Lori Norden Richmond Hill, GA

we have had great luck with USAA on the bank deposit side, but the mortgage process was really bad. We were provided with inaccurate information over and over each step of the way. For example, we were told we could make a principal payment for any amount once our original house was sold. When we tried to make that payment, we were told we could only pay down up to 80% of the original loan. When I called to inquire, i was sent to a the loan processor, who told me i had to talk to the loan officer, who never replied to my email. Additionally, now that the loan was significantly paid down, we were told we could recast the loan. I have called 3x to get an application to recast, and never received it. I was also told I could calculate various remaining loan terms to determine my new payment, but am now being told i have to go to BankRate.com to calculate. I would not recommend using USAA mortgage under any circumstance.
