I used Axia for my solar needs (panels, battery, inverter etc.). Start was good, getting the solar installed took us time but that is to be expected when everyone was trying to get it installed before end of 2025 for tax credits. After it was installed, the quality of support I have received has been poor. Their Q Home app was not working correctly, showing incorrect readings. But the biggest shock was when after using the solar for the first full billing cycle, I got a $400 bill from SoCal Edison. This was a 250% increase compared to same month last year. It was as if I had no solar and I'm paying even more. It is very frustrating to see a bill that high when you've spent more than $30k installing the solar. My project coordinator has told me that she can't do anything as the project has closed on her side (even though solar has not worked as expected even for a single day) and that I need to reach out to Axia service team, who have not been great in responding. I feel stuck. I had gone with them because they are a big company, had competitive prices and a manufacturer that does everything including installation. But so far my experience has been poor dealing with them. My advice to anyone reading this is go with another company, even if they are charging a little bit more money. It's not worth the hassle and risking it with such a big investment.

My solar power system by Qcells is working well, and I am pleased with it. However I did have problems (my experience was unpleasant). Many times there seemed to be no progress on the project; and when I would ask for status updates I would get no response. My e-mails (about anything) were routinely ignored. When they finally installed the system, they provided me with no means of monitoring it. When I eventually was able to monitor the system, I discovered that it wasn't working; It had been installed incorrectly. When I contacted them about fixing it, they just blew me off. Eventually it was fixed, and it is now working well. From beginning to end, the project took nearly 7 months. It should be noted that Axia does not do their own installation; they hire local contractors. They hired Solar One to do the installation at my house. Shortly after I posted my original review, I was contacted by someone from Axia. She was very nice, and apologetic. Of course at that point there was little sho could do. However she did fix one thing: They had started charging me about a month before the system was working; she arranged for me to get a 2 month refund. That was a very nice gesture. She also informed me that the entire customer support staff had been replaced (however the person who blew me off regarding the repair was one of the new people). When the first heavy rain hit, my roof leaked; the location was directly beneath one of the mounts for the solar panels. I went up on the roof; one of the mounts looked like it had a small void in the sealant. I slathered it with roof-patch; that fixed it. While it was only one of the many mounts that was leaking, that was one too many. Although Solar One is to blame for the installation mishaps, Axia did choose them.
