  • Home Protection Plan
  • Broad Service Area

  • Covered Pests

Home Protection Plan

Fox Pest Control's Home Protection Plan is its year-long pest management service guaranteed to keep the home pest free or your money back. The company's licensed and trained pest management technicians will service the home during each of the four seasons following an initial treatment, and will return at no charge to the homeowner if concerns arise between regularly scheduled treatments:

  • Spring (March–May) — a Fox Pest Control technician will treat doors, windows, and siding before applying a protective liquid and granular barrier around the home's exterior. The company will also service unfinished basements, garages, attics, crawl spaces, and other potential hot spots in and around the home.
  • Summer (June–August) — to provide continuous protection against insects and rodents, Fox Pest Control will apply another protective barrier around the home as well as around the doors and windows. The company will also inspect for wasp or bee nests as well as spider webs around the home.
  • Autumn (September–November) — preventative protection is then applied around the exterior, including a close look at potential entry points for insects trying to find access to the home ahead of the cold winter months.
  • Winter (October–February) — Fox Pest Control will examine cracks and crevices in bathrooms and kitchens as well as the garage area for common household pests and termites.

The Bad

  • No NPMA Accreditation
  • No Wildlife Control

No NPMA Accreditation

Fox Pest Control does not appear as yet to hold accreditations from the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), which awards pest management providers for their outstanding professionalism and use of eco-friendly products. While the lack of NPMA accreditations is no indictment on the level of service customers should expect to receive from Fox Pest Control, they can sometimes be a difference-maker for homeowners comparing multiple pest management providers.

No Wildlife Control

Fox Pest control does not appear to offer wildlife control or removal services beyond rodents and snakes. If you find your pest problem to be related to bats, birds, or raccoons, you may need to consult another provider to get the help you need.

Don't Trust this Company! I have been a Fox Pest Control Virginia client since 2019. Shortly after starting my service, they billed me for a Home service when the Tech never came to my house. I removed auto payment from my account and they fixed the situation. In June 2024 they came to my home to service my termite stations. The Tech removed all the stations from the front of my house and several from the right side. I contacted Fox, asked why they removed the stations and provided pictures of the home location and the hole in my yard. A different tech arrived and her comments seemed to agree that it was an issue. The Termite Mgr contacted me and said I had 3 missing stations from the left side of my house. I took pictures of those stations and their home location and forwarded them to customer service. A few days go by and Marquel, the Termite Mgr called me and argued that I wasn't missing stations in the front but in the back. I have tried to resolve this issue multiple times and finally canceled all my services. The manager called and stated they were canceling my termite. service but wanted to keep my normal pest service. A week goes by and I am still being charged $340 for a service where they removed a 1/3 of my stations with no explanations. So, you get bad service and you have to pay because "The service is not guaranteed." Use them at your peril.

Ron came today to spray the outside of our house and fill the 4 black boxes with poison. He was very professional and answered all our questions since we are a new customer. I will be requesting Ron as our technician going forward! Great job Ron.
