Florida Pest Control was founded by Dempsey Sapp Sr., in 1949 as a retail garden store that offered pest management services. Today, the company is no longer a garden store, but still offers premium pest management services. The Florida Pest Control family has over 500 members, including graduate entomologists and professional technicians. Florida Pest Control is a member and actively supports the Florida Pest Management Association as well as the National Pest Management Association.

The worst pest control company ever, it's not even close. They are crooks trying to take your money and I do not recommend anyone to contract with this company. I contracted them for one year and while paying I told the representative that I would like to pay for the whole year and what the amount will be. He told me the amount which I immediately paid. To make sure I asked him again and he confirmed that that's for the whole year. A month later a start invoice that I owe them some money and that I need pay they back. I tried to reach out resolve the matter and they just gave me round round saying that the representative did not mean what he said and have to pay the money or else they will place my account to collection which they did. This is a highway robbery and I never thought this would have in this country. What a shame!

I have had Fl Pest for the past 4 years and am very pleased with the service. Proof is in the pudding: my lawn looks great and has every day since I hired them. When I had a question or problem (fungus after a summer of heavy rain) they were out promptly to diagnose. Reading the negative reviews here, I think the problem is maybe localized to the particular office the reviewers have used. Here in The Villages/Ocala area, the service has been great. And I don't have any bugs in my house, so apparently that pest control is quite effective.

I own a restaurant and use Florida Pest Control for my pest control and prevention needs. I have not had any issues with pests since using this company. They spray the kitchen areas, customer areas, and also the area outside the back door where the dumpsters are and deliveries are made, during which the door is open for a little while and bugs were coming into the back area. Since Florida Pest Control came out, I have not seen a single insect inside or in the back, which says a lot in Florida. They also helped with the rats that used to get into my trash areas at night. Good experience and will continue to use.

All Florida Pest Control are professional and courteous. They always text to set up a convenient time to treat my home and arrive when they say they will. I recommend this company to anyone looking to manage ants and other home critters.

Paid out $600 for a NON-Guarantee for the services rendered (very stupid). Afterwards, we had no idea if they had sprayed chemical or just plain water... no proof of having done anything to guard against termites for our new home. Had there been an infestation after their treatment, they offered nothing to compensate us or do repairs for any termite damage... stay away from Florida Pest Control!

In the beginning they were great, then to terrible, the employees are always changing a different person, I went months with my my quarterly maintenance, I would call about ants, spiders never received any service that I paid for. I do not recommend this company .

Very unreliable. Have a pest problem and they did nothing to help me. Very expensive on the poor yard service. Complained servals time and got nothing but excuses. Did not investigate what the problem is.
