I had the leaf filter system installed on my house 2 yrs ago. Everything was installed in a professional manner. The diverter pieces were installed at the appropriate places however the crew did not paint them to match the gutters as they said they would. So now I have tan gutters and white diverter pieces here and there. Also one section of gutter was cleaned and moved slightly and the seams now leak. Told them about this and it never got repaired. I had the system installed at my Mom’s house and everything went well and the diverters were painted to match the gutters. Clean up on both houses was properly done. I would say this is a good product (a little expensive) but don’t pay your bill until all the issues are taken care of

Allow me to first say that the sales experience was very good. And the installers personalities were also very easy going. And given that the weather was very cold and the guys were time pressed I can understand why there are a couple of issues with the product. The front south facing corner leaks and I have addressed the problem and I was told that a phone call should solve the problem. Now recently we had a thaw and a refreeze and the other south rear facing down spout end came off. There are two screws that when initially installed did not grip and the thing came loose with chunk of ice. Another easy fix I hope. I’ll address these two issues whenever I make my phone call. I expect both issues will be taken care of.

hey, my name's Tom Butcher, I'm from uh sandy Oregon and I found lee filter uh in a newspaper ad. Um the sales uh lady came out and was uh very, very courteous, uh talked to me through and explained to me what the product was all about. Um helped me uh get a a great deal um uh no interest uh for a certain period of time and and lowered the cost um because of my financial situation. Um And uh then the uh procedure, the installation was scheduled. Um the tech came out and uh the weather was miserable uh as it is this time of the year up here. And uh he, I told him, I said, well we can do this another day. And he said no he said, I'm here, I'm gonna get it done and it was just pouring rain. Uh I felt so sorry for the guy, but he did it, he got it completed and uh very professional, very courteous. Um afterwards, uh you know, as as people get, don't know, a product real well, there's some skepticism involved and uh it's been raining uh almost continuously now since uh my product has been installed and uh it is exactly what was promised. There are no leaves, no debris in the gutters. Um It's a wonderful product and I would recommend it to anybody,

And I was introduced with uh to lee filter uh actually referred by my mother uh and she told me about the great service that they would provide and how they can have my gutters prepare it. They were just a mess, it was an absolute mess. So uh I had a wonderful time. I uh gave them a call and Richard came out the uh the very same day And well actually he called me back and he came out the very next day. Excuse me. And he came in. He just did a wonderful job. Uh He went around my house, gave a uh a write up of everything uh how much it would cost uh when we can have the installation done. And the rates were really good and it was just everything was fantastic. Richard was wonderful. He provided excellent customer service. Uh and he gave me a very good rate, very good, very good price. Uh They came out, the installation went smoothly. Uh the installers work really fast. I didn't even know they were finished. They moved that fast, so I was very pleased at the end of the day.

The quality is very good. This is the second house in which I have installed these gutter covers. Both salespersons were excellent and knew their stuff. Have an idea about how much you want to pay and they will work with you. On both occasions, they discounted from their initial quote to a number more acceptable to me. Installation was quick and they didn't leave any trace.

The installation went well my the overall look is great. Only complaint is that I reached out to my sales person to provide me with a typed work order because I could not read the original contract. He told me sure no problem , unfortunately he did not follow up with his promise to provide me with the revised copy after a few phone calls and text messages he promised me he would and eventually he blew me off and never did anything.

I very much liked my conversations with customer service reps regarding concerns about the contact then later about rain coming down around a downspout. Turns out the downspout was clogged which the installers had clearly missed! I'm concerned other downspouts may have been missed as well so I will have to check for that next rain. Installers should not only clean gutters but downspouts too. The lifetime warranty gives me confidence any issue will be addressed as this one was so I am still recommending your company to friends and neighbors. Please don't let me down. Thank you

They were very prompt in scheduling and conducting the installation. However, 1. I had to ask the installer to add additional screws to the screen to get rid of humps in the screen runs to make them flat. 2. Unless I misunderstood the salesman, I thought the screen system enclosed the ends of the gutters to prevent "critters" from getting inside the gutters. Mine are open. 3. I had to ask the installer to flatten some of the shingles after the install.

Seems like a quality product, however we haven't had fall yet so it remains to be seen how leaves "slide/fall" off the top of leaf filter. Also, I was given a warranty certificate and told to go to their website to "register" my warranty but there is no place on the website to "register" my warranty. Overall leaf Filter seems ;ole a quality product. Their sales rep was very informed and the installation crew did an great job. However, the product seems way over priced for what it is.

The screen cover looks good but the first time it rained the water just ran off the edge of the drain, it didn't go through the screen. After about five minutes the water finally went through. Maybe small particles of dirt or dust need to be washed off by the rain first. We really haven't had them long enough to make a fair judgement. We will see what happend's after all this snow.

It is too early to report. Leaf filter was installed (at considerable expense!) only a couple of weeks ago. We have had no rain and leaves have just begun to fall. I was expecting a fix for a gutter that is slightly shorter than the roof, but it was not addressed.

Great product and customer service, but expensive. The install team left screws and wood wedges around the perimeter of my house. Leaf Filter installed a section of gutter above the garage. It has an overflow on the high side, and the Leaf Filter will be back for warranty repair in less than a month from installation day.

Too early for me to make an assessment. We had a gully washer rain storm yesterday and some of the inside corners overflowed. Most likely because to much water for the size of the gutters?? I am not able to get up on my roof to check the gutters.

After a snowstorm left a considerable amount of on the roof, the snow melted off the gutter and some water drained into the gutter like it should have. Some water drained off the top of the gutter shield and was falling onto the deck. I did not feel that was supposed to do.

Have to amend my previous review. In the ad on tv the man says no gaps. I had gaps at the ends of my gutters. So I went to a big box store, bought some very fine window screen and took care of the issue. Otherwise, very satisfied with the gutter protection. Jeff Reineke

To date I have not experienced any type of heavy rain in order to see if my drainage has improved. Since there has not yet been any measurable snow where I can see that the drainage has improved and I am not getting any huge ice cycles or ice dam backups, I cannot give a fair rating and truly say that this purchase was definitely worth the money.

Gave feedback once already. LeafFilter Gutter Protection was ok at first then Pine Needles from neighbors yard accumulated all along the gutter so we call LeafFilter Maintenance and they came out and cleaned up the mess, he also said a section of the new leaf filter gutter was not installed so he corrected the problem!

The install was quick, and the youg gentlemans were polite and answered all our questions. When finished, the next day it rained and I noticed a couple of leaks, called LeafFilter and a tech came out and fixed the problem plus went over the whole job to reseal any other problems. The leaf filter product is very effective doing what is advertised to keep gutters clean. Follow up is very good with them coming back a year later to fix leaks promptly when asked. My only issue is that the sales process is preditory with initial offers coming in 3X final bids making the process stressful.

While it keeps tree junk out of the gutters the soft maple seed(whirlybirds) collect on top of the screens and have caused the water to overflow the gutters without it greeting into the gutters because the huge collection on top of the screen.

Product works well. The one improvement I'd work on is capping the ends because the screen doesn't lay flat creating an opening large enough to allow for nestlings insects. Got to figure out how to cap (close-off) the ends.

Because winter set in right after LeafFilter was installed, we really can't give a true evaluation till spring, or above freezing temperatures occur. It's January so we have a ways to go in Michigan.

I liked the team and how they worked both together and then separately The original part of the gutters that did not need replacing were re-used and re- instaled , in a better manned. The clean up was compleate and gone. The only problem I have is on one side of the building (right/AptB) the gutter run is not level. i.e. The water does not come out of the back section, water is all dumped from the front or forward end of the gutter. Someone did re-visit and suggested that the wind and the way the rain fell it all went forward. That is a lot of water to just go out one end. The other side functions correctly equal water out both ends. Good for the yard and building. I do like their system, LeafFilter is the way to go.

I would have given a 10, but They ran out of black gutters so had to use brown in the back of the house. The feet of the down spouts were pictured as metal hinged and able to be lifter for mowing, but they installed plastic tube ones like you'd find in any garden department. I really didn't like being basically forced to sign a service contract before I could discuss it with my grandson. For a one story, simple install, it was very expensive. They did leave the whole work ares clean and took the mess with them. I did not get the leaf filter layer on top of the gutters because the leaves stick to the filter when it rains and then the rains just pour down over the stuck leaves all along the edge of the gutters. Been there done that!

Unfortunately, we haven't had any rain to test my new LeafFilters. Until that time I don't feel I can give an honest answer. But I will say the guys that installed the LeafFilter gutter did a great job. With one exception of the down spout by the side gate. I wish there had been a better way to install it beside blocking the opening of the gate in which the gate is locked so not to break the down spout. I'm still trying to find someone to cut the gate so I can open it when the need arises. In turn, it will be another expense added to the cost of the install of the LeafFilter gutter. But outside that I it's A Ok.

Gutters clogged up after every rainfall. Tech came out, a terrific Technician, very helpful, friendly, and professional, I wish every tech in business was this good. However, the gutter is clogging up with debris on a regular basis; the last visit from Leaf Filter we removed the sleeves to help move the water through but unfortunately still clogged. To be fair, the Tech advised I needed to have a tree specialist come out and cut back the tops of my trees growing near the gutters. I did this and discovered the trees in question are all fruit trees. You cannot cut a fruit tree in summer that already has signs of fire blight (sp?) because it's an open wound; you cannot cut back fruit trees until cold has set in & there is no danger of spreading this fungus. The current situation is I have to wait till December to have the tree limbs cut back so I am catching the runoff water in a large container before it hits the ground. I am particularly concerned about this issue as I just had the porch area off the front of the house, elevated so water would not flow into the foundation. Needless to say that cost a pretty penny to complete. So I'm at a stale-mate here, I cannot fix the overall problem until December. You may want to advise customers if they have fruit trees near the gutters they will be faced with the same exact problem. This was news to me & I had 4 different trees 'specialists' ( and I use the term loosely), come out to assess this situation and none of them told me about the danger to the trees with fire blight not to mention they all had inflated prices to cut back these fruit trees! The company that advised me about the fungus, etc. is going to charge me HALF of what the others proposed. I was impressed with Leaf Filter after the first problem arose because you sent a Tech out the same day who was very knowledgeable & NOT blowing smoke. My biggest problem is I am 69 years old, a single mother of a mentally disabled son & dare not get the old ladder out to clear these blockages. So if you have some magic elixer for aging abatement that would be fabulous.

We think the sales reps should spend some time with installers and repair persons to make sure that they understand the product performance strengths and weaknesses. Our first "after installation" service call went well. The service person took the time to clean all our leaf filters all the way around the house. Pollen and tree debris had stopped the flow of water into the gutter after less than two months. The mesh is small and stops up quickly. Larger openings would allow pollen and tree trash to get into the gutter. It appears that both options will require regular maintenance. So far, Leaf Filter has done that job at no additional cost to us. We hope that continues.

The gutter system seems to be working well. The micromesh is a benefit to those who have rain barrels keeping debris out of the water collected. The only criticism is the sale- person who asked if we had any discount coupons and we affirmed that we did with both a mailer add and e-mails. The full price was stated to be $15,337 and he wrote up the contract for 12,004 (21.73% discount) without asking for our coupons. When we subsequently presented our coupon for 15% off the entire purchase plus 10% off for seniors and 5% off for the entire install he would not honor them. Given the cost burden we removed carport gutters, downspouts and filters from the contract and paid $9,100.00 for the house and half our garage. The team of workers installing the system told us to contact them directly if we wanted more as it would cost us a lot less to deal directly with them.
