The installers were great, they put in our gutters quickly and efficiently. Only thing I don't like is that the downspouts don't come with and end cap that keeps grass out of it, clogging. Other than that it was good to go.

I’m satisfied with my leaf filters. What I’m not satisfied with is their pricing scam. They started off quoting me a cost of $9,600. After their games, I got them for $2400 . It was like dealing with a used car salesman. I still don’t know if I got the best deal.

I really did not understand the whole process the getting gutter. I at five rat thought it was the whole package gutter and cover that were warrantied. SoX I got to looking at the material my gutter itself was made out of and it is very cheaply made. I am concerned about the quality but I did get a receipt on what I paid.

Dishonest and deceptive. I called customer service several dozen times regarding an issue I had with LeafFilter system. Little did I know there was a class action judgment against the company for the exact issue I had (where they are supposed to reimburse me for expenses). Customer service never called back until the judgment expired (shocking). The calls I did receive were from their sales manager who berated me and verbally abused me. Also, their technician dropped a whole box of nails on my lawn and driveway from the roof, which caused me to need two brand new tires on my vehicle (the technician even admitted to dropping the box of nails from the roof), and yet I receive no compensation from the damage, only verbal abuse from their management.

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a home improvement company. • The salesman, Dan R was aggressive/insincere/phony. Regardless, I had done my research and was happy with the quality. • The installation team was a no show/no contact on the day they were scheduled to do the install. They did show up on the re-scheduled date, and supposedly completed the work. • I was out of the country. Just a few days after installation, my wife texted my videos of water freely flowing OVER every gutter that had been covered by LeafFilter. See attached photos. Message me on Facebook if you'd like to see the videos. • I immediately texted the salesman, Dan R, and asked him to address this immediately. • Dan's response: "Call the customer service number." SERIOUSLY: CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE??!! • I texted him a few more times, asking him to help me out. No response. • Needless to say, I was angry. I checked the bank and found that the check I had written had not yet been cashed, so I stopped payment on the check. That got their attention. • I was then contacted by Brach M, the operations manager. He assured me the "we will 100% fix those issues." • The day after I came home I spoke to Brach via phone. He said he had a service tech named Bill who would be driving through my hometown on his way back to Omaha, and asked if it was ok if he stopped by to assess the situation. • Bill was WONDERFUL! We walked around the house and he was able to identify all of the problems that existing, which included: 1. Upper gutters were never connected into the lower gutters, so the water was free-flowing over the top of the lower gutters. 2. Gutters were not properly cleaned out prior to the installation. Bill was grabbing handfuls of leaves/dirt/grime and dropping it to the ground. 3. There was one downspout that was completely blocked. 4. One new downspout they installed was never secured with screws, so it came right off with the rain. 5. There were a couple gaps between the gutter and the home that were not addressed. • Bill took me to his truck and showed me how he would connect the upper gutters into the lower gutters. I thanked him for his honesty and said I hope I see him soon to complete this work. • The next day Bill's younger supervisor (Colby?) arrived at my house to complete the work, which confused me since I had already gone over everything with Bill. I didn't get a good vibe from him, and I told him I would feel more comfortable if Bill did the work. He really tried to persuade me otherwise, but I insisted that Bill do the work. At that point Colby called Brach M on speaker phone and told him what I had said, and Brach seemed shocked that I would make such a request. I was following my instinct on this one, though: Bill was the only employee I've encountered that I trust, and if they wanted me to re-write the check, they would send him out to do the work. • Brach said "well I'm sorry you've had such a bad day." He then proceeded to tell me that Bill is "not qualified" to do the work I needed, which I knew right away was a bold-faced lie. I asked him later in a text why he would lie to me like that. No response to the question. • Brach finally gave in and said that he would send Bill, but that he would also send Colby along with him. I refused to accept that, and insisted that the only scenario I would accept was Bill coming by himself. Bill's in his 60's and very experienced, and doesn't need anyone looking over his shoulder. • When all was said and done, Bill was sent out by himself and completed the needed repairs. Bill was honest, a hard worker, and did the work right with a great attitude. I handed Bill another check to hand over when he got back to the office . . . minus the $20 it cost me to stop payment. CONCLUSION: The LeafFilter product is good. The Papillion, Nebraska staff and installers I encountered, though, with the exception of Bill, were god-awful. Insincere, dishonest, not customer-centered, and poor workmanship. The check I wrote should have gotten me much better service than that.

We were extremely disappointed with LeafFilter. Based on the sales visit to our home, we had high hopes that this product would be compatible with the metal roof on our bungalow. Contracts were signed, and we prepared to move forward. Unfortunately, our hopes were dashed when, on his arrival, the installer quickly advised that he could not move forward. We were amazed that the salesperson had not even bothered to climb up on a ladder to check our roof. According to our LeafFilter contact, the job of the salesperson is to sell, regardless of whether or not the job is actually doable. We've never dealt with such a limited sales experience that assumes so much and completes a contract without checking physical eligibility. We would not recommend LeafFilter to anyone. On top of that, the installer, despite best efforts, left permanent damage on a section of our gutters.

I ordered LeafFilter gutters. The day that they were to be installed; a “cut crew” came out to my home to cut and form the gutters in advance of the arrival of the installers. Shortly after they departed, I discovered that the “cut crew” had run over one of my lilac bushes. When the installation crew arrived they walked around the house and proceeded to tell me that the “cut crew” cut the gutters wrong. The installation foreman then told me that he forgot the tool that is needed to crimp the downspouts. It was at point that they left. I contacted my sales representative who put me in touch with the installation manager. I explained the situation with regard to the installers leaving and also mentioned that their “cut crew” ran over and destroyed one of my lilac bushes. The installation manager apologized. He said that he would get another installation crew out here ASAP. He also said that he would be sending me a $75 gift certificate to compensate for the loss of my bush. The new installation crew came out the next day (it should be noted that apparently LeafFilter sub-contracts their installation). The ONLY positive with regard to this entire process was the the 2nd installation crew did do a very nice job. Once the installation was complete, I provided the installers a check for payment in full of nearly $15,000. Several weeks passed without having received the $75. gift that was promised by the installation manager. I contacted him by phone and was told at this point that he’d have to check with his supervisor. It has now been almost 8 weeks since the installation of my gutters and no one has made it right with regard to the destruction of my lilac bush.

I wish this were a better story since I do like the product but the service I have received is not acceptable. 1) During installation, the installers blocked my AC condensation drains which caused the water to back up and cause water damage from water leaking out of pan and through ceiling. 2) Service came out and fixed the issue but has yet to address and/or reimburse for the damaged sheet rock in my house 3) Service provided a false picture of the original condition of my AC drains in attempts to pass the blame to existing condition. 4) Service damaged my shingles and has not commented on repair or reimbursement. If I could leave zero stars I would. It's been almost 3 months since the issues and all contacts involved are not responding. For the amount of money we spent on this, I feel like I was robbed. Wish I would have just spent the money on a taller ladder so that I could clean my gutters instead. Would have saved thousands!

Like the simple process to order, schedule and install the guards. Less than happy with the installation process. We had a new roof installed and there are numerous nails that slipped down between the gutter during the installation process. A good QC process would have inspected and corrected the installers error.

They came right out and put up the gutters. That was great, but they do not work. They look great on the house but that's all. Supposedly the techs installed my gutters wrong. They have not come back out to fix my problem yet. I have called many times and still have no resolution. I chose them because I did not have time for a hassle, but I know now I should have chosen someone else get. If you decide to get these gutters my advise is to make sure you don't pay in full for them until it rains. After you pay they do not care- you are an afterthought. Worst service by far doing my house project.

Nearly maintenance free! Gutters show stains of overflow! Valley stops clog with twigs leave! House is surrounded by pine trees so gutters get a lot of debri! 1 yr old nonsigns of wear! Expensive but so far mostly satisfied!

Not happy with it. It was never installed properly I am finding out and I have a lot of issues with it. Now I must give them credit with the issues I been having that they send our service people to correct them and they make corrections but more issues keep popping up and I am getting ready to call them out again with finding more problems like still more leeks and parts of the the current gutter coming out of the down spouts.

Sales person LIED about my existing gutters causing roof damage….and that Leaf Filter installers would fix the existing roof damage. When installer came out he said there was no roof damage and even if there was, he would not be able to fix it. Then got Sales Manager Aaron on the phone where he went along with what his sales person said about me having roof damage when he has never seen my property and when I told him that his installers said I didn’t have any roof damage then Aaron backpeddled on what he had said. Then he continued to insult me on the phone with interrupting me and talking over me. Then I called Corporate to complain about all of it and got Zach, Corporate Installation Mgr of NE and he called me (2) days later to say that I would be getting a $600 credit for my troubles and now it is (20) days later and still don’t have the credit. Everyone lies and don’t do what they say they will and rip people off.

I have a Leaf Filter job that just can't get done. I paid the money as the Leaf Filter contractor said they would do as they promised. But, while I was gone, they just picked up and left, job not finished. Can't get them to come. All I get is an 800 number out of Ohio. The Eugene office has no phone number. We are in Bend, OR, I suggest the Leaf Filter people (where ever they are?) take a second look at their contractor here in central Oregon. They don't fit the Leaf Filter name and reputation and I won't use them again.

Leaf Filter Installers Damaged Property Installer damaged property during install. Salesman Nathan wrote work order WRONG/Not as Discussed, so result extra work I received Broken Floodlight. I witnessed Installer Josh STANDING on staircase hand rail. Now broken from wall. I have BEFORE pictures (Was tree damage insurance claim) and damaged done by installer. I can not rent property with liability of someone falling from handrail on 2nd story. I am senior depending on my rental income. Leaf filter made "NO SHOW" appointment of so called manager to view damage. Then requested photo's of damage which were sent. Making it clear that they HAVE NO INTENTION OF MAKING IT RIGHT. BUYER BEWARE, only so so product.( Alum. seemless gutter is wavy after thermal warm up) Installers are SUB CONTRACTED sub par, probably WITHOUT LIABILITY INSURANCE. Now negotiating with Discover to dispute payment. BE SURE TO INSPECT ANY WORK PERFORMED BEFORE PAYING. I failed to do so. Will update review if Leaf Filter should "Make it Right". Oh yes, contacted customer service, rearrange MY SCHEDULE to meet with Rep Wed. 3/10/2021. After waiting 1"hr, Ashley called and now no one is available. To send pictures of damage which was done 3/10/2021 With NO RESPONSE. The "no show appt. should have been my first clue. They DON'T CARE about me as post customer. Time to let public opinion prevail on Snapchat And You tube.

Giving Leaf Filter this rating mainly because: 1) When I called to ask if they covered our area, the customer service was a little abrupt when stating "they did not" and seemed anxious to hang up the phone since I was not a "possible customer." I hung up feeling offended. 2) Their Customer Service rep I dealt with seemed "rushed" to answer any questions asked.

Got leaf filter installed on my home. Good product, a bit pricey! But for peace of mind, they are a good product! Had a little issue witn installation, but they were prompt in addressing! I would recommend leaf filter to anyone, just be prepared for sticker shock…like on vehicles!

This is a great company with an outstanding product. I purchased my gutter protection products last year. While the guards may be a little more expensive than other options, the company offers a guarantee and great service. Best of all, I never have to clean out my gutters again!
