Suntrust

Suntrust has now combined with my primary bank, BB&T to create Truist so this review is very relevant. I looked into both BB&T and Suntrust when trying to determine which company I should use for a fixed rate mortgage. I have to admit I like BB&T more due to their transparency. In order to determine the rates for Suntrust you have to call or email the company which seems a little more suspicious when discussing a fixed rate. However, customer service was very sweet and did a great job at answering all of my questions. I ended up using Suntrust for my first home before I switched to BB&T and I have nothing bad to say except I wish there was more transparency. BB&T does a great job at displaying everything (including rates and ARP) on their website so it's easy to determine which plan you should go with.

My mortgage is currently through them and they are truly amazing to work with you on any questions
