Bug Bully CEO Samuel Rogers started his company after being bitten by poisonous spiders during a home remodel. Bug Bully is based in Salt Lake City and treats properties from Salt Lake City to Logan.
Bug Bully offers year-round protection against more than 70 Utah pests, including the following:
The company has certified organic pest control options, including garden-safe baits and insecticides derived from the natural repellants of plants and flowers.
Bug Bully’s bed bug control includes a free 6-point inspection process to locate bed bug hiding spots. Technicians use liquid, aerosol, and dust insecticides, as well as heat tents when necessary. To break the bed bugs’ egg cycle, you’ll get an initial treatment and a follow-up treatment seven to nine days later.
The cockroach extermination program is specifically designed for Utah’s Oriental and German cockroaches, each of which have unique habits, living conditions, and treatment plans. Inspections are free and the initial treatment can start as low as $149. Thermal imaging scans find hidden roaches and dust and aerosols flush cockroaches from voids in your walls. Bug Bully also uses tri-blend liquid treatments with a combination of twin pesticides and a growth regulator.
Bug Bully’s rodent control targets mice, rats, and voles, all native to Utah. Technicians will inspect your home, including thermal imaging scans where needed, to find rodents’ entry points and then place tamper-proof bait stations made in the United States. Once you own your rodent control stations, they are yours, but refills cost $65 as needed.
Bug Bully does not employ salesmen, so you won’t be bothered by representatives coming directly to your home. The company also uses in-house customer service reps rather than foreign call centers, and you can call or text 24 hours a day.
Bug Bully doesn’t make you sign a contract, so you won’t be stuck paying for a recurring service year-round. Some pest control companies employ tactics like cancellation fees to hold customers hostage, but not this one.
Bug Bully does not treat animals larger than rats, so if you have raccoons or other wildlife problems, you’ll need to hire a different company. Bug Bully does not tackle bird problems either.
The company doesn’t list pricing information for most of its pest control services, so if you want to compare it to pest control services elsewhere, you’ll need to call in for a quote.
Bug Bully stands out from competitors by offering multiple, customizable treatment options and not requiring a contract. The company recommends treating your home or business four times a year, but is upfront about customers having success with two treatments per year. Just call or text Bug Bully when you want your property treated.
This type of transparency, coupled with sound customer service practices, is the kind of communication we like to see in a company. We recommend it for that reason.
