  • Price Match Guarantee
  • Premium Furniture Protection Plan
  • Ashley Advantage™ Flexible Financing
  • Deals and Sweepstakes

Furniture Selection

Whether you're shopping in the store or online, there are thousands of products to choose from, including the following:

  • Sofas/Loveseats/Sectionals
  • Recliners
  • Coffee Tables
  • End Tables
  • Beds
  • Headboards
  • Vanities
  • Bar Stools
  • Desks
  • Bookcases
  • Chairs
  • Dining Tables
  • Benches
  • Storage Furniture
  • Wall Art
  • Mirrors

While you can purchase individual items, Ashley Furniture offers a number of room sets. You can buy a living room set, which may include things like two end tables and a coffee table (or a sofa and loveseat). A dining room set will consist of a table and 6 to 8 chairs (depending on the set).

While not everyone will need a room set, it may be a good option for those on a budget or looking for a specific look. Room sets are generally reasonably priced and cheaper than buying individual items (depending on the items). Plus, you won't have to worry about color matching or finding something that "goes" with room sets. Additionally, ordering a room set can save you on delivery costs. Since everything was purchased as a set, there is usually only one small delivery charge (or if you're lucky and scored a good deal, there won't be a delivery fee at all).

Being the largest manufacturer of furniture globally, Ashley provides customers with an impressive number of furniture options.

Price Match Guarantee

Ashely Furniture offers a price match guarantee. So if you find a piece of furniture from another online retailer and tell Ashely Furniture, the company will match it.

However, there are a few conditions to this guarantee. Be aware of the following:

  • The product must be of the same size, model, SKY, quantity, brand, name, and color.
  • The item must be available at the online retailer's website and AshleyFurniture.com at the time of the price match request.
  • The item must be sold and fulfilled by Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Target.com, Hayneedle.com, or Walmart.com.
  •  Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Target.com, Hayneedle.com, or Walmart.com
  • Resale purchases and rain checks on items that aren't currently in stock will not be eligible for price matching.

You'll need to send your price match request via Ashley Furniture chat with a live link to the other retailer's website. Ashley Furniture will then review and verify the price match. Requests are processed after the items are delivered, and the final total has been charged to the original payment method.

Premium Furniture Protection Plan

If you have kids, pets, or move around a lot, you might want to look into Ashely Furniture's Premium Protection Plan. The protection plan includes on the spot assistance, in-home services, and product replacement. Plus, you're signed up automatically, so there are no forms to fill out, emails to send, or numbers to call. You are automatically registered at the time of purchase and eligible for coverage immediately. Overall the plan isn't too expensive, and you get five years of coverage. As with all protection plans, several conditions will affect your coverage; we recommend that all customers thoroughly go over the terms and conditions.

Ashley Advantage™ Flexible Financing

Buying all new furniture can quickly become quite expensive. If you're worried about paying for your new furniture upfront, Ashley Furniture offers Ashley Advantage™.

The Ashley Advantage™ card doesn't have an annual fee and it allows you to make smaller monthly payments for up to 72 months. Synchrony Bank issues the card and most people have a pretty good chance of getting approved. Plus, there is also no fee associated with opening an account.

Deals and Sweepstakes

Fortunately, Ashley Furniture offers a variety of deals and sweepstakes. The company has two sections dedicated to sales: Top Deals and Flash Deals. We recommend checking out the company’s flash deals since they are limited time offers (and only available online). The flash deals are also likely to change more often, so if you don’t see something you like, just wait a week or two and the inventory will change.

Ashley Furniture also offers several sweepstakes that anyone over the age of 18 can enter. The sweepstakes are fun because it gives you the chance to win vacations, mattresses, furniture sets, and more.

The Bad

  • No Custom Orders
  • Refund Conditions
  • Credit Card Drawbacks

No Custom Orders

Currently, Ashley Furniture does not support custom orders.

Refund Conditions

If you are unhappy with your purchase from Ashley Furniture and plan on returning your item, be aware of the following conditions.

If UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS delivered your item and the product was damaged during shipping, you'll need to call the customer care line within 72 hours. Once the item is received, Ashley Furniture will refund the cost of the item (excluding any shipping and handling fees).

If you're simply unhappy with the item, Ashley Furniture accepts returns of Standard Shipping items within 30 days of delivery. Keep in mind that return shipping fees apply and you'll be responsible for those (unless stated otherwise).

If you bought an item from your local Ashely Furniture store, you need to ask about the terms and conditions while you're checking out, or look on the back of your receipt.

Since each store is independently owned and operated, each has its own set of individual policies regarding returns and exchanges.

Clearance items are final sale items and cannot be returned unless they are delivered damaged.

Credit Card Drawbacks

The Ashley Advantage™ card lets you finance all your Ashley Furniture purchases, but you can only use it at an Ashley Furniture store (and online).

The card offers an introductory rate of 0 percent on new purchases for 6+ months, depending on the promotional play and your qualifications. If you pay the full amount on time, this is a good option. If you struggle to make payments on time or are unsure if you can make the total amount, we suggest not getting the card. If you miss a payment (or don't pay in full), the interest payments will be retroactively applied to your original purchase amount.

The Ashley Advantage™ card also has a fairly high APR (29.99 percent). Currently, the average credit card APR is around 16 percent.

Also, keep in mind that when applying for the Ashley Advantage™ card, Synchrony Bank will pull a hard credit inquiry, which will affect your credit score.

The Bottom Line

Overall, Ashley Furniture has a lot to offer. With a commitment to value, large selection and customer satisfaction, this company has made its way to the top of the furniture industry and is ready to serve you with your furniture needs. We like that the company offers several features alongside its merchandise. The company's Premium Protection Plan is a pretty good deal since you get five years of coverage for a reasonable price. Also, if you're worried about paying for everything upfront, you can apply for the Ashley Advantage™ card for a flexible payment plan. However, there are a few drawbacks to the card, and we suggest doing your research before applying, especially since it will affect your credit score.

We made a purchase and with that purchase we were talked into a warranty . Paying extra as what we did the merchandise was not worth what we gave it was a bed in a box. Almost 300.00 for this ottoman type thing . One of the legs broke upon it not sure how this happened but it did of course they denied fixing it . The warranty was useless and I'll never get another one for furniture again. So first they refuse fixing so it did not get used so you were allowed 75 dollars if not used well they said it was store credit . But couldnt usevit for that either . So I'm not sure what the warranty is for but obviously it's just a way for them to get extra money in their pockets and out of mine. ##nomorewarrantiesforus

The last time I bought a lot of furniture, I went to Ashley. The customer service was phenomenal, and they gave us a great deal on all of the tons of stuff we bought. They made it super easy. However, we did have an issue with delivery. They brought some of the wrong items, and then said some of the items we had purchased were not included. We had bought a dresser with a mirror and were told the mirror was included. The guys who moved the furniture told us it was not. When we called, they said we were mistaken. It was a bit disappointing, especially considering we had spent well over $10k there.

Bad quality furniture and bad customer service. The bedroom set I bought from Ashely’s scratches way too easily. The wood on the bookshelves are falling apart from the weight of the books. The couch fell apart, was repaired by them, only to fall apart again FOUR TIMES. When I went to get the couches repaired, they told me I was out of warranty or out of the service area and generally gave me a hard time. I only had the couch for four years before I finally gave it away. Their prices are low but not worth all the hassle. I’m not happy with Ashley’s furniture.

Ashley Furniture does have a wide variety and somewhat cheap prices, but the quality of their furniture is poor and their customer service is even worse. After only one year, the couch I bought from them started to fall apart. I called to schedule a repair many times, and it never happened. They are very flaky and unreliable. For the price, the couch should have lasted me ten years and it lasted 3. Barely.

Delivery took almost a month when told two week. Furniture was damaged. It took them almost two weeks to respond. Then said we will order you another piece to replace the damage. Still haven't seen anything as of yet. It's been over a week.

Despite sitting on the exact couch we wanted in the store, they still managed to send us the wrong color. We had to refuse the couch upon delivery. When we called up support, they said the color that we wanted was at least 2 months on backorder so we canceled and they held on to our money for another week before refunding our money.

I recently went in to Ashley and was disappointed to find that there was not one item I would consider buying. I was looking for a fairly simple sectional couch. They are not up to date with current styles and they quality doesn't seem up to par. Everything is very outdated. I will not be returning.

Bought a sectional from Ashley and have been really disappointed with it’s quality. It wasn’t a cheap couch either. The cushions started sagging quickly and they made the couch look old and cheap. I was hoping for more with a several thousand dollar couch.

Customer service is mediocre at best. Great looking furniture but not meant to last. Everytime I’ve purchased Ashley it hasn’t lasted more than two years before needing to be replaced.

Really out of date, traditional and boring furniture. Mass produced products that look tacky. I wouldn’t recommend shopping here.
