Stewarts is a three-fold home service company in Utah, offering pest control, lawn care, and tree spraying services. Stewarts operates in Salt Lake, Utah, and Davis counties.
Stewarts targets several Utah pests, including the following:
Pest treatments wipe out bugs in the home, then form a bug barrier to keep them from coming back. If bugs do come back, Stewarts will return between scheduled treatments free of charge.
Stewarts has a degreed horticulturist on board to adjust the company’s custom lawn fertilizers each week. Stewarts uses five different weed control products over the course of the season in order to control weeds most effectively.
The six-week service program involves fertilizing the lawn, eliminating weeds, preventing crabgrass, and eliminating grubs. Stewarts can also spot-treat for sod webworm and other lawn issues.
For tree and shrub care, Stewarts has ISA-certified arborists on staff, so you can order an arborist visit to perform a thorough yard analysis and treatment plan. Tree and shrub care services include fertilization with a custom blend of iron-rich fertilizer applied to the root zone of your plants.
For serious cases of iron chlorosis disease that causes yellow shrunken leaves, Stewarts can bypass the root system and inject nutrients directly into the trunk.
Stewarts also treats for insects, mites, and borers that destroy trees and shrubs.
The company is transparent about pricing details, which we see as a big draw in an industry sometimes riddled with hidden costs.
Stewart’s special offer pricing listed at the time of this update is $95 per pest control treatment with a pre-payment of four treatments for a home up to 4,500 square feet.
For tree and shrub fertilization, treatments are $79 for up to 2,000 square feet. Only two treatments are needed for tree and shrub fertilization for a given year.
Stewarts does not treatment for animals larger than rats, so if you have raccoons or other wildlife problems, you’ll need to hire a different company. Stewarts does not tackle bird problems either.
The company doesn’t list pricing information for its six-step lawn care service, so if you want to compare it to lawn services elsewhere, you’ll need to call for a quote.
