The entire process was very easy. My wisdom teeth ended up being shifted and I don't think my teeth shifted as well as they would've had I been told I needed them removed before starting.

They boast a straight smile cheaply and conveniently. My teeth aren't straight and the retainers left one of my front teeth discolored. At the end of the program they wanted me to pay $400 for more retainers/over 4 more months still with no guarantees that my teeth would end up straight. They aren't directly answering my question about the discoloring I've noticed since wearing the retainer. They boasted convenience but this has been one huge headache. Save yourself time and money. Take care of your teeth and use a different provider. At the end of this program I am left feeling concerned about my teeth and their overall health.

I finished my treatment with them, overall I got good results but less than a month after I finished, my teeth started to move back to the initial position. I purchased their retainers and the guy who took my scan told me that they had lifetime warranty if I ever wanted to fix that issue (they recorded the appointment so I'm assuming there's proof for that) but then, when I called again to ask about the lifetime warranty they told me, they said that it wasn't true and that I had to pay $45 dollars per month for the aligners AGAIN. I didn't mind, I wanted my teeth to look good for my wedding... so I went back for my THIRD scan and they told me that I should hear back from them in 5-10 days. It's been 15 days now and I haven't heard back from them, and whenever I try to call to their customer service line they keep hanging up. Terrible service.

I give SmileDirectClub 2 stars because the aligners did help some with straightening my teeth but around the 3rd month the aligners weren't fitting right. I wore them like I was suppose to. Sent in picture midways and was told I was on track. But the aligners fit worse and worse. In the end the retainer they sent did not fit at all. I couldn't get anyone to reply back when I tried to contact them.

I had to wait 8 weeks to get my retainers. My bottom retainer made a huge space in my middle lower teeth. I don't wear it. I'd rather have them slightly imperfect than a huge space there.

The only bad experience I had was that a few times my weekly aligners were not correct. I would either get two bottom aligners or two tops. I just kept using the one from the week before.

The system itself worked great but the outsourced customer service is terrible! I was sent the wrong person's retainers and have spoken to over 5 different people (one month later) and still am waiting for my correct retainers. The outsourced service people have zero problem solving skills minus the scripted emails. The call in people were zero help and sent me the same scripted email. It needs work and people that can make actual decisions instead of just read off a script.

Some of the retainers I had to cut to fit because they dug i to skin. The retainers, after I was finished with the program, fit only on the top - not even close on bottom and I wore mine religiously!!! I'm wearing the last tray as my retainers. Waste of $99.

My teeth moved into place initially but I have had two separate experiences where my teeth moved away. I am on a two month extension based on the the failure of the first 6 month treatment. Again, I am almost finished but am experiencing movement that is throwing my alignment out of whack.

They did a decent job, however they are unwilling to acknowledge some obvious issues I have with my teeth. They were willing and proactive to provide refinements for a gap that opened up, but they are trying to convince me that a space in my bite is normal. I am now seeking the advice of an orthodontics office.
