Century Law Firm is the absolute worst law firm I have ever dealt with. I started off the program with almost $49K debt. At the end of the program, I paid a little over $42k, after they promised that they could get the number down to $35k. Any time I have called in, I was always given a “we will call you back by end of day”, and then I’m chasing them for an answer over a month afterwards. I could have understanded if that was a one time thing, but it was every single time. They promised that any negotiation that was put in front of them that was not at least 50% of a savings that “Until Client authorizes and approves any such settlements, no payments of any kind, including any monthly minimum payments, will be made to Client’s creditors on the accounts…” (contract section 12.a.iv.). That was NEVER adhered to, I was never contacted to agree to anything prior to them making payments. As soon as I saw a payment come out, I immediately called them and asked for the settlement letter. There were even some settlements where they agreed to a number that was more than what I owed. I was promised that they would work with my creditors to negotiate the amounts. This only happened on one account, the rest of them, they waited until I was sued by the debtor to do anything. I even turned down one of the settlement propositions and they accepted it anyway against my consent. Don’t even bother calling in asking how much is still left to pay on the program, they have no idea. Even after all of my accounts were settled, I’m still 2 months into asking them what the exact amount is that I have left to owe, and no one can tell me. I’m taking out a loan with someone else just to get rid of them. I would file bankruptcy before I ever even considered dealing with them again.

I was told when I signed up that I would be debt free in 42 months. I am 2 months from 36 months right now. I called the other day and was told that I have 22 months remaining. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I was lied to, they say I owe $17,000 on one card and I didn't owe that much to begin with. And like other customers , I have not been contacted once for an approval to pay a creditor.

Century Law firm give you hope they are working on negotiating your debt and paying off your debt. After 3 years , we still have 75% of the debt not paid from Century. They state you can close at any time …guess what. I am ready to stop the program and now they are not returning my calls. Giving my wife the run around . Be careful people. They are shady and have power of attorney. Will continue to pursue them but VERY dissatisfied how they are treating us.

I am now nine months into the program. the last I heard from Century staff was four months ago and was told that my first settlement was lined up at the six month mark. I have not heard a peep from them since although the money keeps being debited as agreed. Collections calls are nil however silence on their part with so much money going to a settlement pool of money with status unknown is very unsettling. No website to track your progress (although very much in doubt if there is any).

I feel like I’m just giving them my money. I’ve been in the program for 6 months, creditors are calling me nonstop and I never hear from Century Law Firm. The only time I hear from them is if I contact them myself, and the responses seem like their feeding me a bunch of BS to keep me happy. I just noticed all the upfront fees I’m being charged as well. I’m very unsatisfied at the moment.

During the first few months of the program there are generally not many updates to share, as we are waiting for funds to accumulate in your account to complete meaningful negotiations with your creditors. It is important for you to notify us when you are contacted by your creditors so we can ensure they update your information to contact us on your behalf going forward. Any fees charged are detailed in a signed agreement and are included in the client’s monthly payment. I just read a reply from owner of Century Law Firm that said we weren't ask to pay until Nov. Of 2022, that is not true we are still paying them and our credit score are not better than it was before we started with them. I have all my record to prove it.

We are certainly concerned to hear of the client's dissatisfaction with Century Law Firm and the program's term length. Our records show that all of the client's debts have been resolved. The client was not asked to pay through Nov of 2022 as claimed. The client graduated from our program, they saved significant sums of money on the debts they enrolled in the program and it is Century's assertion that their credit score is higher now than when they began the program. It is our assertion that the program has met and complied with the terms and conditions of the signed agreement. Our goal is to ensure that all enrolled accounts are resolved for our clients so that they may receive all of the program benefits. During certain points in the program, we are waiting for funds to accumulate in your account to complete meaningful negotiations with your creditors. We are unable to confirm any settlement amounts until we have met an agreement with your creditors. We are happy to discuss further or explain your file in detail and can be reached at 800-381-1806.
