Covered Pests

Berrett Pest Control provides treatment for wide range of unwanted pests:

  • Termite Control — Using the Termidor HP™ System, Berrett creates an external barrier around the home that is non-invasive to the property and prevents termites from getting in. The company’s Total Termite Control Home Warranty Plan means if termites reappear after the initial treatment, Berrett will address the infestation for free.
  • Bed Bugs — Berrett’s thorough bed bug treatment plan eradicates bed bugs at the source. The company’s knowledgeable staff will create a customized plan to ensure their goal of “No Bugs, No Bites.”
  • Cockroaches — In addition to kitchens, Berrett Pest Control will search for roaches, particularly German Cockroaches, in “bathrooms, crawl spaces, basements, foundations, porch crevices, and walkways.”
  • Bees and Wasps — Berrett Pest Control provides comprehensive prevention and removal of all stinging insect colonies, hives, and nests. The pest control company can provide immediate assistance with bee swarms or clusters.
  • Mosquitoes — The In2Care mosquito trap covers an area up to 400 square feet and not only eliminates adult mosquitoes, but also mosquito larvae. Berrett Pest Control is currently offering a $49 initial treatment deal for mosquito treatment.
  • Spiders — Berrett’s expert team will look for and treat for spider problems, including cobwebs, nests, and other signs, in the home’s crawl spaces, grass or wood piles, garages, and decks.
  • Ants — Berrett Pest Control identifies entry points, potential scent trails, nest locations, and other evidence of ant infestation.
  • Rodents — The pest control service examines attics, garages, holes, and other potential entry points for mice, rats, and other rodents.

Low Starting Price

Although pricing figures in the pest control industry are largely held back until the company can make a true assessment of the home’s needs, occasionally, companies like Berrett Pest Control will provide homeowners with starting figures to give them an idea of how much the treatment plan will cost. In this case, Berrett Pest Control’s essential services start at $99, which is relatively low compared to other leading companies that can charge hundreds of dollars for the same treatment.

Interior/Exterior Service

Berrett Pest Control provides a thorough inspection and treatment of the home’s interior and exterior. Not only will the company apply its products in the home’s hard-to-reach areas like the attic, crawl space, and under the deck, but Berrett will also treat the lawn area for hot spots and fire ant nests.

Service Area

Berrett Pest Control offers its services to residents and business owners in the following cities:

  • Houston, Texas
  • Dallas, Texas
  • Austin, Texas
  • San Antonio, Texas
  • Fort Worth, Texas
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Colorado Springs, Colorado
  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Not only does the company have offices in these locations, but Berrett also demonstrates a high level of local expertise concerning the pests common to those areas. Customers can look into verified Berrett Pest Control reviews to determine the company’s service quality in their city.

The Bad

  • Limited Wildlife Control

Limited Wildlife Control

Although the company mentions “Wildlife Control” specifically on its website, it only appears to cover small rodents like rats, moles, voles, and mice. The company's use of the term “wildlife control” may be somewhat misleading. Top pest control companies like Terminix provide wildlife control that covers larger animals like raccoons, birds, bats, deer, and more.

The Bottom Line

Berrett Pest Control has been helping customers rid their homes and businesses of unwanted pests for over 20 years. With locations spanning three states and a wide range of covered pests, the company has distinguished itself as a true expert in the field. Customers in search of basic pest control that doesn’t go beyond issues with rodent-sized animals are encouraged to seek out Berrett Pest Control for a quote and initial inspection.

Laura Richards

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I called today and spoke to a person named Andrew. He was not honest with me about several things: 1. I asked him if they were a local company. He said yes and we have another office in Colorado Springs. FALSE their corporate office is in Houston 2. I called to talk to him about rats and ONLY rats. He told me that they have boxes and we put them in our yard. I asked about the safety for our pets and he said that it is 100% safe for pets._FALSE 3. He told me that the cost is $199 and then $44 for the next 4 months to make sure the problem is taken care of. NOT ONCE DID WE DISCUSS ANYTHING TO DO WITH ANYTHING EXCEPT RATS He told me he needed a card to secure the technician coming out, which has been more common these days, our vet requests it because they have been having so many people cancel or no show. Did not seem shady. SO the tech gets here today and he is great. He asked me so what am I here for today? I explain to him. He said that the poison is absolutely not okay for dogs. They can't get in the box but if they eat a rat that has the poison they could die. He also asked about spraying for bugs and spiders. I explained all the above to him. It was not the technician's fault He was great and very helpful. He was not given the correct information. He said you probably talked to a sales person. I was lied to and I just want anyone who is considering this company to NOT WORK WITH THEM. NOT HONEST. Just trying to get you locked into something without clear information. I talked to Melissa and explained all this to her and she was wonderful and very helpful. She let me know that with rodent issues they have an inspector come out for free first to asess the situation and determine what your needs are. SO ANDREW FLAT OUT LIED TO ME. NOT A GOOD WAY TO DO BUSINESS.

They had the best prices and were very responsive to my requests. If I needed them to come back out to spray for additional pests, they would. Great company! I highly recommend them!

Another Pest Control company that I've used and didn't see a real benefit. What I liked most was there availability. I could get them to come out soon after calling but I do not know how effective their services were.
