Comprehensive Treatment Plan

The Hawx Pest Control treatment plan consists of the following steps:

  1. Inspection — Your Hawx technician will inspect your property (including foundation, perimeter, yard granules, and eaves) and tailor your plan to your specific needs.
  2. Establish a thorough barrier — Your Hawx technician will establish a barrier around your home to prevent pests from entering your home.
  3. Target nesting areas — Each service will target nesting areas around your home.

If you are pleased with your treatment service, Hawx offers free re-treatments.

Extensive Pest Control Coverage

Following a free inspection of the property, Hawx Pest Control offers a full suite of quarterly service treatments ready to tackle any pest problem:

  • Ant control — includes solutions for Argentine ants, fire ants, sugar ants, and carpenter ants
  • Bed bug control — including treatments for adult bed bugs, nymphs, and eggs

The Hawx technician will then set traps and bait at strategic locations — taking care to set them only in areas not accessible to children and pets. As a recurring service, Hawx Pest Control will continually re-bait and reset traps until the rodent problem is eliminated.
  • Mosquito control — Another recurring treatment, Hawx Pest Control’s mosquito service includes a detailed inspection of high-risk mosquito breeding grounds around the home including standing water areas not actively used by wildlife. The technician will sweep these areas with a fogging machine as well as a rotation of different products to prevent the mosquito population from developing a resistance to these pesticides. Hawx will also provide a knockdown treatment prior to outdoor events to ensure a pleasant outdoor experience.
  • Termite control — Hawx employees are specially trained to identify signs of a termite infestation and termite damage. Hawx Pest Control employs the Advance Termite Bait System to eliminate entire termite colonies from the inside. We called because we have ants. The tech came out and had a broken sprayer and said he would come back the next morning. Apparently, we had to call for that, but he never told us. When I called, the woman on the phone kept acting like it was a new house call. I kept trying to explain the tech just said he would come out that day (Friday) but she wouldn't schedule me for anything before Wednesday. I asked for a supervisor, she said someone would call me that day, no one did. My husband called on Monday and couldn't get someone to come out until Tuesday. That guy knew nothing of the service call from before. He sprayed and it was still a month and a half before the ants were gone. They are still trying to get into other areas of our house. No one tried to look outside for an ant hill or anything, despite the tech saying they had probably disturbed one with the last spraying and that's why the ants were coming inside.

Roaches for worse. They were servicing my home and in laws home where I am living. They would spray and I would not see roaches and when it was time for them to come back there were more roaches. My home on Teel St was infested with roaches and I was paying a fee every three months. I ordered a product from Amazon and for the first time I am seeing dead roaches.

I have several issues with Hawx. I leave my back gate locked. I ask that I get A call so I can Arrange someone to be there to unlock the gate. The last few times I havent Had my backyard serviced because nobody bothered to knock on my front door. Second, several visits ago whoever did my service didn't close my back gate. My dog got out. This isn't good. She doesn't like small dogs or things that run. Fortunately we didn't have an incident. However, if an incident were to have happened it would have been extremely costly and what if something were to have happened to our beloved pet?

I have not had the best experience the past few months. They set up an appointment with me and the employee then went to my neighbors house and not mine. My neighbor received my service. I had to call and get it rescheduled. The past few times they have come out, the spray doesn't seem to be working and the areas that I need done, don't seem to get the attention it needs. They also do not seem very knowledgeable about the bugs that I need sprayed for. Whenever I show them the bugs and ask them about it, they have no idea what I am talking about.

I had previously got a "quarterly service one time plan" and they charged me 5 times and refused to refund it. Saying it was part of the one year quarterly. But their is only supposed to be 4 service. Then on top of that every time they came they had to come back as it didn't work well if at all. To this day it never worked. Ant still came then. And they prob come less nownwith my maintenance then they did with theirs.

Their product only worked for a few months, once the next bug season came around they were all over my house and I constantly had to have HAWX come out and do another treatment. The techs were never prepared, I requested several times for the inside of my house to be done and every time the tech would arrive unaware that the inside needed to be done as well. Customer service is horrible and rude. This company is a shame.

I have asked since the first treatment to please plan to come when I am home. Every single time, the technician will call and say that they are in my area and want to come at a different time. I am fairly certain my back yard has never been fully treated. I have a dog door and no one every calls to make sure I am home to close the dog door. Often, my son's dog is here and if they truly come in the back yard to treat, that dog would not allow the intrusion, therefore I am certain the back yard has seldom been adequately treated.

Each week after the technician leaves I have more ant beds, more wasps, etc. Active technician came by yesterday (I have video) and saw what he thought was a home that hasn't had pest control in over a year! Last technician stated he couldn't remove a honeycomb because the space it was in was too small. What's the point??

The service did not work. When I tried to cancel they tried to hit me with a huge cancelation fee from a contract. Which I had no idea. They don't tell you about cancelation fees or that you do have a contract. Again service did not work on the bugs and mosquitos. Not happy at all with service and how they are sneaky with the contract and fees.

Buyer Beware. If you are considering Pest Control do not go with this company. They are liars and do not do the actual work, but then send you a text saying they did. When you call them out on it and cancel because you still have hordes of pests running wild in your yard and house, and you know they never did the work because the gate was closed the whole time, they then charge you another $199 cancellation fee. You are out numerous hundreds of dollars with nothing to show for it. They are dishonest and leave out essential details when selling you their product. They have sales people going door to door who are not the actual service men. Then when there is a problem because they have actually broken the verbal and written service agreement, they rely on legal documentation that sidesteps the facts of what was discussed with the salesperson and the service that was never deliver, so they can screw you on the way out again with a ridiculous cancellation fee that was never even mentioned in the sales pitch. Just put Hawx Pest control on your never hire list.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but my experience with Hawx Pest Control has been nothing short of a nightmare. Working with this company has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences of my life. I was initially lured in by a persuasive young salesperson who promised better service and greater convenience compared to my previous pest control provider. Unfortunately, I couldn't have been more wrong. Hawx is supposed to provide quarterly services and offer additional visits when needed. However, they completely missed one of the quarterly visits and consistently failed to show up for multiple appointments I scheduled afterward. Almost every time, they either didn’t come at all or missed the four-hour appointment window, making it impossible for them to address the main issue I hired them for—spiders in my basement. The last straw was yesterday when I took time off work for a scheduled visit between 8 AM and 12 PM on September 16th. Not only did they fail to show up, but they also didn’t bother to inform me of the cancellation. Hours later, I received a random text informing me that my appointment had been rescheduled for October 7th, nearly three weeks later. Hawx Pest Control has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They have repeatedly wasted my time, neglected their contractual obligations, and left my home untreated despite paying my bills in full. Do not make the same mistake I did. Avoid Hawx Pest Control at all costs. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and a complete waste of your time and money.

HORRIBLE. DO NOT SIGN UP! So a salesman showed up at my door over a year ago. I explained that I already had a pest service. He told me that he would give me a low one-time fee for a single treatment for our bushes that were outside of the area the other service treated. I signed up. Then nothing for over a year. A month or so ago, I have a tech arrive at my door and tell me they were there for our regularly-scheduled service. I told them they were mistaken, and that I had another service. They told me to call the office and get it straightened out. Then I get a guy calling, telling me that I had signed up for multiple services, but hadn't had them performed because they were cancelled every month (NOT by me BTW, except for that last one). He argued and argued saying that I had to fulfill the services - even though I didn't need them. He admitted that the fine print states I was contracted for 12 months - which was over. I was working, and had to go but let him know I would not be paying. Last week they charged my card over $300. Absolutely pathetic customer experience; they clearly do not care about their customers, are completely mismanaged, and can't keep track of their own customers and agreements.

I would of put a negative score but it won't go any lower than 1. This was the worst service I have ever received. Morgan was extremely nice and offered to cut the cost of a monthly service. Likewise they threw in multiple services for free. Sounds great right? It was horrible. I had to have them come out multiple times over the course of 3 months and the problems never were fixed. No, it wasn't roaches or anything due to being nasty or infested, it was scorpions, yellow jackets , millipedes, and spiders. I asked the sales rep Morgan if there would be a cancelation fee if I was unhappy with the service, and I was assured that there would be no fees or anything, but he doesn't know of any reason why I would be unhappy. Well, I was unhappy the first tech who came forgot to do the services. To cancel I was informed I was lied to, and its 200 to cancel after I was laughed at by the first rep. He was very disrespectful, and told me that I only had two options. Either keep the service at a discount of 50 a month and one month free, or cancel and have a 200 charge. I asked to speak to someone who could help me and his response was, " It could take 72 hours or longer if I receive a call back at all from one of the managers. After persisting he finally put me on the line with a manager( She claimed to be one anyways), she said the same thing and that if I can't prove he lied about the fee then I would have to pay it or they could sue or put it against my credit. Bot were incredibly unprofessional. It was one of the worse business experiences I've had to go through with a company. 100% would not recommend, and If asked I would steer anyone who asked me to someone else.

I signed up for Hawx pest control services on May 16th after a representative came to my door. After much discussion and questions with the Rep., I specifically asked the Rep. about the cancellation policy as many pest control companies have no problem canceling within 30 days no questions asked. The rep’s response was the same which was 30 days. I was also given a complimentary mosquito treatment for signing up which supposedly lasts 90 days (complete LIE) for free and if I wanted to add the Mosquito service after 90 days, then I would have to pay for it. Since I signed up for the service, I had to call the company (Hawx) 3 times to come back and re-do the service as I have not seen any improvements, in fact, the mosquito issue was even worse to which they responded that they cannot do anything about the mosquito since I don’t have the subscription for that. I reminded them that the rep. who signed me up specifically told me that the mosquito service lasts for 90 days, and I only took the service 2 weeks ago! They refused to perform the mosquito service. I was very frustrated by the wait time on the phone every time I called so I requested to cancel my subscription to which they responded you can only cancel after 3 days and now you must pay a $199.00 cancelation fee. I reminded them That I was told specifically by your agent that I can cancel within 30 days and not 3 days and the guy told me that he is only following procedure and doing his job and that there is nothing he could do. That’s ironic how some people and companies are dishonest to make money and go to the extent to cheat people out of their hard-earned money. Their business ethics and integrity are in question. SLAM THE DOOR on these guys. PREDATORY sales tactics. Hawx salespeople are the only pests in my front yard I need to worry about. I blame myself for not reading the fine print, but this was their plan the whole time. As a new home owner, this will be the last time I'll be tricked into signing a contract from a solicitor at my door. They pull you in with a low introductory rate, but you'll wind up signing for a six month contract that extends into the next year. Their website is difficult to sign into to attempt to find out your own account info and if you call to cancel, they will transfer you to another department. Of course I had to wait forever for them to answer. But I wasn't done yet! After reading so many other bad reviews, I was prepared to be taken advantage of just one more time before closing my account. After the predatory sales rep offered me a lower rate of $80 a month and I declined, I was informed that I'd be incurring a cancellation fee if I were to end my service "early." My other option was that I could have them visit just two more times and we'd be done. Hell no. I'm not going through this cancellation process again. I'd rather lose money. I told him, "Lets just go ahead and move forward with my original plan." "Schedule your services?" he responded. I said, "No, I'll pay the $195 (wtf) cancellation fee and be done with it." Guy couldn't believe it, but he said "Okay, your account is closed." But it wasn't yet because he didn't have my card on file that I had removed, which he had not realized yet! Another predatory sales tactic to keep stringing me along. After giving him my credit card info, my annoyance with Hawx Pest Control was finally over. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable mosquito control service and give these CLOWNS the cold shoulder the next time they ring your doorbell looking for their next victim. They're out for blood more than the ankle biters are!

I am not a fan of there policy or service. There are several things I do not like about there service. They come out when they want to. This is a problem since we have animals that walk the yard and potentially they are exposed to pesticides that could and have made them sick. We have not had any animals die but I really do not like them showing up unannounced. They do not consult you before they spray your yard. This is a problem because they may put on more pesticides than what is needed. Yards change with the application of they pesticides and insects move. If they consulted with the owner then they could find out what they need to look for or what to change in the application of pesticides. They do not allow you to skip months. This is simple, why spray when not needed. Putting on more pesticides is bad for the environment and the home. They have an over-inflated valuation on there service. This is a little harder to explain. The simple example is that they only come out once in a while but charge you every month. They they pesticides are so expensive that you are paying for service even when they do not show up. They have early termination fees. You may feel you no longer need there service but whey will keep charging you until the contract is up or you give them there $200. The family has had more health problems since using there service. The people that are there to fix problems have no empathy and laugh at you. I cannot say strongly enough how much I dislike Hawx. I would suggest to everyone to avoid them. If you do need pest control and you have no choice BE SURE TO CANCEL SERVICE BEFORE THE 30 DAY EARLY TERMINATION PERIOD EXPIRES.

Hawx Pest Control is one of the most expensive pest services available in our area. They claim to give prompt personalized service. My experience with their service and corporate maze was terrible. The technician never returned my calls. The corporate office is electronic and does not empower their people to make decisions in the interest of the customer. It took me months to speak to anyone about the issues with my account. They lock you into a contract that bills monthly and is strictly enforced even when they do not answer the calls or provide service they promise. It does not seem like they care about the customer experience but they certainly are adamant about getting your money. You can expect to pay about $200 per 20min visit. They make promises they do not keep. When it comes down to solving any issues, they are not willing to own up to their short comings. They love to blow their own horn on how great their service is. The service was probably the worst I have had from any company. I recommend staying away from them.

I got asked by best company to write this via email, but the timing is right because I’ve had a horrific experience with Hawx. Very friendly door to door sales, but was misled. What was said did not match the contract, and charges were for multiple services and cost 2x plus what was discussed. Service also didn’t work, didn’t come the first time we asked for warranty service, and my dog became ill after each application, despite the product being said to be pet safe. Customer service is terrible, they will charge you $459 to cancel, and no leadership on LinkedIn I reached out to will respond either. Stay away—they have almost a 1000 bbb complaints.

I signed two contracts with Hawx pest control: one for the treatment of pests and another for treatment of moles. In the prior 9 months Hawx has been to the property twice and missed 4 of 6 mole treatments and 1 of 2 quarterly pest control treatments. Given the irregular service intervals, the pest / mole control provided by Hawx is ineffective. I have be forced to hire a second company. Recently, I called Hawx to cancel the service and was informed that I needed to pay an ~$500 fee for early contract terminations. Hawx failed miserably to provide the agreed upon service and frankly breached their contract. Will not use again and will not pay a cancellation fee for services they don't actually provide. I will note, however, that all of the technicians were polite and professional.

I've tried so hard not to cancel this company but this was the last straw. After scheduling issues for the past year or more I had enough when they said they would come out to get rid of a rat in my attic same day 01/10/2022 that had been there decaying over the weekend. After calling them and asking why they rescheduled me for the next day 01/11/2022 they responded with well that is what we have available. There a dead gross smell in my closet coming from the attic and they will not work with me? After I asked to just cancel all services they still insisted that I pay a $75+ difference even though they hadn't completed the whole treatment and they had been slacking in scheduling even for the first rat that died in their trap. What a dreadful company!!!

Worse pest control company EVER. I noticed on the review board, Hawx only has positive reviews. Beware! Someone or think is getting rid of the negative comments. 1. When we signed up the price was $30 cheaper than what we were paying. When we canceled they told us we have pay the discount back. We didn't get a discount. We were told the price we paid was the on going price for services. Hawks are shady people. 2. We never saw a reduction in the pest, especially the fire ants... we had more spiders inside using Hawks than we did with our old pest control company. 3. They never called ahead of time and would just show up. We were about 3 months behind in being service. Call Orkin person control if you want a REAL pest control with great service.

Kid comes up to me one day while I am working on my truck and Sells me on pest control. I know we have black widows and I agree to service. I told this nincompoop, as he went on and on , that I cared about 2 things. Kill the spiders , and don't let the dogs out. To be fair spiders are gone, but closing the gate was too much to ask. I watched the video and I am baffled to understand how a grown man can be so apathetic, and show such great talent of carelessness. He shrugged his shoulders, and left. My dogs are pack brothers , raised to guard my house and family. Together they weigh 250 lbs, an imposing sight by design. They are well trained and sweet, but will not back down if threatened I was at work when my wife called to tell me the tail of the open gate, and the village idiot. She got on next door, and I drove around looking to mitigate my exposure to litigation. 2 hours later a post on next door stated that 2 large dogs are locked in a yard, and animal control was on there way. I spent 3 minutes on the phone with hawx explaining that they were fired, that I had video of their incompetence, and expected full recompense. As it turns out, I was able to retrieve my dogs with out incident. My card was charged by this company of walking dummies, 2 more times. 8 months later I finally got to talk to the manager, who in his infinite wisdom called me to set up my next visit. I told him that his services were cancelled on 11-25. due to his companies proclivity for insanity. I will not call the office and participate in their delusional refusal to stop bothering me. I noticed another charge to my card. I have cancelled my card, initiated a dispute with the fraud unit, and have sent them a certified letter demanding that they cease and desist. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS OUTFIT OF CRIMINALS. My next complaint will be with the BBB. Posting this may convince one person to the true nature of these thieves. The truth is that the hundreds of dollars embezelled by them was money well spent if they continue to stay away and keep their mayhem to themselves.

After 3 months the product was killing plants, shrubs and flowers. call to to cancel ,charged me $398.00 . DONT TRUST them unless you got money to just give away.

CANCELLED ACCOUNT IN MID JULY. NOW HIT WITH EARLY TERMINATION FEE OF $200 EVEN THOUGH THE CONTRACT WAS DONE. THEY DON'T HONOR THIER SIDE OF THE CONTRACT BUT I HONORED MINE. CRAPPY SERVICE. FIND ANOTHER SERVICE.

Be aware of Hawx Pest Control. They are in the Murfreesboro area preying on elderly residents. Their representatives intimidate the elderly forcing them to purchase unneeded or unwanted pest control contracts. They personally pressured my mother, who is visably ill and not competent to make these thypes of decisions, into the purcahsing of a contract. When I contacted Hawx they refused to cancel the contract even though they have not provided any service to date. I would give zero stars if able. Next stop the media.

Signed contract for quarterly service beginning June 2023. Received service that day but they never returned. I'm working and away from the house during they day and did not realize they were not doing at visits. When I called in May 2024, they admitted that they had not done the service and promised a refund. A month later, they broke that promise and refused to provide a refund. How can they take $$ for work they didn't do and sleep at night? No integrity. Stay away from these crooks!

Worst Experience Ever: We had a wasp problem at our house and signed up for yearly service, they send a tech out that was allergic to bees... Then they did not come out for 7 months and they refuse to hold up their end of the contract. I cancelled my agreement and they only refunded me 2 months out of the 8. They are not organized, professional, accountable, and customer service has been awful. After 11 months I have had zero service and nothing to show for the money they would not refund. Not an ethical company BEWARE!
