I am wearing Invisalign now! It's been a great way as an adult to align my teeth and bite. After all, our kids got their braces, I thought it was my turn, and it's been great! Most people can't even tell I have them on and I have the option to take them out when giving A speech or speaking to people, and I don't want to have them in. Great product.

4 years....still not done. Still having issues. Rather have my money back. Invisalign a joke. They blame the provider. When they have fucked up trays. Don't deliver on time. I want my money back. Preparing for lawsuit against Invisalign.

They advertise one price but then when you call to ask for that they raise the rate and say that your specific needs dont fit what we advertised. I paid for it for about 3 months and then quit because I didn't see results like they guaranteed I would. The charges are separate for the impression kit, however the Customer service is very nice and helpful. That's why I have 3 stars instead of 2.

I ordered the teeth whitening kit, and after a few uses the light stopped working. I called to get a replacement and they refused to send one. I attempted at being a "Karen" and asked for a manager, then I was told there is no one else to speak to and I'm out of luck (so that customer service rep was the CEO???). So their equipment doesn't hold up for even a single WEEK, they refuse to replace it, and customer service lies to you.
The Final Word
1. How the average costs compare
2. The quality of orthodontist treatment vs. at-home treatment
Another thing to consider is the quality of impressions versus the quality of scans. Smile Direct Club has its customers take their own impressions with a putty-like substance. By having the customer make the molds themselves, this increases the likelihood of needing a second or third impression — which can delay your straightening process by several weeks. Additionally, a putty mold isn't the most reliable method for capturing exact details.
Invisalign eliminates the need for goopy putty molds and instead uses the iTero Element® scanner to get a 3D image of the patient's teeth. A high-resolution, interactive image of your teeth, taken by a professional is going to be more accurate and reliable than a putty mold.
If you prefer you can visit a SmileDirectClub SmileShop (located throughout the country) and get a 3D scan instead of making an at-home impression. This is free of charge; however, it kind of negates the convenient, do-it-from-home aspect that SmileDirectClub advertises.
3. Customer service
If you want to straighten your teeth but don't want to have to visit the dentist every few weeks, Smile Direct Club might be for you. However, keep in mind that while straightening your teeth from home is convenient, it leaves ample room for user error and complete trust in someone you've never met.
