So my name is Hi, I'm your own. We live in Santa Clarita. Um Actually Green Home Solar was referred by a friend of mine that um had them do the install for him and he was very happy with it. So we had uh Barry come out and Barry was very informative. Um A lot of information, he explained the benefits, the costs, what's gonna happen, how everything's gonna happen? Um gave us some paperwork to look over and then um I had some questions the next day and I called him up and he was very helpful and um we just decided to go with them. We didn't really try anybody else. We just based on my friends, we refer and the impression we got from very, very thorough. It was actually pretty fast and straightforward once we decided to do it. Um just a few emails back and forth some docusign, easy process. Uh Chris, the project manager was really, really good, very good communication skills, um explained every stage to us. Um even when there was a, a hiccup. Yeah, a few hiccups that was mostly due to the heavy rains that we had um installation was quick once they got started a couple of days and um just very happy so far. It feels good. It feels good to know that the price of our monthly bill is not going to go up that if we need more energy, we can use it. We're usually pretty frugal, but I mean, the bills were getting crazy. So this was definitely the right move. Yes, definitely very happy.

In a CONTRACT, they have signed and my husband has signed, it states they owe us $868. Part of that amount is a rebate for going solar (in writing in a contract signed by both parties), and the other part of that amount is a payment owed to us for their clerical error in entering our address (payment is also in a signed contract), resulting in excessive power bills from the utilities company due to switching to solar. They have owed us this money for SIX MONTHS going on SEVEN with constant communication in attempts to collect. And constantly being told the check will be mailed the next day checks are sent out or that it was already mailed (has never showed up). Robbie H. is an absolute joke, sarcastic, passive aggressive, condescending but worst of all, a LIAR. I sent a demand letter for payment, 7 business days ago demanding payment in 2 weeks. Which has been acknowledged, forwarded to the company lawyer, and then ignored. I have filed a complaint with the BCA, will now be looking at filing a bad business complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, state of California, state of Nevada (state the work was completed in), and any other avenue I can. We are now looking at pursuing this in the court of law in 7 more business days. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY!!! They have terrible business ethics.

When I had my solar system installed, I interviewed a lot of companies that were installing solar systems to get estimates and the no pressure sales that some promised was not so , now Iean P from Green Solar did not pressure me in to buying there system like the others he gave me time to think about it let me get other quotes compare systems etc. I called him back and started the process. Now the reason I went with them is the panels, inventors the tie in to the grid were not the top rated but they were close. I did a lot of research before contacting solar installers, and they wanted to install subpar systems for the same amount of money. Now, my system was not cheap by any means, but it was also a big house. The only issues I had with the installation and the project being completed was the on site manager that quit or was relocated so there was a little delay in completing the install and next was the ok to flip the switch (on system) for grid tie in because the company that handles that for the power company in illinois never called us, but I contacted Iean and he made some calls and a week later we got the go ahead to turn the system on from the power company grid tie in group that is not even in this state. My overall experience was awesome. Yes, there were bumps in the road, but we worked through it, and the system did what it was designed for taking a $300/month electric bill to a $14 which has stayed the same since it was installed.... System was installed in November 2020. July of 2023 power outage damaged my backup system. took three months for me to find a contractor to work with them. I had to guarantee payment for their service . GHS promised reimbursement, which I am still waiting on. I contacted the contractor who had installed our system. He has not had better luck in his contact with GHS. Their customer service is beyond lousy, it barely esxists. I am glad for the folks who have a good experience with GHS.

Took forever to get job done, The subcontractor that came to actually do the job other contractor had sent wrong parts or missing parts. One day job took 5, miss wired so had to be redone so utility company would allow on grid, still not right but at least on grid. The subcontractor stole tools and supplies from me. Cut through LP gas line even knowing where it was. Took them 3 days to figure out the right parts to fix the gas line. I had to fix wire that slipped out of breaker, then tighten all the breakers, after they had left. GHS would not return calls, voice mails, or texts and emails. Seems only got back after reviewing in places like this and BBB. And when I went to BBB, I discovered despite their home page saying they were BBB accredited, they not only were not but had an F rating on BBB page. After I and I guess BBB called them on it, they removed it from home page. If I had known that before I would not have bought off them. I trust the BBB accreditation and their claiming to have it was a big deciding factor. Total nightmare GHS only got required paperwork for rebate from my state after Illinois Shines got involved.

After researching different solar companies I choose Green Home and have been pleased ever since. Stanislav was very patient and helpful. He took the time to answer all of my questions and walk me through the entire process. I was please to know that Green Home handled the entire process in house with no outside people. Green Home contacted me when my original converter quit working and replaced it. They then noticed that my converter was offline earlier this year and help me get it back online so I could continue to save money. I'm a very pleased customer since 2019.

Entirety of my solar purchasing experience had its ups and downs, but all in all, it remained positive. Also, company has changed ownership/name as it was green solar when I purchased panels. Contacts that would reach out to me on occasion, or whom I could contact with inquiries seemed to change quite often. Not sure on the details, but it did appear as if there was a higher turnover with their employees. I remember someone named Angel early on, and a Michael, maybe a Michelle in there, but those were the only ones that seemed to stick around long enough that I can name. All in all, they did great up to the point of after the install, then communicating did drop off, albeit not entirely. I remember signing an awful lot of e-signatures, many of which were redundant in my opinion, but there was always progress forward. If I had a complaint or two for real, the first would be whatever contractor they hired to actually install the system. I understand it’s bidding process, and no affiliations may be in order, but being in the trades and associated with the process myself, I am a firm believer that the cheapest option is not always the way to go. I cannot name the company off-hand, but I do remember them being based in the Champaign, IL area. Although the system is installed and operational, I am less than happy with the cleanliness and quality of the install. Very little forethought and prep was put into the install, just an email or two with satellite view images. Panels mounted on ground due to no south facing roofline, but no ground prep was completed, just plop, right there with the basic angled brackets/mounts on top of the healthy grass with a single layer of landscape paper to “prevent” growth. The ground and panels aren’t even somewhat level. The inverter was mounted to the south side of my garage after some heated debate, because it was “too hard” or “too far away” for them to mount anywhere else that I suggested, and they wanted to get the job completed asap. They trenched from the panels to my garage without so much as checking to make sure anything was going to be hit in the process, then due to their time crunch (I’m assuming), actually offered me a small amount of cash back so they wouldn’t have to back-fill the trench they made. I live far from most things, so not that big a deal really, but that just screams shoddy workmanship to me. They arrived in a Tesla and a small work vehicle, but the Tesla was plugged in to my garage outlet because he didn’t plan ahead, and realized after the fact he wouldn’t have enough power to make it anywhere. Not that it cost me much, but no severance was offered for that little deal. Lastly, pvc conduit is acceptable to me, but at least take the time to measure and cut, not just bend and flex the longer pieces because your cut was too short and you’re too lazy or cheap to cut another piece. Those “glued” joints are no longer joints fyi. As I stated previously though, my displeasure was with the actual contractor. One or two other displeasures involved the SRECs and the actual sizing of the system. I originally was planning on installing an approximate 14kw system, but had to downsize to a 10kw (9.9kw) due to some apparent limitation that stated anything over that size qualified as a power generating facility and would need regular inspections from the power company…which cost more money than what I would be saving from the extra 4kw. Panels all came on a semi, which couldn’t reach my property because it got stuck, and I had to drive my truck with my largest trailer to transfer everything over from his location. Once again, poor planning. The SRECs situation may not be their fault either, but know that I was told originally that I would receive approximately 6k to 7k more than I actually did when I finally received a check…years after the install. After many phone calls (to a carbon management solutions group), I found I was apparently bumped from higher tier lists (higher tier equals higher SREC worth) because they were full up, and funding was dropping. Nothing I could do except wait as I was dropped from A to B To C, then finally D, which I believe was the one I finally was paid out on. Note that this has nothing to do with the company I purchased the panels from, but I thought it worth mentioning here for those that might be going interested. After all that criticism, I must say, the system does work, and the app I have to monitor everything is user friendly, informative, and has nice features. The panels seem to be high enough quality and are quite durable. Haven’t had a single issue other than weeds and pvc conduit coming apart. The company, although different contacts, still reaches out from time to time to check on me, which I find comforting. All in all, pleased with their actual end of things.

This company does not pay it's bills and continues to sell solar systems to unknowing customers throughout the US. I actually just called and got a quote last week. They are criminals and should be in prison.

The process to purchase solar panels came easily as my electric bill almost reached $700/month at one point so I had to take action to lower my costs. The planning process wasn't always perfect as my original project manager left the company halfway through the project, however, the job was completed with a slight delay and wasn't too much of a hassle. The panels are organized well on the roof and the wiring and boxes on the outside of the house look clean. I had a new electric panel installed and that is now setup nice and neat compared to what it looked like with the old panel. Now that everything is up and running, I have seen a dramatic decrease in my electric bill and the cost has gone down to $150-250/month compared to $500-700. Extremely satisfied with this outcome and would highly recommend other homeowners to purchase them as well.

They have been helpful with problems we have had. My complaint is that I had them installed in July they did not get it correct until December of that year. Now they do say they will reimburse me for the payments that I had to make while I was not able to actually use the panels but I did not get anything for the missed credits I should have gotten during the most productive part of the year. Now that they have been up for most for the beginning of December 2023 we have not had a problem with them working. GHS has been in contact through the issues but there was about a month and a half that I did not hear from them nor did they respond to messages or calls that I made to get anything going. Once it started costing them money they did get right on taking care of the problems.

Green home system was great to deal with everything they promised they delivered and I’m the type that has a lot of questions and they answered every question for me even after I purchased them and was waiting I talk to the project manager Gustavo he would reply, even when he was in a meeting and tell me that he would get back to me and he did in a timely manner and the panels were installed working well. We had been thinking about solar for some time. The power outages in Texas in 2021 convinced us it was time, both to be protected from power cuts and because the repairs and improvements to the generating and grid infrastructure were sure to drive power prices up. I did some online research and contacted Green Home Systems to get more information regarding equipment sourcing and supply as well as long term support and maintenance. I felt confident that buying from Green Home was the right decision as they were able to assure me that everything necessary to keep a system operational for 20 years had been considered and product support would continue to be available during the expected product lifetime. The sales team was able to explain the various options in terms of power production and battery backup and how they would impact cost. We worked with the design team to configure a system that would provide power for my home 24/7 during extended outages. The planning stage was the most time consuming as we had to wait for local (city, state, power company) approval of the installation. Once all the permits were in place Green Home was able to procure the equipment within a couple of weeks and a very knowledgeable installation team had the system installed and operational in one day. I'm a bit of a techie and was very interested in learning as much as possible about the nuts and bolts of the system during installation and the installers were very willing to give explanations for all my operational questions. We then had to wait for a week or so for power company and city sign off (permission to operate) before we could throw the switch and turn everything on. We have had a couple of "learning moments" when power was lost and batteries/panels did not take over as expected, but Green Home has been responsive in answering questions and explaining what has occurred and what to do next time to stop the problem occurring again. We live in a new neighborhood and there have been several outages in the last year due to the power company connecting new equipment or construction workers breaking something, apart from the first couple of times everything has worked perfectly, keeping the power on and everything working (other than having to reset clocks on the stove and microwave). We've been operational now for 9 months and the system had performed very well. During a daytime power outage the panels produce enough power to run the home and charge the batteries, if the power is out after dark the batteries provide power overnight. During normal daytime operation the panels produce enough power to run the house and export sufficient KWH's to the power company to "pay back" the power we consume from the grid at night. My monthly power bill runs $7-10 which is basically the minimum charge to power company makes to have the house connected to the grid, and our payment fo the solar installation is already less than we would be paying the power company at today's rates so overall we are now saving money as well as being protected from power loss. Our advice to anyone thinking of going solar is to have a firm set of expectations for what Solar is going to do for you, make sure your providers design team understands them, and they create a system design that will meet those goals. We couldn't be happier with our system and would definitely recommend Green Home Systems to anyone considering going solar.

Let me just say, I'm very pleased with the end product and production. We went through 5-7 different companies for bids & trying to make sense of "SOLAR". Green Home Systems was the only company I felt comfortable doing business with. Everything from the beginning was straight forward and informative. Seven months ago Green Solar Technology installed a 24-panel set-up for our home, rental unit and art studios. They analyzed last year's electric usage and the layout of our 9.5 acre rural property and recommended a 20-panel installation with an additional 4 panels to account for the anticipated loss of electricity due to the placement 350 ft. below our house in a meadow away from the redwood trees shading our house roof. The installation took only 1-1/2 weeks and for 7 months we have been enjoying negative balance bills from our distribution company, Pacific, Gas and Electric. The installation crew was professional and expedient, the sales people attentive and informative and the financial terms attractive. I would recommend Green Solar Technologies to anyone looking to solarize their home or business.

I had my system installed 2 years ago, Oct 2015. The system generates exactly the amount of energy I need on a yearly basis. A little too much generated in the winter vs amount of electricity we use, not quite enough in the summer due to A/C usage. So their calculations were spot on for number of panels needed. My average electric bill was $120-150, now it's $4 to $10, which are surcharges from Edison. Installation by Green Solar was very professional, all worked perfectly first time with no problems since. I chose Green Solar because of 1) Price was best of 4 quotes, 2) They use world proven 25 yr warranteed panels with distributed Micro-inverters rather than one large inverter. I'm very happy with my choice of companies.

They came on site, knew their tasks, review the job with staff, clarified answers to any questions staff had; . ensured safety at all times Engineer kept the staff on task ensuring timely completion. very courteous and informative. Engineer on site verified task completion. Coordination between Leggett Electrical and Salt River Project for the entire project was outstanding and timely. Both parties kept me informed and involved. I purchased the system Green Solar Technologies played a key role in the financing and upper level tasks associated with the purchase and installation. Green Solar Technologies is taking a lead role in resolving noise observed by occupants. I was impressed with the monitoring of the system to ensure consistent service and the promise to respond to any interruption. I like the guarantee to be there when I need them. Customer Service has ben very positive. I just retired from a career AT a nuclear power plant. Customer Service is keeps a nuclear power plant in business. I would gladly do business with Green Solar Technologies and Leggett Electrical in the future.
