I noticed that Achieve does not report to credit agencies. I have religiously paid on time and this should be reflected on my credit report but it does not. Also, because of my "great" payment history I would be eligible for a new rate, ONLY after they did another hard hit on my credit report and appraisal on my home. Humm... In the process of going through a Credit Union for a better rate. Should have gone with Take Charge America. Way better for debt consolidation.

I have been with this company a while now and have been treated well. what i am upset about is when I made the deal with your representive I was told 6 months of payment i would be able to lower my interest rate. When I called to do that I was told i would have to go through the whole application process over. I was not told that, this I find dishonest of the company, now the interest rate is much lower and I am paying a very high interest rate with this company. So now I have to find another company because i am not going with freedom plus if they were not honest in the first place. I do not recommend this company because they are not truthfull. Lisa Mouney

I have no doubt as to your company’s outstanding reputation. I do wish that you would have checked the other two credit bureau sources. Finance agencies tend to take the lowest score which amps up the interest rates for the loan. Experian and trans union both have me in the 700’s other than two botched medical procedures totaling 14-1500.00 , I flat refused to pay! All my payments are paid on time and much more than the minimum! The truck, the car the house, any store accounts are cart blanch no missed or late payments - none! You get to a certain age when your Name and your Credit Rating are what matters most! I do my best at protecting both, so whereas I needed the loan and fast, you executed that swiftly. I signed for it and it’s mine! Do not expect me to be elated too! I would expect this will not be posted as a review, however I do hope the content is taken seriously!

Customer service at application was very personable and relaxed. She was helpful and prompt. However, it's day 7 and my creditors or my bank has yet to receive the loan funds. They pride themselves on speedy fundings and my experience is the opposite. I was asked twice in processing for documents that the underwriter already had, which I then submitted again. I was told someone would call once the loan funds. That didn't happen and I was briefed on the loan funding when I called to ask the status. Customer service informed me that my loan funded 5 days ago and then I also learned that they had my routing number wrong. How does that happen? It's the small extremely important details that cost so many delays. People come to Freedom for the promise of fast and easy service. I would have overlooked the first couple of mistakes with processing/underwriters, but the errors at funding have me completely dissapointed. Yes, it was an easy process. I was hoping for faster service with no errors. Thanks.

The loan process is quick and more or less straightforward. Rates are high even for good credit. The process includes talking to someone on the phone more than once, which is fine. There is, however, one serious problem with this company and it is that they systematically fail to email statements, presumably in the hopes of collecting late payment fees. Another minor issue is that payments are made via ACH and take 3 business days, which is unnecessary. Overall, I may recommend this company but surely they could improve their practices.

The process was fast but they made me feel like they did not trust me since THEY would pay my loan/credit card off, not me (as other competitors sent me the money). The rates were slightly higher and as far as I am concerned any financial entity that cannot be reached through Quicken is second class. ALL first class lending institutions can be managed through Quicken but not these guys.

The approval process was about average, nothing outstanding, the fact that THEY pay off your cards/loans/etc instead of giving you the money and letting you do it might be good business but left a bad taste for me since none of their competitors do it. The WORST thing is a company this large and no Quicken support so 3 Stars is about as good as I can give it. Add that to the upfront fees payment and 3 Stars is a high mark

I liked the fact the LO worked with me to get answers about a credit issue. I was told I could check back in 3 months and refinance for a lower rate. I contacted your company and was told I could not get a lower rate. My scores have gone up and I don't have a ton of outstanding debt. Ive made all payments on time using auto draft and don't understand why the rate cannot be lowered.

I have mixed feelings about Freedom Plus. The plus side was that getting the loan was a very quick and easy process and the money was in my account fast. The negative thing was that when i applied on Lendingtree.com, Freedom Plus popped up with a very low interest rate compared to others so of course we chose Freedom Plus. However when the loan was approved it was more than double the interest rate. It was the same as the other loan companies offered. I felt it was "bait and switch" type of scam to get you to chose them. For this reason i was not happy.

All was great till time to pay off loan. I set loan up for 24 months and on the 12th month I sent payment to close loan early. They hit my account for the payoff two times and now I am $8700 owed to me and no one will answer the phone or return emails. NO live support. Beware. I thought the process and loan was great till I tried to close it and they wont respond.

I gave it three stars for the service level provided. It was super top notch and everyone has been great to work with. That said, be aware that this company is a borderline loan shark. Even with a high-600 credit score, they wouldn't budge off of the 25.5% interest rate. My $11,499 loan will cost me $18,720 by the time it's all said and done. Insane. Unfortunately I had to take the loan under an emergency situation and it is what it is. They got the loan done and funds in my account about 3 days after I signed.

I do not normally answer robocalls, but this time I'm glad i did. The caller was Sean G from FreedomPlus with a common sense pitch which fir well with my current needs. He continued to guide me through the thicket of a personal loan transaction and the deed was done in a few hours. The only drawback was the transfer of funds which took a couple of days longer than expected. But when finished, all was as agreed.

I had no problem getting my loan from FreedomPlus or setting up my automatic withdrawal payments. My complaint is that EVERY time I try to log in to my account I'm blocked with reasons like wrong username and/or password; then I call customer service and they cannot figure out why I'm being denied access and then I have to change my password AGAIN! This is very aggravating plus inefficient!!!!

I do not like my payment options it is like you are forcing me to have the payment taken directly from my account with the inconvenient ways you have in place to pay otherwise plus the service charge.

The website says funds are available 48 hours is a little misleading I am past that point and still waiting. The first contract they sent me had the wrong terms on it. And the length of waiting for approval and the constant asking for more information was annoying. One list of needed info would have made this a smooth transaction. It wasn't a horrible experience but definitely annoying. Fair at best

I had asked for my term to be changed. It's still in the funding status. Nothing was changing except for term and payment. I emailed my rep at 12:41, he called back at 1pm and said he would look into it. Called me back later on the afternoon and said he would look into it and then received an email that it couldn't be done since in the funding stage. It's still not funded so I don't understand why a change in terms can't be done. It's not that difficult. Then I was told again about refinancing in 8 mos. Why would I want to pay another loan fee?

I only gave a 6 because I originally applied with Lending Club and recieved a call from Freedomplus a few days later. I asked if they were from the Lending club and was told that no they were Freedomplus and that the Lending Club directs loans to Freedomplus when I don't meet their criteria. So I took them at thier word instead of investigating further by calling the Lending Club first. So end result was I recieved both loans which I could not afford and had to borrow money to make up the difference to payoff one of the loans. Cost me over $700.

Loan process was fine but I finally got the link to log in and look at my loan. I financed and go $16500 loan. The balance I see is $19500 or so. That means you tacked on $3000 to the loan about!!!! On top of the interest where or why is the balance that high?

Appreciate the overall service but getting ahold of somebody and getting a timely response is near impossible. We had one credit card company take us to court saying we still owed them when Freedom debt helped negotiate a settlement year’s ago. Trying to get them to help us respond to this court filing was disappointing.

The woman who helped me set up my loan was knowledgeable and very helpful. However one of my payments to my credit card company was four days late for a total of fourteen days after I signed the loan. Customer service always took more than 24 hours to reply and toward the end of that time didn’t reply at all to my lady two emails.
