We have our home mortgage with BB&T and they have been great so far. Setting up an online account was a little complicated. I had to call customer service and they had to fix it, but they were really helpful. Also, to change my address I had to use an automated system for some reason. The customer service rep couldn't do it for me, which was a little frustrating. But as far as quality of service goes, they are great!

BB&T has great customer service when it comes to phone support. Every time I have had to call them, the customer service agent is always very friendly and helpful. I appreciate their knowledge and willingness to answer my questions. As for their website, it is not user friendly at all. There are so many things you CANNOT do on the website that I had to call customer service several times. It was frustrating but again, the agents were always a pleasure to talk to and they immediately fixed my issue or answered my questions.

So far my experience with BB&T mortgage has been smooth with no hiccups until recently when I was switched to new loan officer since mine left. Hopefully this doesn’t mean things will fall apart, but I have confidence that I will be taken care of.
