  • Premium Furniture Protection Plan
  • Ashley Advantage™ Flexible Financing
  • Deals and Sweepstakes

Furniture Selection

Whether you're shopping in the store or online, there are thousands of products to choose from, including the following:

  • Sofas/Loveseats/Sectionals
  • Recliners
  • Coffee Tables
  • End Tables
  • Beds
  • Headboards
  • Vanities
  • Bar Stools
  • Desks
  • Bookcases
  • Chairs
  • Dining Tables
  • Benches
  • Storage Furniture
  • Wall Art
  • Mirrors

While you can purchase individual items, Ashley Furniture offers a number of room sets. You can buy a living room set, which may include things like two end tables and a coffee table (or a sofa and loveseat). A dining room set will consist of a table and 6 to 8 chairs (depending on the set).

While not everyone will need a room set, it may be a good option for those on a budget or looking for a specific look. Room sets are generally reasonably priced and cheaper than buying individual items (depending on the items). Plus, you won't have to worry about color matching or finding something that "goes" with room sets. Additionally, ordering a room set can save you on delivery costs. Since everything was purchased as a set, there is usually only one small delivery charge (or if you're lucky and scored a good deal, there won't be a delivery fee at all).

Being the largest manufacturer of furniture globally, Ashley provides customers with an impressive number of furniture options.

Price Match Guarantee

Ashely Furniture offers a price match guarantee. So if you find a piece of furniture from another online retailer and tell Ashely Furniture, the company will match it.

However, there are a few conditions to this guarantee. Be aware of the following:

  • The product must be of the same size, model, SKY, quantity, brand, name, and color.
  • The item must be available at the online retailer's website and AshleyFurniture.com at the time of the price match request.
  • The item must be sold and fulfilled by Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Target.com, Hayneedle.com, or Walmart.com.
  •  Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Target.com, Hayneedle.com, or Walmart.com
  • Resale purchases and rain checks on items that aren't currently in stock will not be eligible for price matching.

You'll need to send your price match request via Ashley Furniture chat with a live link to the other retailer's website. Ashley Furniture will then review and verify the price match. Requests are processed after the items are delivered, and the final total has been charged to the original payment method.

Premium Furniture Protection Plan

If you have kids, pets, or move around a lot, you might want to look into Ashely Furniture's Premium Protection Plan. The protection plan includes on the spot assistance, in-home services, and product replacement. Plus, you're signed up automatically, so there are no forms to fill out, emails to send, or numbers to call. You are automatically registered at the time of purchase and eligible for coverage immediately. Overall the plan isn't too expensive, and you get five years of coverage. As with all protection plans, several conditions will affect your coverage; we recommend that all customers thoroughly go over the terms and conditions.

Ashley Advantage™ Flexible Financing

Buying all new furniture can quickly become quite expensive. If you're worried about paying for your new furniture upfront, Ashley Furniture offers Ashley Advantage™.

The Ashley Advantage™ card doesn't have an annual fee and it allows you to make smaller monthly payments for up to 72 months. Synchrony Bank issues the card and most people have a pretty good chance of getting approved. Plus, there is also no fee associated with opening an account.

Deals and Sweepstakes

Fortunately, Ashley Furniture offers a variety of deals and sweepstakes. The company has two sections dedicated to sales: Top Deals and Flash Deals. We recommend checking out the company’s flash deals since they are limited time offers (and only available online). The flash deals are also likely to change more often, so if you don’t see something you like, just wait a week or two and the inventory will change.

Ashley Furniture also offers several sweepstakes that anyone over the age of 18 can enter. The sweepstakes are fun because it gives you the chance to win vacations, mattresses, furniture sets, and more.

The Bad

  • No Custom Orders
  • Refund Conditions
  • Credit Card Drawbacks

No Custom Orders

Currently, Ashley Furniture does not support custom orders.

Refund Conditions

If you are unhappy with your purchase from Ashley Furniture and plan on returning your item, be aware of the following conditions.

If UPS, FedEx, DHL, or USPS delivered your item and the product was damaged during shipping, you'll need to call the customer care line within 72 hours. Once the item is received, Ashley Furniture will refund the cost of the item (excluding any shipping and handling fees).

If you're simply unhappy with the item, Ashley Furniture accepts returns of Standard Shipping items within 30 days of delivery. Keep in mind that return shipping fees apply and you'll be responsible for those (unless stated otherwise).

If you bought an item from your local Ashely Furniture store, you need to ask about the terms and conditions while you're checking out, or look on the back of your receipt.

Since each store is independently owned and operated, each has its own set of individual policies regarding returns and exchanges.

Clearance items are final sale items and cannot be returned unless they are delivered damaged.

Credit Card Drawbacks

The Ashley Advantage™ card lets you finance all your Ashley Furniture purchases, but you can only use it at an Ashley Furniture store (and online).

The card offers an introductory rate of 0 percent on new purchases for 6+ months, depending on the promotional play and your qualifications. If you pay the full amount on time, this is a good option. If you struggle to make payments on time or are unsure if you can make the total amount, we suggest not getting the card. If you miss a payment (or don't pay in full), the interest payments will be retroactively applied to your original purchase amount.

The Ashley Advantage™ card also has a fairly high APR (29.99 percent). Currently, the average credit card APR is around 16 percent.

Also, keep in mind that when applying for the Ashley Advantage™ card, Synchrony Bank will pull a hard credit inquiry, which will affect your credit score.

The Bottom Line

Overall, Ashley Furniture has a lot to offer. With a commitment to value, large selection and customer satisfaction, this company has made its way to the top of the furniture industry and is ready to serve you with your furniture needs. We like that the company offers several features alongside its merchandise. The company's Premium Protection Plan is a pretty good deal since you get five years of coverage for a reasonable price. Also, if you're worried about paying for everything upfront, you can apply for the Ashley Advantage™ card for a flexible payment plan. However, there are a few drawbacks to the card, and we suggest doing your research before applying, especially since it will affect your credit score.

They are the worst store when it comes to customer service! Delivery guys show up with my couch. Can't speak english and they hit my wall and cabinet taking a good size chunk out of the wood and dented/scratched my freshly painted walls! I call Ashley customer service and they tell me that they are not responsible for the the delivery people because they are subcontracted out. REALLY... Ashley gladly took my 1,000 dollars for the couch and then basically tells me sorry about your luck we can't and won't help you in the delivery matter!!!! THEY WERE UNBELIEVABLE AND I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THOSE SHIEST ERS!!

Arms are wrinkled so is the material on the cushions only set on it one time to ty it out. Can feel the wood under the material in the back as well as nails and big staples. The pull out sofa makes a loud noise when you set on it and the bed is not stable. Have called the company over 5 times, even tried to speak to the CEO. No one cares! My husbnd ia 100% military connected, permately disabled they do not care that this is putting a lot of stress on him. I advise everyone to stay away from Ashley they are dishonest and take advantage of people. They say they will take care of it and call you back, they do not.

I purchased a couch at the beginning of July and was told that it would be delivered in two weeks. However, it took longer and was not delivered until August. When Ashley Furniture delivered the couch, every edge of the couch, chair and a half, and ottoman were damaged. The wooden finish on the bottom was chipped off and you could tell one of the pieces had been dropped. We immediately contacted the store and they agreed to replace the couch. We have had numerous issues with them since that day. We have scheduled the delivery of the replacement couch several times. The first time I was contacted to have the couch delivered and someone called the day before it was supposed to be delivered and said they needed to postpone the delivery one week. We got a call the day before the next delivery and said they had to cancel the order because one of the pieces was not in the warehouse. At this point, it had been over a month after they agreed to replace the couch and they should not have scheduled delivery if the furniture was not ready. We did not hear from anybody for weeks. We contacted the store and spoke with managers and supervisors and nobody would ever give us answers. Half of the time, our phone calls would simply be ignored and nobody would ever respond. After speaking with the supervisor of scheduling, we made a third delivery date. After choosing the date, I told the supervisor the delivery would have to be in the morning because we would be gone in the afternoon. The day before the delivery, a woman told my husband that we were the first house and the couch would be delivered by 11:00. At 11:30 that day, I called the supervisor to find out that the woman had given us false information and the couch would not be delivered until after 1:00. I was furious and at that point just wanted my money back and for the couch to be returned, but they said they could not do that. I spoke with a woman last Saturday (November 18th) and set up a FOURTH delivery date (over two months after making the first one which is ridiculous) and scheduled delivery for Wednesday, November 28th. I was told I would get a call 48 hours before letting me know a time for delivery. I have not heard from anybody today (Tuesday) the day before our furniture is supposed to be delivered. I called this afternoon and was told there was no manager for me to talk to (like always...nobody can help me) and she could not even pull up my account to answer if they are delivering the furniture tomorrow. Here I am, almost 5 months after buying the couch back to square one with no delivery set up. Yet they cannot refund my money and take the piece of junk they ruined back from my house. Ashley Furniture has been the absolute worst company to work with. I will never buy another thing from that store again and I would never recommend them to anybody. This has been the most miserable 5 months trying to deal with these people. Even the managers and supervisors are absolutely no help.

We ordered our full house furniture from Ashley when we moved in in June 2018. The delivery of the furniture available in their shop in Main Str., Santa Ana was quick and per schedule. However, when it comes to ordered items ( bed sofa, living room table) it said delivery will be 1 Aug. in our Oder dated 6/26/2018 but when I called the sale staff at the end of July he said they have a bit delay at warehouse and delivery will be few days later. Suddenly last week I received an sms from Ashley informing me the delivery will be shifted to Aug 20 with no excuse. I called the same sale staff asked him about the reason but he again excused about delay at warehouse and promised to report to his boss to get a 50$ coupon for our next purchase. Good Gods, we just need our sofa and table and have to wait for 2 months?!! And the worst thing is Ashley staff never contact us directly to inform about the delay, just an sms and the sale staff whennerver he said he’ll get back to us we can not believe cause we always have to call him again and again and again! What a hopeless Customer Service! My advice NEVER BUY ORDERED GOODS form this company!

I made a purchase March 18th 2018 and it’s Only today I’m receiving my dinning room furniture May 10th only to be disappointed. My chairs are all stain, almost like they gave me the floor sample chairs the extension part of the table is all messed up. I’ve waited 8 weeks for this, 8 weeks where I had to keep calling the store to see what’s going on with my furniture. They were going to deliver 2 weeks ago and the delivery guy dropped my table which pushed my order to today and If I didn’t call them this past Wednesday May 8th I would have never got my furniture today. They had me down for another 4 weeks. I’m so so upset.

I bought a living room set in November. Delivery was set for mid December. The first attempt the couch was ripped and we sent it back. the 2nd attempt the same thing - ripped. They left the couch so we had something to sit on. The 3rd 4th and 5th attempt were all the same- rips in various place on the couch. The 6th attempt was caught at the warehouse and they never delivered it. I called multiple times most calls were ignored. I asked for a refund and was told all sales are final. (mind you, I have yet to receive my couch) They then offered a 30% discount to keep the ripped couch. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY SELL CRAP FURNITURE ONLY TO BE SECONDED BY THEIR TERRIBLE SERVICE

Ashley Furniture used to have good quality furniture. But now it's extremely poor quality these days. About 12-13 years ago, my now ex-husband and I bought a bed from Ashley and it was great and it lasted us many years. But when you go to the store now, you can tell they skip corners and take short cuts and make cheaper quality furniture. I won't ever buy furniture there again because I think the quality is really poor and if I'm going to spend a lot of money on furniture, I want to get what I pay for. Good quality furniture that will last a long time.

Applied to build credit.. Paid back $1100 before the year was up. Made last payment March of this year.. They closed my account even though I never missed a payment paid on time and early. Said because my other card ratio were high even though it reported a 100% on time payments for over a year. I personally Believe it's because I hadn't used the card in 6 months . If this how you reward good paying customers I don't need it

First they tried to sell me furniture for much more than website prices, then when called about cracked 40 dollar lamp from 2200 dollar order, was assured I would get a phone call from manager after two calls. Didnt happen. Emailed corp, no response. No time for games. I'll eat it and take my business elsewhere. The bigger a company gets, the more they could care less. They put more energy into proclaiming great customer service than actually providing it.

We purchased a living room set from Ashley. The couches did not hold up well. The fabric was fuzzy and dirty after a short period of time. The console tables that we purchased had cheap thin laminate so it came apart very shortly after purchasing them. We would not shop at Ashley for future furniture purchases.

Bought a table here and it has fallen apart. Had it replaced once and the new one warped also. The chair cushions have come off and the screws are falling out of them. Called the company for a replacement, because we bought a lifetime warranty. Jokes was on us, because the warranty was only for the first table. They forgot to mention that we needed to buy a lifetime warranty for the replacement. Our really expensive sectional just broke that we got there and I’m afraid to call. Never again Ashley Furniture!
