The first person that came was great. She was friendly and professional. However, the next people who came to check the rat traps didn't even check the trap boxes, they just looked at a few of the regular traps. Each service person who came out gave us a different story, and so we requested an area manager to come out. The area manager told us that we didn't have rats because rats don't dig holes. Well, we caught one, and our neighbor caught 8, so we know that we have them. But he made us feel stupid and that we didn't know what we were talking about. I tried calling customer service, and they told us that the pest control and rat service was guaranteed when we signed up, but a customer service agent later told us that the rat service was only guaranteed for one month and not a year. They aren't all on the same page .

I contacted this company because they said they used products that are not lethal to other animals. After some confusion with the contract, the company did respond. My suggestion is to clearly explain the contract at time of purchase. The business manager's response to another customer's complaint says: "we are always very thorough about the sign-up process. We go over the agreement with you, have you sign it, and send you copies of everything. There are four different sections that we go over, and each explains the servicing and scheduling." That is a total lie. No one went over the agreement, no one explained, no one sent me a copy.

In trying to proactively initiate my first ever treatment with Edge, I talked to 5 different people being transferred several times and also being told twice that I would have to be ‘called back because that department is busy on another call’. When someone did show up to do treatment (after I was told I would need to be available from 12-4pm for their arrival) and then that guy was only there to do mosquitoes and that someone else would be showing up later for my other bug treatment! Totally inconvenient! After a call back to headquarters we got it sorted out. It shouldn’t be this complicated when a potential customer is looking for service! Not a great first impression.

A rep from Edge came to our home and although we were considering looking for a new provider, we informed him that we were happy with the company we were with, but we'd be willing to listen to his pitch. We were impressed with the sales pitch and decided we wanted to help out this rep. We then discussed pricing...The quarterly price was $30 more than we currently paid. When asking if they would meet our old price or do one treatment for free to see if it's worth the switch, we were then told that he would not be able to meet any competitor pricing or offer us a 'free trial' or anything. Not super impressed with that modeling. Most pest control companies are very similar, so why would I spend $120 more per year for potentially the same frustrations I was currently experiencing?! Not worth it, but giving 3 stars because I did think the salesman did a good job and was very personable.

Overall happy. People behind the phones.... hmmm. Sometimes kinda rude and insulting especially the last one I talked to!! Most Of the technicians are great. Had one that was ‘training ‘ another. And I was trying to show them the inside areas that needed to be treated and the trainer just kept talking like he was trying to distract me Didn’t appreciate that.

Up until yesterday Edge service has been average. A couple of the techs spent about 10 minutes with a little pump sprayer. Until Justine showed up. She's a pests worse nightmare. She was on her hands and knees checking everything, rolling over boulders and findings hidden nests. She laid out a ant trap minefield, dragged a 250+ foot hose around our place carpet bombing every escape route and used an extra insecticide for our ant invasion. She is amazing.

Still not sold on the mole situation. Have heard different stories from various servicemen that have been out here. Again, need to have all on the same page. Only mole caught was by my dog and I am paying $200+ for not sure what.

3 yrs with Edge. Service has been OK. Have to call for AM or PM preference to insure inside is done, otherwise skipped. First year include granular or liquid treatment to yard. Now considered an extra but cost did not change. Insects reappear occasionally as next treatment is due. Techs are friendly.

We would really prefer to find a pest control business that did not make you sign a contract. Edge was satisfactory the treatment seemed to keep most insects/bugs away but I did not really like being locked in for a year. I was able to find a cheaper option and have seen the same results. Not a bad option but is more on the expensive side from what I have found.

I had a EDGE rep come to my house. I live right by a field. They told me that their product was the only one that will effectively keep spiders out of my house. But, after I declined the service, the saleperson became pretty aggressive saying that I was not making a smart decision. I didn't like that.

Overall I am seeing results with regard to some of the pest control. I don't feel like I know what they have done on each visit. I don't have much contact and miss when they come. Most of the items are outside, but we have had traps and needs inside that I think they don't do because I miss the visit because I am at work etc.

We use Edge and have had a satisfactory experience. Seems a bit overpriced and I wish they would schedule times when they could come inside. I don't want to have to catch them every time. Whenever I have issues, they come right back and take care of it, but I'd prefer it to be done right the first time.

I like that these guys are natural, but dont' love the idea of killing every insect in my yard. I'd rather introduce natural predators to the noxious bugs

The idea sounded great and at first they did a great job. But like most pest control companies we ended up with very little done each visit. And almost impossible to get them to spray inside.

I have edge at my house. The techs are nice and it seems like a clean, safe product which is why we went for it but we still see quite a few pests around
