Due to it being the only major internet carrier in my area, they have monopolized the wifi trade and as a result offer crappy service that CONSTANTLY goes in and out and ridiculously long wait times just to get a technician to come out. As SOON as I can change to another viable service I'm Out!!!

Absolutely the worst telecom company in existence; customer service is negligent to nil; installation techs vary from not trained for their jobs to incompetent, to include Suddenlink sub-contractors; if they have training they are incompetent; what's more, they don't care. Repeat after me, "Suddenlink, the very worst company ever."

This is by far the worst company to deal with with anything related to customer service. They will prorate your service to start but will not prorate it when you cancel. I am being required to pay for service I am not receiving for three weeks. It took three separate calls to actual talk with a person, and ended up still being required to pay.

They have charged me for service I did not receive, taken money out of my bank account without my permission, would not send me a bill though I asked for one for 6 months. If I had the money I would sue them!

I wish I could give zero stars. My bill goes up $5 every three months for no reason and if you call customer service they will just quote your bill back to you like that should clear it up. My bill started out at $95 a month and not I am up to $140 with no changes in my service. If you have alternatives, use them.

Why would anyone want an Altice/Suddenstink phone when they can not even get their existing cable TV/Internet business in order?

The internet service was horrible. It only works 2-3 days out of 7. When I disconnected my service they continued to bill me. Their cost just keeps going up every month. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with will never have their service again.

My data cap penalty was three times the amount of my monthly bill. I cancelled but still have to pay for two months of over cap plus a whole month of service, I didn't even have the equipment. Worst company ever. It's a scam, run!

Customer service is horrible and it took me 3 days to get ahold of someone that actually spoke English well enough to understand! I will never use Suddenlink again! If I could give negative stars I would. I work from home and internet cuts out several times a day and takes forever to come back up. when you call, you can never talk to someone, have to wait for call back. This is the worst service I have ever seen. I was on chat the other day for 2 hours and issue still has not been resolved.

Could understand customer service rep! Where they from - Egypt? Was put on hold and after 1 hour of being put on hold I hung up.. called back and just cancelled the TV service. It was easier than working with there customer service. What a shame - they could be a good company but choice the cheaper route of overseas customer service.

I must have Suddenlink for that is all my apartment's offer. Contacting them by phone you must wait 20 minutes or more, then you talk to someone in Dehli. Email is basically non existent. You must go directly to the office to get something accomplished. <><

they are the only game in Kingwood we have changed the phone the internet but for cable this is it--they are HORRIBLE they don't care about the customers you call they hang up on you. Go to their office you wait 2-3 hours--if you have an option do not chose them

Suddenlink will raise the monthly bill without letting you know. At first they raised $3, which wasn't that big of a deal. And then they raised it $20.. I called and they refused to bring it back down. Their internet isn't that great and it has outages at least once every month. I work from home so it disrupts me every time.

Terrible. The bill and service is always changing. A couple years ago it only cost 30 something a month for unlimited usage, now they put a cap on the GB used. So had to switch to the cheapest of unlimited. Now suddenly I'm being charged another dollar to receive my bill in the mail? Sorry greedy punks, but a stamp doesn't even cost that much.

The $39 is only for the first year. Actual pricing AFTER THE TEASER RATE is $52.44 a month and this is with me providing the modem and router. Tried to get a lower rate or slower speed; nope this is the cheapest available internet they offer.

Coverage has been fine but customer service is terrible. Going into their office is like going to the DMV- typically surly employees and can take 2-3 trips to resolve issues. Telephone and chat support has rdnged from excellent to very poor- dependent upon the two you get.
