William Kalif

On November 14, 2017, I arrived for my annual 6 month Naples vacation. My TV had distortions; it worked perfectly when I left Naples last April. I called Summit. An appointment was arranged for a technician November 22nd between 10am to 2pm. He adamantly said the TV was no good and not worth repairing. It was a large Samsung I paid $1543 for. Since I believed the technician and did not want the expense hauling it to the dumpster, I gave the TV to a local workman named Gilbert Maldorjado. The same day, I went to Costco and bought a smaller Samsung for $424.00. I paid someone to bring it to my condo and set it securely on a stand. ($30.00) A Summit technician came to set up the TV December 20th between 2 and 4pm. He said the TV, bought in its original sealed box, is defective and not functional. Again I incurred expenses returning the TV and additional expenses bringing another new one back to my condo and set it on its stand. ($60.00) I refused to call Summit for a setup when I discovered the original TV that I gave away to Mr. Maldorjado worked perfectly without repairs. Your technician November 22, 2017. said this $1,543.00 TV was no good and not worth repairing. I finally had television January 9, 2018 when Summit sent Amber to me. In 20 seconds I had TV after a two month wait and innumerable expenses sustained from Summits incompetent technicians. The TV worked for only a couple of days and I then called Brent E. who arranged for another technician; and I now have TV. I want to be reimbursed for Summits disgraceful incompetence.
