It is a blessing and a curse. My husband with Parkinsons should wear it all the time, but often refuses which makes it a useless tool. The strength of the speaker at the base unit is not strong enough for him to hear on the other side of the house. So if he triggers the system he does not even know and could result in a false alarm. My concern it that if one is in another part of the house and the fall button accidentally receives what it thinks is a fall and it takes time to get to the monitor before EMT's are called. Mobile Help is everything I had hoped it would be. As an 81 year old widow I was searching for a device that would let me keep my independnece and make my family feel I was secure at home. I initially subscribed to the fall alert pendant. I found it to be too sensitive. I could not put it on without making it send an alert. I did not like wearing it around my neck. It was bothersome. I returned the fall pendant and am using the wrist band which I find more comfortable and easier to deal with. The service has been very good. However at my home the cell signal is only one to two bars on the base so sometimes it’s difficult to hear the emergency operator.

Everything seems to work great, customer service is helpful every time we test the system and call. The fall button is my only small concern if it will work or not if needed.

Have to keep up with it constantly making sure battery pack is in charger and with you when you leave the house. When the button is pushed the voice comes out of the battery pack. If you are in another room, not sure they could hear you.

It gives us peace of mind that our dad is safer. However, the first night he slept with the necklace on, he turned over and the alarm went off. It scared him & he couldn’t get back to sleep that night. Now he sleeps with the wrist band and wears the necklace every minute he’s not in bed.

The individual who helped me get the equipment was very professional and very knowledgeable about the product. Everything works as advertised. It was easy to put together and testing was very quick. The range is very good. I don’t like that there is no speaker on the button itself.

When I was on the phone with them for a long time because I had so many questions the man I worked with was so helpful and never at any point did I feel he was frustrated with my questions. I am concerned about the cell phone coverage. I am not positive that he is able to use the mobile part because of the lack of coverage in his remote small town. It is quality and it works correctly in the house. I have never tested the mobile part. Everybody, besides one rude person, have been extremely helpful and do all they can.

MobileHelp's customer service team is really helpful. One thing I don't like about the device is that the portable unit has a blinking yellow light that bothers me at night and I have to cover it up so I can sleep. I appreciated that they came down on the price for me which was helpful.

It took my mother in law a few weeks to get used to the device and she had a few false alarms. Mobile help always texted first and when calling were professional in responding. They never were concerned that it ended up being a false alarm.
