We just finished an installation of 6kw solar panels on our roof, and this crew was a complete pro! The entire process has been exceptional, from scheduling to the initial consultation to the scheduling with our salesperson, design process, communication with the various offices, and the installation, they made us feel secure that we have the best team for our project. More importantly, they did an excellent job on the actual installation day. I would highly recommend them.

We love how this company addressed our concerns and reassured us with safe and thorough installation. We were so excited about going solar but we had numerous questions about the possible risks given that the initial outlay can be significant. Each step of the way was explained clearly. The installation crew also did their work with expertise and utmost respect for our space. They met and exceeded our expectations and gave us full confidence all the way through. These are amazing folks and I highly recommend their works.

I used Ameco solar to install our solar panels on our home in Santa Monica. They were priced well. They offered me a premium panel (LG). They had a strong warranty. I liked that they used all black rails so that the system looks sleek on the roof. They also included all the permit fees and didn't leave those up to me like some of the other companies i met with. Overall they felt solid and they had a long track record....the longest by far! Their installation and communication went very smooth. We will be using them in the near future to add pool solar heaters. Good company!

During a major remodel we had Ameco install solar panels on our roof tops. To date, our monthly bills have been negative numbers ranging from -10.95 to - 49.50. Their installation was smooth and efficient and the follow ups regarding use, care and problem solving is excellent. We are ahead of schedule for payback on this system. We are averaging 35 kilowatts per day with several months reaching 1 megawatt production.

Back in 2008, I had a little extra money and I thought how might I invest it. I use a lot of electricity, so I checked around and chose Ameco Solar and got hooked up to the SCE electrical grid in January of 2009 and have been very pleased. My last bill for February was - $51 ! !! !!! I have produced over 55,000 kwhrs and saved over 100,000 parts of CO2. Until recently, my transmission cost ran under $2.00 a month or about $24.00 a year ! !! !!! Next January I will have a system that has been working for ten years ! !! I am very glad I decided install a solar system using Ameco Solar.

Integrity is important in any business. I have worked with this company several times and was always impressed by how they made sure the service and product were to our satisfaction. That's on top of them having a crew that is so friendly and fast-working. Prices are competitive too.

Amazing to work with. I’ve installed my system over 10 years ago so far I had no issues with the system. I just had some problems with the inverter I called in and they came in within two days Since I called and fix the issue right away. I am super impressed with the customer service after 10 years!! I had my solar system installed by them 9 years ago. Completely satisfied to this date. System works well. They have always answered questions when I have asked. Payoff rate is as predicted or a bit ahead of schedule. A pleasure to work with.

Great experience from sales to installation and completion. Efficient, smooth, and timely (less what seemed to be time waiting for city inspection/approval). The cost savings to date are well ahead of schedule for cost recovery. Average electric bill is generally for government fees, taxes, and charges.

Easy to work with and honest employees. We have installed 18 solar panels on our roof. I really appreciated that they stood behind their work when we called them to fix a very small issue. They fixed it in no time!

Do not sign up with this company! We signed a contract with them in July. Before signing they are very happy to talk to you. The sales people call every day and bring in engineers if needed. After signing things change rapidly. They assign a project manager who avoids you as much as possible, answers questions only by email with short, confusing answers. The person who did the site survey didn’t put panels on the south facing roof because of too much shade from trees. However the trees had been removed. Now they will not give us a date for installation. We are very sorry we have a contract with this company!

I signed a solar panel installation contract with Ameco Solar in the end of October 2019. According to the contract Ameco had to get all permits and approvals by the mid of December 2019. I planned to install panels by the end of 2019 to get 30% of the Federal incentive. Whole November I emailed them asking if everything is fine and smooth. I did that because I did not feel any activities. Often they did not reply, but when they did they confirmed that everything is good and no reasons not to have panels installed by the end of 2019. In the mid of December when they passed a deadline I asked them again. It turned out that they forgot that I live in HOA area and they have to get an approval from HOA. Also it turned out that they didn't have a city approval. They started promised me that very very soon it will be ready. It was clear for all of us that panels won't be installed in 2019 at least because there was no chance to get HOA approval in Christmas period. I asked them in the end of 2019 that due to the contract breach I want to break the contract and please return my $1000 deposit. And even at that moment (2 weeks after the deadline) they did not get the city approval. They said that since they did some job (drawings) they can't return me my deposit even in case of they breached the contract! I prepared documents to file a small claim and in the end of the January they informed me that they got all approvals, let's proceed. The end of the January, 7 weeks later!!! They had a few attempts to submit drawings but looks like the city returned them papers, though my project is super simple. Right at this moment I notified them that I will sew them and only that helped to get my $1000 back. Amazing! Everyone can fail, but after you failed you can still try to resolve a conflict well. But not Ameco Solar! No one can return me my my time and loss of 4% Federal incentive difference.

My system completely stopped working, and they have failed to provide any service. They do not return calls. When I have reached them, they promise to call back but never do. They cited their long history in the industry as a selling point promising reliable service, but they have not lived up to that at all.
