affordable and reliable if you've had x-rays of your teeth previous to using smile direct. They did cut into my gums and irritated my tongue frequently. I also have a gap now on the sides of my teeth, and they did not effect straightening my very back molars. Very happy with the results though.

It was a little inconvenient in the beginning, but became easier as time went on. I loved the fact of how fast my teeth were improving in such a short amount of time. If I had to do it all over again I would have gone with the night aligners.

The product actually worked well for me. I've worn braces in JHS, but one I took them off leaning towards college my teeth started to space out drastically. Smile Direct helped closed the spaces and straightened my teeth. It's so beautiful and I'm going again! And I hope my smile can remind this way throughout time.

I finally finished my 5 month process while smile direct. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5. My teeth are definitely straighter but the process was so quick that if I don't have a retainer in my teeth shift. Once you finish all of your aligners be sure to order your nightly retainer because you WILL have to wear that at night otherwise your teeth will shift. The only reason I'm not give smile direct 5 stars is because the customer service is slow getting back to answering your emails.

All was well with my treatment and service was good. I did, however, order retainers in advance as recommended to find out once my treatment ended that the order never processed. I had to wait 4 weeks post-treatment for my new order to go through and for my retainers to arrive, which was agitating considering I did what I was supposed to and ordered early.

I followed the treatment plan and am pretty much satisfied with my decision to give SmileDirect a try. My biggest complaint is not getting any communication / feedback regarding how I was doing during the treatment compared to visiting a traditional office / staff. The could only compare my treatment progress to the 3D image provided before treatment started. Other than that, SmileDirect met my expectations with responding to my concerns by email and phone throughout my treatment.

Totally happy with process and results. NOT happy that account dashboards are removed as soon as retainers are ordered for the first time. I would still like access to see my before pics and to make it easier to order retainers. It's like being ghosted as soon as you finish treatment. Annoying. But overall, I had a successful experience and would recommend to others.

The convenience and ease of the program is well worth the price. The aligners were often shaped in ways that cut into my mouth and made wearing them very uncomfortable at times. I trimmed them as instructed but sometimes it did not help. I talk a lot at work and this was my biggest challenge. However, the product did work in a reasonable timeframe and I am very happy with the results.

I had an amazing experience with Smile Direct. Results were given. As a former ortho patient, my expectations were were beyond met. I give it a 4 for the simple reason that the trays had to be adjusted time to time. They seemed hand cut, to where at times they would cut my tongue and I would adjust them with a scissor. But for someone with no dental experience, this would be a major problem adjusting to these trays.

The experience was professional, however the support, follow up, and results were not as expected. The 3D scan was not how things turned out, and the final retainers took 9 months to arrive. So I was using my final aligner which was supposed to be for 2 weeks, for 9 months because Smile Direct Club opened in China. My aligners to begin with were jagged and tore up my gums. Wearing the final aligner was very painful, and to not have the results that were shown was very upsetting.

My review is based on the customer service experience. I went in for Nighttime aligners because doing the Daytime aligners (22 hours per day) would not suitable for my lifestyle. I made this very clear when for the exam. However, I was not informed once the dentist had reviewed my case that I did not qualify for the nighttime set; instead daytime aligners were readily sent to me with no prior warning to give me the chance to accept or refuse this option. I was very disappointed that I couldn't work with what was sent so had to send it back. It took 3 calls and 3 emails to request a refund (return label) and process the return (Dec 14 to Dec 31). The first line of customer service was always pleasant and empathetic. The Account Managers not so much I received confusing information (what was discussed on the phone versus follow-up emails), and had to reach out again and again for clarification. I'm glad it's all finally resolved now.
