SnapCorrect and SmileDirectClub are relatively new companies in the invisible aligner industry. However, both companies strive to provide their clients with brighter, whiter smiles.

If you’re wondering whether you should get clear aligners from SnapCorrect or SmileDirectClub, we advise you to take a look at the companies side by side. While they offer similar products and end results, there are a few notable differences to take into consideration.

SnapCorrect is a moderately priced group and you will be happy with your customer service. They will definitely do it correctly and make you happy. They are a dedicated, loyal company. I took my child there and it took 2 years to do what was necessary. I would go here again and recommend this company to all my friends.

Confusing and it's hard to get ahold of customer service so I didn't have a very positive experience honestly.

They advertise one price but then when you call to ask for that they raise the rate and say that your specific needs dont fit what we advertised. I paid for it for about 3 months and then quit because I didn't see results like they guaranteed I would. The charges are separate for the impression kit, however the Customer service is very nice and helpful. That's why I have 3 stars instead of 2.

DETAILS

I ordered the teeth whitening kit, and after a few uses the light stopped working. I called to get a replacement and they refused to send one. I attempted at being a "Karen" and asked for a manager, then I was told there is no one else to speak to and I'm out of luck (so that customer service rep was the CEO???). So their equipment doesn't hold up for even a single WEEK, they refuse to replace it, and customer service lies to you.

The Final Word

SnapCorrect and SmileDirectClub are going to be cheaper than traditional metal braces and both companies offer several different payment options in case their clients can’t afford everything upfront. Although, if you’re looking to purchase just the treatment package and want to pay the full amount upfront, SnapCorrect is going to be cheaper by about $146.

However, that doesn’t take into consideration several other factors that will affect the final price. Depending on which company you choose, you could be paying for the impression kit, retainers, teeth whiteners, and other additional or replacement products.

While SnapCorrects treatment plan is cheaper, its impression kit costs $95. SmileDirectClub’s at-home impression kit is only $49.

While you may be paying more for the impression kit, you’ll get your first set of retainers for free with SnapCorrect. Keep in mind that if you need a replacement or additional retainer, you’ll need to shell out $99 per set. SmileDirectClub also charges $99 for retainers, but unlike SnapCorrect, you’ll have to buy your first set.

Both companies will throw in a few free teeth whitening products along with your treatment plan.

Another thing to consider before choosing to go with either company is the average treatment time. SnapCorrect informs their customers that no two treatment plans are going to be the same and therefore determining an exact treatment time will depend on the customer. That being said, the company advertises a 9-month average treatment time.

SmileDirectClub’s average treatment time is just six months.

Overall, if you want to save a bit of money and don’t mind a longer treatment time, SnapCorrect might be a good option to look into. But if you want a company with a few more years of experience in the industry, cheaper impression kit, and a shorter treatment time, SmileDirectClub is the better choice.
