It's small and portable. All I have to do is recharge it and wear the wrist watch when I go out. One time it was running low and the agent on the phone asked if everything was alright and I said yes I just have to charge it.

It works for a period of time when the power goes out. It has a nice big button to push and she has a wrist band she can carry. We've tested it and got rapid response from the operator.

It's always worked good. They're very alert and on top of thing and do a good job we just don't need it anymore. They wont answer me or call me back when I need to talk to someone in customer service.

If one of our residence falls they can contact us and we can come to their need. When I tested it they came on and where very friendly. They did their job well and made sure everything was ok. I'm very happy with them.

I was having a little trouble with it because it wasn't charging. I have to use a power strip to have it next to me when I'm in bed. It's ok. It's a little bit bulkier than I thought it was going to be.

Despite ensuring that as soon as the button was pressed and no response was obtained help would be sent to my home, I had an asthma attack on the 17th of Nov. It took 10 minutes for the signal to connect, not once did anyone try to call me. When the girl did connect to my monitor, she couldn't hear me but had to hear my dogs barking in the background. I was audibly wheezing and by this time and dialed 911 and had the 911 operator on speakerphone. The girl asked several times for me to respond. When I didn't, she simply said, "well since I'm not getting a response, I am going to hang up and will try to call back in a few minutes. Then if we do not get a response then, we will send help." I could have died had I not been cognizant enough to dial 911 before I passed out.

When I got the device I got a lock for the front door with a combination so someone could get in if there was an emergency but the lock didn't work. They said they would send me a new one but I have not received one and that was a month ago. I like that it comes with me so I have it close by.

When I first activated it, it worked really well but right now I am not really using it because I don't know if I need it right now. The device is good and very efficient. When it is activated, the policeman and the ambulance come and my kids were notified so it works very well. I feel like it is a good company with a good product.

I dislike the fact that it is not portable, in other words if I happen to be outside and something were to happen, the machine I speak into would be here. Also I was supposed to get two devices and I only got the necklace, not the bracelet.

My moms pendant wasn't charging and was acting erratically, lights flashing no lights etc. I called Medical Guardian and they assured me nothing was wrong even though it was acting up when we were on the phone. My Mom fell and her system did not work she laid on the floor until luckily I came over to bring her some things. Needless to say I called Medical Guardian and reported immediately, they then decided that her charger was bad and sent a new charger. We put pendant on new charger called and they checked stated all systems a go, everything working fine. 3 days later my mom went to get her mail fell out her door and laid in the hot sun for almost 2 hours because her system FAILED to work yet again!!! Called again very very unhappy, demanding money back, was promised this was a fluke apologies etc. Sending new upgrades system if there is any problem they will refund full refund. Well here's the issue, my mom apparently hit the button in her sleep, the call finally does what its supposed to do and goes to Guardian, Guardian calls me and tells me they received a call from mom, could not get a response am I going to go etc. I say of course, I live 10 minutes away. I get there, (I've called and called, no answer) I'm panicking but figuring paramedics/ambulance has gotten to her by now. I get there, everything is dark, I'm thinking no way, was it so bad that they threw her on a gurney and left. NOPE! They called NOONE!! She would have been dead if she had a medical problem and wasn't able to speak to them. They were completely neglegent, not to mention when they gave us the "new upgrade" they didn't bother to tell us that you have to take the base piece in your purse if you leave the house. The system is messed up. And how is it going to help you or save you if it doesn't work or when it does work they don't call help.

I haven''t recommended u either. 1, had I not telephoned with regards to another issue I wouldn''t have known you didn''t have my correct address, not even the correct state. 2, It wasn''t quite 1 year that I was a member and you tried to get me to upgrade, at an additional cost, to boot. I never heard of this , u r charging me to upgrade? U have got to be kidding. I asked around and everyone agreed that that was crazy. I''m very disappointed in this company. I don''t know if I want to continue being a client.

When I ordered the alert system, I specifically said I was concerned with my mom falling and nothing was said about their being a $10 charge to add fall alert. I understand this option may cost more but I didn't find out about the extra charge until AFTER I received the device.

We were not told the call to family is from 2 Florida area codes. The call was not identified as medical guardian. That call to family was assumed a scam or robo call. Ambulance came to pick my 91 year old mother out of yard. She was not physically able to get up herself did not require hospital run. We are billed 189.00 for that run. Medical gardian states they have several complaints about no ID on call return and are working to have that fixed. Been in business too long to have not addressed this issue.
