The aligners are great. Customer service however kills the entire experience with this company. They can't find my account, even after I give them all of my information. They have deleted my account multiple times, making me have to call and wait over 30 minutes for them to recover it than they say it was never deleted. And when you refer a friend to help them save money on their aligners, Smile Direct never sends you the gift cards they promise. Such a waste of time.

Because when I met with my Dentist, he told me that my teeth were too small to get the results I was looking to get with SDC so it really made me feel like SDC just took my money instead of being honest and admitting I wasn't a great candidate for it.

I'm having to do the aligners again and it caused one of my bottom teeth to sink down. It isn't even anymore, so although it helped with some spacing, it created another issue I never had.

I'm on the fence with the service I had a few issues it seemed as if all my aligners where off my smile isn't completely fixed it left one of my front text crooked customer service never got back to me still to this day. I also still don't have any instructions on how to properly use the whiting kit. Very poor customer service

I had numerous issues from the aligners causing opened areas on my gums to not getting replacements in a timely fashion that is not getting them for 4 weeks. I took the initiative to after I didn't get it for 2 weeks to go to the next level. Whenever I got the replacement it was for week one. I was at week 8! i had to trim every aligner with my my nail scissors to keep them from cutting my gums. I ordered a retainer to keep my teeth in place and I haven't received that yet. I completed the treatment in Janurary,

Thanks for leaving us a review, Doris. While all aligners are trimmed and buffed prior to being shipped, the fit of each aligner can be unique to each individual. We sometimes may suggest trimming and filing the aligners in certain areas that cause more discomfort than others. I received my retainers late, and when I received them they did not fit. Not to mention my bottom teeth did not straighten so I went to have my teeth scanned again, and when I received the new alligners they didn't fit at all. So I should be done with my treatment but it wii probably take another 3 months due to inaccurate alligners.

However, the customer service after my first screening appointment was terrible, I have yet to be able to contact anyone after a half dozen attempts. While the product is great, the experience trying to communicate with the actual company is a nightmare.

I did the program for 6 months. I have been wearing my last set for 2 months. I went to my dentist and they are now referring me to an orthodontist because my teeth are not perfectly strait and have more to go. I have emailed customer service to see how this can be remedied and I have not heard back.... I went with SmileDirect because of the time and money. I will have to get liners again and pay even more now...

I went through all the trays and my teeth are not straight like was promised. They moved but are not straight. Wearing the retainer everyday now and still I don't have the desired straight teeth promised. I wore the trays 14 hours a day. Did exactly what I was supposed to do and still just frustrated with the results.
