks early, so installation was delayed a few more days. Lesson number 3, the electric company runs on their own schedule and they have no intention of rushing things. Another 2 weeks went by before the power company came out to look at the installation and install the net meter. You cannot turn the system on until they give final approval. Lesson 4, don't expect everything to work the first time. 3 of the panel optimizers were bad and needed to be replaced. We found this out on June 17th. Only 32 out of 35 panels were producing electricity. After numerous delays, the 3 replacement optimizers arriver on July 29th ,2021 and on August 9th the electrician installed them. Lesson 5, I have West Penn Power as my electric provider. In Pennsylvania, you can select a different company for power generation but must stay with West Penn Power for distribution. If you do that, West Penn Power will pay you a lower price for the electricity you send to the grid. I needed to go back to West Penn Power for both generation and distribution before they paid me the same amount of money per kilowatt I sent to the grid as I paid when I drew power from the grid. 2022 was the first full year that the system produced power. On average, the system produces 1,100 KW per month (more in the summer, less in the winter). The panels and inverters that Green Solar uses are top notch and the 25 year guarantee is one of the best in the business. When one of the optimizers went out last year, they notified me and had an electrician come out to replace it. The Solaredge app is fantastic. I can see what my panels are producing in real time and the app keeps track of production history. In Pennsylvania (and some other states), we can sell our Solar Renewable energy credits (1 credit equals 1 megawatt of generation). I use SRECTRADE to sell my credits. It took a little while to set up the account, but it is well worth it. Bottom line, I am very pleased with the system Green Solar installed. Don't expect a quick installation though, since a lot of the delays are not Green Solar's fault. It would be nice if they had more electricians in the installation area to prevent delays, if Green Solar fixes this issue, I would give them 5 stars.

It's important to me to be able to generate my own power, limiting what I pay to the energy company and decreasing my carbon footprint, so I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Green Home Systems. From the moment I contacted them, through the loan process and installation, they were available to answer all my questions. Having the installation done by a local company gave me peace-of-mind. They reassured me that my roof was stable, the equipment top-notch and that I got a great deal through Green Home.

I contacted them to explore the possibility of solar at my home. Jake (sales) was lovely, patient, and spent time answering multiple questions. Eric (project manager) was very helpful with the project planning and permitting, equipment delivery and logistics. The installer here in Pennsylvania was marvelous. We were up and running ever since July 1, 2022. I am quite pleased with the appearance and functionality of the array.

I paid for a 5G upgrade in February. Received the parts via mail in March, however despite numerous emails and phone calls, I still have not heard back about getting this installed. The previous phone numbers and email addresses are no longer in service

The product quality and how I was explained the goodness and badness of the product ,the comparison with other solar systems etc

We had an excellent experience with our solar installation. Ivan K stayed in contact with us throughout the process and addressed all of our concerns. This is the best project we ever had done. Kudos to you, Ivan!

I worked with GHS to design, permit, and install a solar system on my garage roof last year. They walked me through the whole process. I was uncertain how it would get accomplished between their offices in California and my roof in Pennsylvania, but in about six months the system was producing.
