I purchased 2 Clopay garage doors installed by a contractor in 2016. Hardware, including rollers, were upgraded with Medallion extended warranty, which covers "limited lifetime" warranty for the rollers. The rollers have been worn out with loud noise and wobble; Clopay has not honored the warranty and closed the case on my claim as of November 2024.

My new Clopay Door, Classic Steel, Model 9130, Short Panel, With No Windows, Color-Desert Sand with R-Value 12.9 Polyurethane Insulation was purchased on 07/07/23. The order was placed through Chervenak's Residential Door. I was told to expect a 4 week wait time due to the fact that I had ordered a color other than white, so the door needed to be special ordered. On 07/26/23 the owner Joe C installed the door. It was only a 19 day wait time. What an awesome experience. I have read dozens of reviews and the one theme that is consistent is that the poor revues are from people that made their purchase through Home Depot.

Clopay does not honor it`s warranty. The metal track the roller slides on for the Garage Door became warped a year later. I was told by Clopay that it isn`t covered after a year. The Clopay Garage Doors Catalogue for the Home Depot reads that there is a 3 year manufacturer hardware warranty.

I purchased two 9x7 garage doors and elected to install them my self. I have never installed a garage door before but this was a really easy project. I felt pretty comfortable installing them. They went together a lot easier than I thought and they work great. Instructions were easy to follow and so far I am really happy with them. They look great and also work great

My client wanted to order a new garage door while I was out of town, knowing it would take a while to be delivered. She goes down to Home Depot makes the arrangements, they tell her somebody will be by to take measurements, nothing for a week and a half. She calls down there, and eventually somebody proceeds to walk her through it online. Packages get delivered into the garage all is well. My elderly client forgets about it ....literary. So I come back into town and eventually we pick up the discussion about her getting a new garage door. Then she remembers she got one..What ends up being delivered shows that this employee knows nothing about garage doors but plenty about upselling. None of the parts go together, because they're half torsion spring and half extension, the door itself came up to $3k (almost double from where she started). Luckily for an elderly gal her measurements were right on, but they didn't ask how much clearance to the roof which is only 4" Their minimum is 4.5" and requires an additional kit,$$ I thought I could probably make that work except these $3k panels won't work because of their width. Now, I like to think I'm pretty crafty, for the most part, but I just can't make this work, unless I start welding shit. So I call HD, they pass me right along to clopay, talk my way up the ladder there (I heard a lot of apologies) then the last one finally says what I was expecting from the beginning... Oh, we got a policy, this order is months old, I explained the (still sealed)order is incompatible within itself and would just like to exchange some things, so I can build this. She then tries to shift the blame back to HD by saying, this order was made online through Home Depot, it didn't go through us. I asked if I was talking to copay, she said yes. And my hands are tied. So I have to say buyer beware, there's no civility with these 2 companies. It was a good feeling taking the scissors to my Home Depot card. I also vowed to post my experience everywhere I can until I feel they've lost the $4.5K in business that my client lost.

Clopay couldn't be bothered. Purchased a garage door opener & installation package from Clopay through Home Depot. After 1 1/2 weeks of not hearing anything about scheduling installation, I started calling customer service. Clopay's customer service line kicks you off after you've been waiting a while. What a great experience! So I left a few voicemails. Never heard back. Called the local warehouse number. They answered and told me I'd have to call the number that never picks up or calls back. Eventually, I started talking to the local Home Depot directly. They opened an investigation and told me Clopay would call me in the middle of next week. Never heard back. It's been about three and a half weeks and I've heard nothing from Clopay. Thankfully, my wife has worked in customer service and decided to take over. Home Depot has now engaged another garage door installer to take over.

Very poor customer services to deal with. I ordered my Clopay Avante glass garage door through Overhead Garage doors (OGD). I got one of the panels with couple of scratches. Door was installed on January 11th. I reported the problem to OGD on January 12th. They were not helpful, I opened ticket on January 22. My ticket is 2737360. I also reported a 2nd issue on January 22, regarding broken glass on on of frames. It was resolved on March 14th 2024 after countless calls. I will never recommend this company. The doors are single pane glass and the quality sucks, especially when you pay $9000 for 2 doors.

Customer service is really bad. I have had the Clopay garage door for only about 8 months. It is still under warranty. The weather seal is falling off already and they say it isn't covered. In a high wind, the door makes a scary buzzing noise. I loved the door but now I am totally disappointed. They said I have to actually buy new weather seal and pay to have it installed! That door was more than $3000. Really bad service.

I will never buy a Cloplay product again. Purchased a 16x7 insulated garage door in 2015 from Home Depot. Called today to get information about the spring (which I have in hand with a label stating size and part number) and was told they could not give me ANY information without the door serial number. The serial number is printed on a paper label affixed to the bottom of the door and has long since detached itself. This most likely happened during the Great Flood in 2016 that inundated 75% of the parish. I have an electronic receipt from Home Depot and a model number, but all of that information is not sufficient. I will not buy one of their products again. Horrible customer service policies.

Bought a Pair of Cloplay Garage doors with custom glass thru Home Depot. Someone broke out one of the windows. Many calls and orders later, I still can't get replacement glass. First, they cancelled my order since it did not have the $150 special shipping charge for the $24 window. Next, I ordered two windows and paid the $150. They cancelled the order again without any notice. I would not buy from them ever again. I just bought an Overhead door for another house, and was very satisfied, and they can provide parts if necessary. Not a bad door, but woe to you if you ever need parts.

I just got a Clopay door delivered today. I discoverd a panel with no end bracket support and that same panel was crushed on one edge. Called Clopay, they said it is Home Depots responsibility. Home Depot insists on me returning the entire unit. But they can't come for a week. Now they have my money, there is no hurry to pick up the door. They can't tell me when I will receive my replacement. They have the model in stock. The problem is Clopay's quality control and no real service from Home Depot.

I didn't get to begin the installation on the day scheduled based on the contractors inability to show up at the appropriate time and this is because I wasn't able to communicate with the customer service department.

When ordering from Home Depot and Clopay you will wait 6-12 MONTHS for your order to arrive to an installer to deliver or install. Expect clopay to say your door arrived at the installers when it hasn't yet or for many parts to be missing. I've had no hinges before, 3 out of 5 sections, so many issues. It is a lower quality door compare to one of the best which is CHI. CHI will get you doors in under 2 months.

I contracted Home Depot in Burlington Ontario and their supplier of Garage Doors Clopay to install my Garage doors. Their Installer was Nuno. The install was poorly done and took them 12 hours to install 2 garage doors. Nuno subcontracted a couple of amateur installers to do the work. Nuno pretty much supervised and acquired the parts for them as the job went along. The weatherstripping ends did not not match up good and light shines through the edges of the weatherstripping when doors are closed. Clopay says that is acceptable and will not redo it. 2 panels of one garage door does not mate up properly and I insist to have the panels redone with a different installer but Clopay refuses to send a new installer. They want to send Nuno back but I don’t want that.

I bought the high end line of Clopay doors for my new house 3 years ago. They have a 5 year warranty. I recently noticed a large area that is rusting from the inside out. I contacted my dealer in Ft Myers Florida. They tried to tell me it wasn't under warranty. I gave them the installation date. Then they said okay but you need to pay us $50 before we can have a technician come to approve it. I reluctantly agreed. When he arrived he said it most certainly is covered under warranty. 2 days later the office called to tell me if it is approved under warranty I still am required to pay $525 for the labor to install the bad panel. I again reluctantly agreed. Now 10 days later they called and said the factory refused to warranty the corrosion on defective material. Needless to say I will never install their so called quality garage doors again. Nor will any of my neighbors.

I wish I knew what the quality was. I ordered my door in early October with a deliver no later than 3 Jan. The local installer didn't come to inspect for 2 weeks delaying the process by that time. I then didn't hear anything for another 2 months telling me my door would be delivered on the 8th of Feb. I then didn't hear anything until I contacted the installer about an install date on 1 Feb and was told I should have been contacted 3 weeks prior to scheduled delivery to start the permitting process but I wasn't. Then on the scheduled delivery date I was told they don't receive deliveries during the week so he didn't know when it would be delivered but since his office had not started the permit paperwork on time we would be looking at another 2-4 weeks before they could even schedule the install. We have been living with a tarp for a garage door since the last hurricane and still have no idea when we will have a door almost 5 months after paying the full price for our very expensive door!!!

Bought 2 garage doors at HD. They were installed less than 4 months ago. Last week I noticed the two bottom panels had large creases in them running up and down the whole panels. I contacted Home Depot and salesperson told me to send her photos, which I did. After waiting to here back from salesperson after a week I called. Waited another day after leaving a voicemail and finally got a call back. I was told Clopay denied my one year warranty. When I asked why she told me they said I must of clean sec garage door and something was on the ground and it caused damage. If I would have done that, I would think I would have noticed that, and it would have caused much more damage to the door. This company does not stand by their product, the door panels were surely defective. Stay away from this company!!

We ordered our Clopay garage door on September 1, 2021, and as of January 21, 2022, it has still not shipped. I understand the "supply chain" challenges they blame on their web site but if Clopay can't deliver a "standard" product within almost five months, they should not take the order in the first place or warn you of the delay. I don't blame the local retailer... Clopay is the source of the problem. While they are high quality doors, their ability to manage customer expectations and product delivery is awful.

purchased 2 classic 9x8 wood grain doors from HD worse purchase I have ever made, doors were delivered , opened boxes to see that both doors had creases in you can feel them in the face of the door, the creases were vertical and random approximately 2,4 &6 inches & across the whole door, contacted Colpay was told ALL their doors looked like this, so anyone reading this STAY CLEAR OF COLPAY DOORS, they said it wasn't a defect and ALL Colpay doors look like this, so HD would do nothing, if I would have seen this on HD tiny display I would never had bought them , put alot of pride in building this garage and the worse thing on it is the Colpay garage doors from Homedepot, I feel I payed for better looking doors not something that takes away from the curb appeal of my home, I like many others, will also contact the BBB.. and my lawyer, I feel like I payed for much better than what I received....I wouldn't complain if they were 500.00 doors I Wish I could post photos so no one else makes the mistake I did buying from Colpay & HD

Anyone who buys a Clopay door after reading these reviews ought to have their head examined! I've installed more than a few garage doors before but when I opened the box and saw my new Clopay door - the 3 out of 4 damaged panels with creases and rumpled edges and obvious defective hole mis-alignments - I just tossed the whole mess in the dumpster and cut my losses then and there. Below it asks if I've ever been a paying customer of Clopay - what does that even MEAN and how is that relevant? Clopay doesn't sell direct and I bought my door at Hom,e Depot as I imagine most people do. So I guess the answer is YES but I had to pay Home Depot for the door or else I wouldn't have received it.

We ordered a door from Clopay through Home Depot and it was delivered almost two months late. After having to find someone who could install the door after losing our original contractor due to availability because the door was late, we found out a there was a right winding unit missing and called Clopay. They said they weren’t able to replace it because it was after the 30 day period which is written into their contract. It’s terrible customer service for them to deliver their product two months late and to not be accommodating because of an inconvenience that occurred because of their mistake. I am very displeased with the service overall and will never buy from this company again.

Clopay sent me an email asking for a review of their garage doors that I ordered in December 2020. I was advised that it would take 8-12 weeks to get the doors due to the pandemic which i understood and accepted. One week after the order, the local contractor came out and measured the three openings for the three doors that I ordered, including measurements for the high tracks since i have a tall ceiling over the garage. Everything was great. March 2021 arrives and i was notified that my doors were ready for install. However, Clopay sent standard height tracks instead of the high tracks so the contractor couldn't install. Now its May 29, 2021 and I still don't have my high tracks or my garage doors and my new construction is still ongoing because of this...I can't move anything into my new house because i don't have garage doors. A company with good customer service would've sent the correct tracks right away in March. After all, its only the steel tracks and not the garage doors themselves. Its been 3 months, and still no tracks. This tells me everything you need to know about this company and their lack of customer service. My invoice was over $5,000 and they couldn't prioritize sending me the correct tracks right away. I had to get an extension on my closing date for my construction loan because of this company, which meant more interest payments for me. Do yourself a favor and find a company that is more reliable. I only wish that I am able to review the doors themselves but its hard to do so when the company can't even complete the order after 6 months!

We bought a garage door in April 2020 from Home Depot and it was broken after a few months. HD is not responding to our calls despite several calls to the store managers. (Susie/Melvin/Will/Maria). We sent pictures to Clopay as well and every time we call customer service saying they are still reviewing the pictures. In the meantime we cannot get in or out our garage since both doors are broken. We request a refund since is only a few months we bought the door and they are not responding either. Do not buy doors from this company. The quality is very bad and it costs $1,800 for the doors. I will report to the BBB

purchased a clopay 8x7 insulated garage door with no windows, got it home removed from the box the first thing I saw was a window panel package wrong after removing the rest of the item the other three panels where badly damaged. I called clopay like the indicated on there box with a 800 number got a run around from 3 different customer service rep. No one took responsiblity of my problem then they blame it on home depot but they packaged the box and did not stand behind there brand which said if there any damaged or problems with the material give them a call. What a waste I would take there door if it was free false labeling and damaged goods and no one in there company owning up to it

I purchased this door from my local HD on Veteran's Day last November 2019 since they offer a 10% discount for Vets a couple of times a year and I needed a new door for a new project I was getting ready to start by December for an expanded work shop. I saw the 14 day warning that I needed to contact them if I had any problems so I inspected the contents and all looked well as far as part quantities and I didn't see any dings in the door panels. This past week we began the installation of the new door and all was going well until I found the second panel where the galvanized end panel plate was out of square by 3/16" with the door so the hinge below from the first panel would not line up with the holes that were shifted over due to the end plate problem. My son called Clopay and talked to a rep and she suggested just taking the two end plate screws out and moving it back in place after we sent her some pics of the problem but my son told her that was not possible since Clopay's mfg. process included 6 spot welds or what might be called rivets along each end panel plate where it connects to the pressed door panel - hard to believe she wasn't aware of the spot welds on their product. Obvious manufacturing defect and I assumed no problem since most reputable companies would replace if proof was shown to prove their defect - wrong with Clopay. Their CS Rep., Sarah, in an email repeated the 14 day issue warranty that Clopay was standing by and would not budge. She stated that we needed to take this up with HD but it wasn't their problem since it was manufactured incorrectly. I could have waited and purchased another brand from HD's next door competitor where I always get a 10% Vet discount all year long but I had purchased a Clopay insulated door for my home 20 years ago from HD and the quality was great but apparently Clopay's quality control has fallen since that purchase and I would have been better to wait and purchase elsewhere just before I was ready to install. I was expecting the same quality from Clopay I got over 20 years ago and if I didn't know better I would have sworn that my door was manufactured in China.

Let me start this off by saying I am not one to complain, so please take this review with seriousness. I purchased a standard garage door from Menards in early December. We asked if they did installs, and they said they don't, but they recommend local contractors. So we purchased the door, and set up delivery/install on 12/30/2019. The door gets delivered, the installer comes and installs it and everything worked out fine. On January 5th, I went to open the garage door, and the panels start crushing. The top panel was extremely dented, and the next 2 panels were mildly dented. This left my garage door inoperable. I called out an emergency repair guy. He was there within an hour and checked everything out. He said he had no idea what caused this, and it was probably a door failure. He stated everything looked to be installed correctly, and the cost to fix it would be more than I paid for the door itself. Now, I know I bought a cheap door, but to completely fail after 5 days is inexcusable. I called Menards on Monday. They apologized to me, and said that I have to mail a installed product complaint form to corporate, as they don't handle anything on a store level. they shifted blame to corporate. So I mailed a letter with everything that was wrong, along with receipts, pictures etc. I heard back from corporate after almost 2 weeks. They said they sent the info to the production company and it was out of their hands from there. So corporate shifted blame to the company that produced the door. I then got in touch with them. I sent them all the info, receipts, pictures etc. They got in touch with me, and blamed the installer with some obscure rule. So everyone just shifted blame to one another, no one taking responsibility for their faulty product. Not to mention, even if the install was done incorrectly, Menards gave me the name of the contractor. I was in the hole $1200 (door price & install) and I had a door that didn't work and no one was willing to help me. I got in touch with the installer and told him everything that was done & said. He came out the next day and examined everything. He stood by his work and walked me through how everything was installed. He however, did feel for my situation. So him and his crew came out the next day and fixed my door. Now, the dents and bends are still visible, but at least the door works now. So long story short, never purchase products similar to this from Menards. They don't back up their product, they just shift blame so everything is out of their hands. The production company they work with, Clopay Corporation, also shifts blame, so no one is liable for anything and the consumer is screwed.

Worst experience we have ever had, purchased the best, highest rated insulated door from Home Depot August 2019, Clopay's installer stripped the screw during install, we were told stripped screws would not be a problem, we wanted the screws replaced, as this is a moving device the screws are going to loosen even more as time goes on. They have continued to lie to us and Home Depot, we've been totally ignored and totally disrespected in our wishes to have these screws replaced. They were suppose to be here before noon today, (4th time we've been told this), we even told them to just bring us the screws, we'd install them. I think Home Depot needs to evaluate who they use to install their doors here in Texas. I'd give them a -20 star rating if i could, we are VERY, VERY DISSATISFIED WITH CLOPAY AND THEIR INSTALLERS, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!

Have owned my Coachmen series garage door for 10 years and the panels are warping and pulling off the door. I reached out to Clopay and asked about their warranty and was told the door only has a 5 year warranty. I suggested that maybe since a garage door shouldn't be warping after 10 years they would like to offer me a discount to purchase a new Clopay door. I was told that they do not do that to try and keep a loyal client but maybe I could talk the local installation company to cut me a deal. Their warranty department was not at all helpful and did nothing but quote their standard policy. I am thinking maybe another brand would be better for my replacement

We purchased 3 insulated garage doors from Clopay in July 2018 with the highest R value they make in order to have the best doors possible. When they installed them in September 2018, there were huge gaps between the panels and they were pouring rain, snow, and ice into our building, along our walls, and into the insulated door panels. We immediately asked for our money back, but they required us to wait for them to make a new set of doors that they assured us would be right. 4 MONTHS LATER in February 2018 they finally installed 2 of the 3 new doors, but they were leaking and had gaps too so we told them to stop and not waste their time or money on the big 12' x 12' door. We immediately reported the problem. The customer service rep came out. We told her we had to get our business opened and that we were closed down until we had doors the sealed the heat in and the precipitation and elements out. We told them we had waited way too long and the monthly bills for the new building were due every month but we were unable to earn the income required to pay them as long as they had our building shut down. We told them they had their chance and we wanted a refund. They assured us if we went down from an 18 r value to a 9 r value we would not have any problems. We reluctantly agreed to the 3rd chance. 6 weeks later when I checked in on the delivery date, they still had not even approved the new doors and production had not even begun yet. We demanded a refund, which we got about 2 weeks later. We were still told countless times they would be reimbursing us for our damages. I have sent them over the itemized damage list and every week I'm told they will get back with me. It has been 2 months with no resolution offer. They keep saying they're talking to the lawyers and will get back with me (only when I email every week for an update) We have over $30,000 in damages and lost income from this ordeal for the 6 months they had us shut down and not a single offer from these people. The continued delays on our damages is as bad as their continued delay on the warranty process.

I purchased a 9 by 7 foot Clopay garage door and installed it (actually 2 of them) for a family member. They were reasonably priced and reasonably constructed. Almost immediately the bottom panel and bottom aluminum extrusion gasket retainer were were damaged. It was non-productive for me to search for a replacement panel. I was told that I might be able to call Clopay myself and convince them to sell me a new panel. The home improvement store ordered a new aluminum gasket holder for a total price exceeding $170.00 with delivery to the store.. This item is essentially a piece of aluminum angle iron that attaches to the bottom of the door with groves to hold the rubber gasket. With modern logistics, there is no excuse for Clopay to make it that difficult and expensive to purchase repair parts. I am extremely unsatisfied with post-sale support.

I have 2 Clopay Canyon Ridge doors. After 8 months one of the torsion springs broke. No big deal right? Wrong. It has been 5 weeks since I called for repairs. Spring was not in stock and had to be made. I cannot believe that a large company like clopay would make a customer who paid close to $9000.00 for doors wait 5 weeks for a repair. They did not even expedite the shipping of the spring to the installer once it was received by them. Then it took 5 more days once the installer received it to finally install it. Completely unacceptable. I do nor recommend Clopay doors that are sold by Home Depot.

Received a Clopay door that has vertical lines stamped across the entire door. It looks like paint running down the front of the door. It looks awful. The stamped vertical lines in the door are not advertised in any product description or in any photo advertising. I would not have purchased if I had known. Waste of money!

Ordered door July 24th. Didn't get installed until October 23rd. Came with copious amount of green spray paint on struts. Apparently this is normal per Clopay. The door came with damage to the top panel and we've been waiting for it to be replaced. Today is 12/11 and still no replacement. We have had an inspection sticker stuck to the door since October because it hasn't past inspection. Buyer beware. I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Clopay should not be allowed to sell their garage doors with the tension spring system and terrible weak cable system ...totally an insecure system fir a door that could drop on anyone anytime ...imagine a child getting their bike or toy out & door drops on them..when the tension spring breaks door drops ..Beware this is not good system .the door is fine the mechanics and quality of the track wheels and especially cable wire is terrible ! I am looking to see if any lawsuits have been made ...something so major and unsafe to all...big company profits focus not safety ....

2nd purchase of Clopay doors with Home Depot. 1st one was a few years ago and everything went as planned, no complaints. This time ordered 8-2-22 and told it shipped 9-19-22. Now each week it says delayed. HD folks say Clopay is one of their worst at saying and not delivering. Clopay website still says 4-6 week lead time! Almost to week 12 now and Clopay won't even give HD a projected date! It is only a good deal if you finally get the product!

Customer service is extremely poor, in less than 4 years the springs broke on my garage door. Out of warranty, so they said there was nothing they could do. Strange how previous door and parts lasted over 20 years. Emailed, no reply, called leaving information, no reply. Had to call them to get a response. Wish I had read these reviews to see how poorly they not only handle customers but produce a inferior product.

I went on Copay's website design center and designed the perfect door. Once complete Copay sent me to the nearest dealer. I than purchase the door $9,000 and waited with excitement for the door to arrive. To my disappointment the door came and was NOT what I ordered. After the fact, I'm told by Clopay Customer Service the design had to be changed to fit my opening and basically too bad you're stuck.

I am sickened by the poor quality of products that consumers pay good money for and the garage door that I have on my house, Clopay brand, is now included on my list of products to STAY AWAY from. The coachman style is lovely looking however, the top 2 panels bent while the door was lowering. The door needs to be replaced now and no surprise, the company blames the instal.

I ordered a Clopay garage door from Home Depot. The door came in and was delivered but was missing the vertical tracks. 3 weeks later after multiple phone calls and no tracks. I spoke with Clopay directly and their customer service is horrible. No apologies or offer to make it right. No offer to expedite the missing pieces. Worst company that I have ever dealt with and will never buy another Clopay door.

I ordered a door at Home Depot and Clopay delivered the door directly to my house. When I opened the package the bottom panel on one door was smashed, damaged and I went back to Home Depot and Clopay never delivered the damage parts or do anything to fix it. Bad customer service.

The weatherstripping between all the panels has deteriorated after just a little over five years (thus, not warrantied) and is hanging down all over the door, inside and out. Looks like I was ripped off for over $2,000.00 as replacement of the entire unit preempts the cost of repair it. This was the THIRD and LAST time I ever buy an install package from Home Depot as they don't stand behind their service (I got burned on a furnace install too).

I ordered 16 12x12 doors from my distributor and was told it would be 2-3 weeks. The doors are all the same color and model, and told them I'll need another 22 of the same soon. After 4 weeks, and NO COMMUNICATION, I finally heard thru my distributor that they are still a week out. Now I have closings that have to be delayed. Poor customer service. Imagine how your 2 or 3 door order will get prioritized.

We bought The Coachman series to put on our new home. We wanted them painted so we contacted Clopay to make sure we were doing everything properly. The doors started cracking after a few months. Clopay did replace them under warranty and now the second set is cracking as well. Do not buy this product! We thought we had done our research, they were recommended by a local dealer and it has not held up to what they told us it would do. Garage doors should last more than a year.

I placed an order for a clopay garage door beginning of November and was given the date for delivery Nov. 27/Dec. 3. Today, Dec. 3 I have not received a call from Clopay or Home Depot. Gave both a call nobody knows what happen to the door and the only thing I got Is excuses. This is for a rental unit and I am unable to rent for another month it because the existing door is falling apart.DO NOT BUY FROM UNRELIABLE COMPANIES !

Clopay sold me a door 1.5 years ago. The lower two panels are rusting already. Their warranty is one year for a reason. They obviously know that they use very cheap steel and that their coatings just don't hold up. I should have picked up on that a one year warranty, it was telling me something. This is junk! So don't buy from Clopay unless you're planning to replace garage doors faster than shoes.

Very well built garage doors. I have installed many of these in my life and the ease of installation makes them easy enough for many homeowners to install themselves.

Just bought and installed the first of two doors only to realize the ride much higher than the old doors and cannot install the new opener. Fear I will have to risk completely disassemble the door and spend extra on new track to make the doors useable. For the average homeowner on a budget, not average guy friendly.
