Spire Pest Control

I was very impressed with the service I received. The Tech, Cameron was very polite and professional. He introduced himself and told me he was with Spire Pest Control, then went to work on the exterior of my home. When he finished he asked me if there were any other areas of concern and I told him we needed the inside treated also because we are seeing an increase in the number of spiders inside our home. Cameron did a thorough job treating both the inside and outside of our home. When we are scheduled for service again we want Cameron to be our tech. Hold onto him he is a keeper.

Mark our technician was very professional and arrived on time. He was very friendly and addressed out concerns in a professional manner. He was well educated on the produces that he was using and explained everything. We was definitely impressed by his professionalism, and the initial service. We look forward to working with Spire Pest Control, and will recommend their service.

I am very satisfied with the service I received from spire. Agustin was the technician that came to my home, he was on time, thorough, and very knowledgeable, he explained everything to me in detail answering all of my questions and concerns. Spire hires the best and most professional technicians.

We had a positive experience. We googled pest control and they had the best reviews on google. They were pleasant on the phone when we called so we scheduled the first visit and we were pleasantly surprised they actually showed up on time and did a great job. We are happy with our experience.

Horrible customer service. They take your money and never show up. 3 times they set the appointment and did not show up. Have had them for 3 yrs and they have never once asked to come in my home because you never know when they will show up! They took my money and never performed a service. When I complained They canceled me! And kept my money! They are scammers and horrible people! Buyer be ware.

POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS BEWARE! A Spire salesperson came to my home and offered what sounded like a great benefit and value. I was told that they could start the same day and that if we ever had any issues with pests, they would come back out to re-spray as many times as it took. So because of this, I signed an agreement. It's been 3 months of still dealing with pests and I am just now being told that it takes up to 14 days for their products to work and that if we do encounter pests we have to wait 10 to 14 days after they come before someone from Spire would come back to spray. At no point did the salesperson mention this, and nowhere in the contract does it state this. Had I known this, I would have declined using Spire Pest Control. I was told by a representative from Spire in Orlando, that because of the poor pest control, transparency and accurate information given by the salesperson for Spire that it would NOT be an issue to waive the early termination. I asked to speak to the owner and was denied that by the CFO. My account has gone to management, and I am being told I would need to pay the $250 plus this month's $49. In the end, Spire is NOT a value or benefit. I am retired army and decided not to have to deal with Spire sending my account to collections as I have medical issues that I am currently dealing with.

Bottom line up front, look elsewhere. Buyer beware! Literally everything is a bait and switch and they use deceptive sales tactics that I didn't even know existed. Let me explain. -I have recently retired from the military and now reside in Poquoson VA. I was in the market for pest control and went with Spire because the previous home owners had them. Because of this reason, the salesman promised to waive the initial setup fee. They waived only $200 of the $250. -I decided to go with their termite plan. It was explained to me that it was an annual one-time payment plan annually in the totals of $499 for year one and $325 every year after. It is more expensive the first year because of the set up. Not only did they run my card for $540, they are also now charging me the $325 on top. I had asked the salesman numerous times if I was only going to be charged $499 and he answered "yes" every time. This was a lie. I got a call from the operations manager from headquarters yesterday stating that this was a mix up and that I would not be charged the $325 until next year. I literally just got a text message from the company stating that my account is now $324 overdue. -My plan includes quarterly treatments for common pests. The salesman was trying to push an additional mosquito fog treatment and I was not interested. The salesman offered to include it into my first quarterly treatment for free so I can make a decision on it. The technician came and fogged the yard. I was charged for the fog treatment that was supposed to be free and now it is stuck on my contract. -It has been 3 weeks since my quarterly treatment and I still have ants in the house and fresh mouse droppings in the crawlspace. I called to schedule a spot treatment (included in the plan free of charge) and I was very clear that this is all I wanted. This company scheduled me for another quarterly treatment and were prepared to charge me for it until I set the record straight. I have text messages to prove this. -This company makes you sign contracts on scratched up iPads and the documents are never fully in view. -I have submitted a BBB complaint on this company and the operations manager (as stated before) agreed to take off the mosquito treatments, refund the portion of the $325 due next year for the termites and we continued on with our lives. She said I could call her directly at anytime if there are future problems. I have attempted to contact her this morning when I got the overdue account but no answer. In summary, their products are not effective and everything the salesman pitched to us was an outright lie. The company responded to the BBB by essentially saying that I signed the contract and to suck it up. I will ride out my obligation for the next year but then I am out and never looking back. It would be absolutely foolish if you choose this company. They have no regard for their customers, or veterans, and treat them very poorly. I am warming you, do not touch this company with a 20 foot pole. I will attach screenshots of the text exchange.

Service was superb, quick and well done around the house and anyplace we requested. Cash was very kind and helpful, he even suggested a few things to fix in the attic.

This company is dependable and follows through on what they say they are going to do! Always great communication, service, and RESULTS!!!!
