I like the phones but the coverage is total crap. I can't even talk on my phone in my own house. I have to go outside across the street to get a signal. The monthly service charge is alright, could be cheaper for the crap coverage. Switching to a different company next month. Hopefully it is the "boost" I need.

On April 2nd I called customer service to terminate my sons line because he told me his phone was stolen instead they turned my line off and suspended his line. I went to the cricket store they told me they couldn’t help me I would have to go find a cricket phone and call 611. Reminder they turned my phone off so I had to go to my daughters job use her phone and was put on hold for an hour. They told me it would be a hour. After an hour no service, so I called back then they say a day or two, I explained to them I use my phone for work. All they could say I’m sorry it has to investigated or you have to pay $70 to turn my phone back on. Cricket customer service was rude and inconsiderate when it was clearly their fault. I am without service but my bill is paid through auto pay and my phone is the primary phone on the account. I’ve missed a whole day of work over $200 today because I had no service. I am very dissatisfied with cricket service. Taking my service elsewhere when my phone in turned back on so I can keep my same number.

On 3/8/2019 my active phone number with Cricket got ported to a different cell phone carrier w/o my permission. I had gotten a text stating my pin # had changed which I did not do.When I stopped in to the Cricket office the cs rep called customer service dept. to which she had the company phone on speaker phone. The CS Rep told her my number had been ported over to another company by a guy out of CA. I told them I did NOT authorize this and how could someone just go in and steal my phone number like that. They offered no help, said they do NOT have a Fraud Alert Dept and could not even offer me a temporary phone number to use. My service was active and I've had this service for over 15 mos. My service was good up until March 15th and my bill is automatically deducted monthly. BE LEARY...it could happen to you and then your identity will be compromised also. Im still in shock Cricket did this to me. SMH

I'm incredibly unhappy with the customer service that I've gotten in the past couple of days through the cricket main number, the retail stores, and supervisors along the way regarding a mistake with my bill causing my services to disconnect. I've been with Cricket for years, in spite of the fact that they suck compared to other cell phone companies, but I like the idea of no contract. Not only have I had a cricket line for years I just added my son whose services are also suspended because of a clerical error but I'm now being asked to pay for. The customer retention is not eye priority 4 the people that I have spoken to, and I guess with millions of prepaids losing to customers doesn't make a big difference. But, I believe they should have tried a little bit harder to keep my business and keep a long time customer happy. I'm not asking for anything free or unreasonable, I'm asking for Cricket to be accountable. I guess MetroPCS is going to be getting another customer

A Cricket customer has my card information stored on file to pay his bill, and Cricket will not fix the situation. The customer, whom I know, said he contacted them last month to remove my card, but I know this is not true. My bank's fraud department contacted me because of the transaction, and said that because it is an automatic monthly transaction, I need to contact the company and gave me Cricket's number. The supervisor I spoke with at Cricket, Ingrid M, said there is nothing they can do and said that I need to file a police report, which I will definitely do. I have had this same issue before with the same person, and I called the other company that was able to stop the charges to my card. I don't know why Cricket cannot do the same when they have allowed someone else to use my account that is not an authorized user.

I have had a Cricket phone for two years and planned to give the phone to a person in need so that they could use it for work. The phone has been used on wifi as I have only needed the phone for one month. I called customer service for assistance as I was directed to do so by the website. Customer service had me on the line over 45 minutes and still did not help me. I need a Network Unlock Code to give the phone to another person BUT because I did not have my phone on Network for a minimum of 6 months customer service would not fulfill my request for the unlock code. So even though I purchased this phone at full price I am unable to use my phone with any other network other than Cricket or gift it to someone in need. So I do not actually have control over my own phone. Cricket customer service states that this rule is on the website and that I agreed to the terms. The only location for this rule is on a page when you request to transfer the phone and the manager was unable to find any proof that I signed this ridiculous rule. Be warned, now you know that there is a rule for this, do not purchase from Cricket!

Cricket was good for the most part. The hidden charges were not welcome but I suppose all major providers have them. The wait times were unacceptable, and sometimes the store closed without warning for a day or two. But the connection was reliable even with the old phone that I brought.

I used cricket for a few years and they were just okay to me. The price, at first, was the biggest reason to me switching over. Over time I hated that I couldn’t make out of state calls and the service wasn’t very good. I dropped a lot of calls. After some time, other cell phone providers were dropping prices. I switched back to T-mobile when I realized I wasn’t going to be paying much more than what I was paying for cricket, so I made the switch back to t-mobile.

Never, ever purchase a Cricket phone over the phone or online. My experience has involved over 10 phone calls in one week, and it has become apparent that they do not give proper training for customer service jobs, or they are scammers with tv commercials. Plus, a plan that is $55.00 has 0 hotspot.

So last nite my bridge pay was up,I called them,the prompt said to leave any amount to avoid late fee,this morning I went to cricket Stafford,the girl said I must pay 60 .00 but I just paid 15 last nite she didn't care ,60 nothing less ,she was very rude so I just dropped cricket ,their too greedy.lost my 15 dollars but at least I don't have to worry about greedy cricket & the rude obnoxious people working for them,good riddance.

Rude ...14 dollars over billed. They susspended my service. Never happened before. I got covid i cannot go in store to scan my new debit card. I am disabled and tried tallking to them. They refused to take payment over phone. So for that i have added fees. But guess what they suspended. My accoount and now took my payment. Ridiculous....between 1 and 2 daily phone wont let me go online...i wish i never went

I would never use cricket again I wouldn't recommend nobody to cricket your better off at metro then cricket. It don't matter how long you been with them if you pay your bill on time they add on extra money you make a bridge payment of 60 for 7 days you turn around and think your paying 30 more more why your paying 40 dollars more because it's 10 dollars to do bridge pay when they don't disclose that on the phone when you do it. And all they keep saying is we understand no yall don't if yall have a better phone company to go to go with them not CRICKET WIRELESS

I was sent a defective iPhone that cricket refused to replace, they referred me to apple. Apple asked me to just pay for a new phone. Tried for over a week to get this resolved, hours of hold music while I waited for the next representative, repeatedly only to be told I should cancel the line for a refund and just order a new line which I would pay 3months of service up front and lose credit for the 3 months I’ve ALREADY paid but can’t use. Customer service is joke and got me NOWHERE. If I purchase a phone from cricket they should be responsible for sending me a phone that works!

Horrible phone company. If not on automatic payments and make a payment late they charge a $5 reactivation fee. This company nickles and dimes you for everything. The service is not very good. Leaving Cricket is not easy either. Taking a very long time for them to transfer my number back to the company I came from. DO NOT GET THIS PHONE CARRIER! Customer service is not good, that's if you can even get a hold of them.

Cricket is the worst company that I have ever encountered. Rip you off and laugh in your face. More money more money is what they are about. If you call customer service have lunch packed. Every time at least 10 min wait, usually 20 to 30 min. For a huge provider they have part time customer service, you have to call banker hours to talk with someone in a far off that can't speak English. In store the RUDEST people I have ever encountered. Went to a cricket store to get a replacement battery. Cricket dosen't sell batteries for the item they sold you, you are on your own.

Believe ALL of the negative reviews! I don’t have enough space to write my entire review. Bottom line they (Michael) admitted and noted on my account that HE cancelled my service in error. Another rep (Kristian) verified the same however they want you to pay for their error. I w/be charged 25$ to restore my line (when it wasn’t my error). Reps Michael, & Kristian, hung up after being asked to trf to a supervisor and Oliver transferred to a dead line no one answers. It’s not worth the headache on the end. If you don’t HAVE to use Cricket- don’t!

I received a defective phone, the keyboard glitched and wouldn't type correctly. I had to speak to 8 different reps regarding this issue and spent 4 hours of my time. Cricket wouldn't exchange for a new phone, instead they made me do a return. Cricket also won't refund my $25 activation fee, even though the phone was defective and they wouldn't replace it. I have to eat that money and still need a new phone. They have become the WORST service ever.

Cricket doesn't deserve even one star. My mobile hotspot doesn't ever work but they keep taking my money. The highest plan should come with mobile hotspot and HBOmax but It doesn't ever work. I always have to call several times and waste at least 2hours of my time before they finally rectify my mobile hotspot every month in order for me to connect my laptop to my mobile hotspot. I am extremely aggravated because now it's affecting my business and I'm spending additional money to get internet on my laptop.

I received a text message from cricket that they will not support my phone from Feb 22, 2022. Therefore, I ordered a new phone and was expecting it before the date. However, they disconnected and suspended my service while I was waiting for my new phone on Feb 07, 2022 which I have more than two weeks left for the due date. Having too much trouble since I have no working phone. REDICULOUS!!!!

Cricket customer service is the worst.. I also have autopay setup, but they still suspended my service and then wanted me to pay a reinstatement fee, like it's my fault for screwing up. I have spoken to cricket customer service every day for the last few days and still have messed up my account.. I've been a loyal customer for years, but I'm thinking of leaving this network.. I'm am SO frustrated with them right now. Can't even speak to a supervisor, but yet he sends his minons back and forth to try resolve issues.. maybe too scared to speak with me. 🤬😡

I used to like Cricket. My bill for two lines was $68. Then I applied for the Emergency Broadband benefit. Which is $50. So my bill should be $18, right? No. They made me switch to a higher plan. Okay. Whatever. So my bill then was $39. I do the Add it Up app on their phone to get money off. This month I did $17 worth of rewards, so my bill should be $22, correct? Nope! It is $70. What a rip off. They are scamming me and will scam you. Go somewhere else.

Worked great until 8 months ago. Now my service gets cut off every month or so. Due to no fault of my on. Dropped calls can't receive calls . Can't send text can't receive text. Then next day every thing works fine. Then next day can't send or receive anything. Call cricket they say try this do this. It's your phone they say I say my phone is new. They ok not your phone I have called them 20 times in last 8 months. Very unhappy.

Prepare to be treated like garbage if u want to upgrade ur phone. Cricket may offer a good deal when u switch to their service but it is the first and last time u will get treated fairly. After joining u pay outrageous upgrade prices, presumably to pay for the great deals offered to those switching companies. Really poor customer service , internet speeds and treatment of existing customers.
