My experience has been okay. The aligners were great. My only issue is trying to speak to someone. The customer service was not great. If I am paying for these aligners and if I have a question I should be able to speak to someone. I have been “accidentally” hung up on. I have heard many different excuses. I am currently still waiting to hear back from them. I was supposed to be finished with my aligners in December. It is now currently March. My teeth weren’t feeling right. So I called to see what they can do about it. I was told I would receive an email and I could take some pictures and they would review them. Well I never received the email. I had to call three more times. By then I was fed up and demanded I had an appointment so someone can physically scan my teeth again. Turns out a lot of my teeth were not where they were supposed to be. So they submitted for an aligner touch up. And I would receive more aligners until my teeth are where they need to be. I was told I would hear back from them in 3-5 business days. It has now been over two weeks. I have used the chat on their app to communicate with them. And each one of them said “another 3-5 business days”. I am very annoyed. I have paid for this and I am not getting what I was promised. Still currently waiting. I will probably have to reach out to them again!

I loved the convenience of doing everything from home and getting them for free, not only one but two trays! Since I messed up the first one. But I didn't care too much for the tray experience itself but I loved the 3d of the actual shape of my teeth before and the after picture! :] There will still be a small gap in the top of my teeth and I'm wondering why that won't be closed?

Pros: Love the immediate email response after submitting good impressions. Cons: Hated the non-response after submitting double impressions. 2 months after sending my impressions back, there was still no response, so I called to check on the status. Seems I made a double impression, but nobody let me know until I called 2 months later.

I messed up my first impressions for my top teeth but they reassured me that it was normal and gave me the opportunity to try again. The process has been much more pleasant than any other experience before.

I am now halfway through my Smile Direct Club experience. Are they improving? I guess so, but there is still one tooth that will need an awful lot of movement to match their projected smile after 5 months. For the rest they seem to be falling into place, but I guess we wait until the end. I am getting used to earring these aligners, but cannot say that it is fun. Sometimes they are painful as they dig into the gums, which is usually alleviated by some careful clipping, but mostly they are frustrating, and talking with a permanent lisp is no joy either. The highlight of the day come three times when I remove them for eating. the teeth tingle at first, but settle quickly, and it is hard to let the moment go and get the aligners and put them back in. Sleeping is fine, and I get the feeling that the best work is done then. Would I recommend them? Hard to say at the moment, but I didn't like the idea of visiting the orthodontist every 2 weeks, so this seemed a better idea, and more cost effective. I am quite old (63) and din't care too much but the mouth was getting more and more awkward and it seems like time to finally get this done. I am hoping I can write a 5 star review in 3 months.....

I am 2 1/2 months in of a 7 month process. I am so pleased with the results thus far. Right on track with what Smile Direct provided. I have no issues with customer service at all. I have a friend that did Invisalign’s and she has had more issues with her aligners than I have. I can’t wait to see the final results 😁

I have had a great experience with Smile Direct Club. I've wanted to straighten my teeth for 20 years, but with a crazy life and limited income, it seemed impossible to get set up with a orthodontist and go to regular visits. Each switch of aligners would irritate my tough for 12-24 hours, but nothing that was super irritating. I got a great and timely response to getting off schedule with changing my aligners. I couldn't have had a better experience changing my smile to the one I've always wanted.

I have been using SmileDirect since February, with hiccups vary similar to the ones listed. During my last month of aligners, I started noticing gaps between the aligner and my teeth as well - to the point where I knew they were doing absolutely nothing for my mouth. Up until this time, I didn't have any major issues, however I knew my teeth were not going to be complete after the last aligner. After talking with Customer Service, they asked for pictures. I went back and fourth with them for DAYS, as they kept saying they hadn't received the photos, or that I didn't take pictures of my bottoms....when I don't even have bottom aligners (shows how much they paid attention to my case). After a rescan, the worker at the local office instantly noticed the gap the minute I opened my mouth, and said that although it is advised to keep wearing them until the new aligners come in, to just not wear them since they looked terrible and were doing nothing for my teeth. I was told to contact a Customer Service agent immediately after my rescan, to let them no the situation, with hopes they will get the aligners to me as soon as possible. During the call, I was told the aligners will take 3 - 4 weeks, and that they would do what they can for them to arrive faster. After a month with no aligners, a literally called everyday, and was told that they're in process and that they had a lot of orders blah blah blah. So, after 2 months of waiting, I finally got the aligners. 1st month fit great. Started month 2 week 1 on Saturday - and I am seeing the gap again. I am going to hold out this week and see how week 2 fits, but I have to do this process all over again I am literally asking for my money back.

Easy way to straighten my teeth. Love getting everything in one box. When I had a issues with one of my liners and I was able to email them and get a response on how to handle the problem within minutes and it was on a weekend which was amazing. Only reason I don’t want to give 5 stars cause I haven’t completed my full 6 months and haven’t seemed the end results

In 1 year she had a beautiful smile. She smiles all the time now and isn’t self- conscious about her smile. Overall my experience was satisfactory. Quick responses to my requests. Such as mailing me their impression kit, easy-to-follow instructions to make my impressions, and facilitating the return of my impressions. The turn-around for my custom-made aligners was less than a week. Slight snag though. The many emails from them confused me. One email had me send in my own impression and another had me schedule an in-person visit. I ended up doing both when I only needed to do one. However, the in-person visit cancelled the mail-in impressions. I also received my gift card and the teeth-whitening kit as promised. In the end, at the council of my significant other, I did not move forward in the process. I recommend using Smile Direct based on my overall experience. Especially for my in-person experience which was pleasant and efficient. The technician answered my questions and got me in and out in a timely manner.

My experience with SmileDirectClub was a positive one, however, I decided to consult with another aligner company that had actual follow-up visits with a face-to-face dentist involved.

The pricing its very affordable compared to the other companies. 2. The speed of production on the product. I ordered the kit for the Smile direct club. I chatted with the company and they answered all of my questions. I even had the kit sent to the wrong address, my mistake, and they sent me a new one at no additional charge. I like that the cost of the kit ($20) is secured from the tots price of the treatment so the kit ends up being free. This company was the best priced company for invisible braces, but I ended up not using this company because retainers did it come with the package and was going to cost extra. They do have many positive reviews online.

I’ll give smile direct 5 stars because the retainers did exactly as advertised, just I hadn’t read it fully to understand exactly what they did. The retainer 100% straightened my teeth and made my smile better than it was, and likely saved me quite a bit of money in the long run doing a lot of the upfront work, but after finishing I realized it didn’t do everything I needed so I did get a second company to finish, but way cheaper overall to start with smile direct.

As someone who never got braces as a kid because of financial reasons, SmileDirectClub has been a life savior. Although my teeth were not overly crooked, they sent me a retainer to wear that has highly straightened my smile. Love them. I would recommend this though only if you don't have major problems with your teeth. So spacing issues and so on. If you have major issues braces would probably work better but otherwise try this. I love this cause I don't think I look good in braces and I get the same treatment for a lower cost and I looked better doing it. Customer service is great and I got to complains.

I went for a consultation, they took my pictures, but then 3 weeks later, I had to call them to ask them where my things are, and I was told I had to take more pictures for my fitting. I said I should be able to come in for them to fix my pictures or retake pictures, but I was told no that I can't do that.

The entire experience was unpleasant. I paid upfront before I even received my goods and they trays didn't even fit. I called and was told it would be five weeks before receiving replacements but was still being charged! No thanks. I returned the product.

the way my retainers taken by 3D not matched with my tooth. And I have returned and re ordered for onceagin but no one is taken care yet and no proper response from smiledirectclub team its really not a way to treat to patients.

I didn't get any type of phone call to let me know i needed to first see a dentist and then they tell me that they will return my call and I still haven't received a phone call back explaining everything to me and that was 2 months ago already
