I started searching for a good warranty for a “new to me” 2007 Mini Cooper. The car is gorgeous and I want to keep it that way. After speaking with 4 different companies is was obvious to me that CARCHEX offered the best coverage for the price. I’m ecstatic!

I finally chose a vehicle warranty company and after all homework and reading reviews...I chose the wrong company. Very poor service and will not pay for service claim. I feel like I was mislead. Very, very disappointed.

Only the cancelling was difficult.. I said I had severe macular degeneration & could no longer drive. That should have been it, but the agent insisted I HAD TO listen to all the other options I could choose instead. He HAD TO do this!? Finally I asked if I could answer now. His answer was "not yet!". I was actually WAITING for HIM to finish , like a petulant child! My obligation was to call to cancel my contract NOT to help him keep HIS job.

Spent 5k for an extended warranty on my used truck. Long story short, they use NADA trade in values to determine value of your vehicle (lowest possible value) and regardless of how much you spent on the policy, they will cover only up to that amount. Sales guys will never explain that part to you. I spent 5k on $2400 in covered repairs. Asked for a refund and I am supposed to getting $200 as a refund. They won't cover repairs regardless of my truck being in the mileage and timeframe of the contract and kept $2200 of my money. Total scam for anyone with a used vehicle. STAY AWAY!
The Final Word
Both have a nice selection of extended warranties, though CARCHEX has a few more plans to choose from. With CARCHEX, clients can choose to add coverage for their car’s key fob, emissions, and luxury electronics. The ability to customize a coverage plan is a nice feature of CARCHEX’s extended warranties. More choices and the ability to add coverage are advantages of working with CARCHEX.
While both CARCHEX and Endurance are excellent choices for buying an extended car warranty, CARCHEX offers a few more plan options and the ability to customize coverage. These options and features give it a slight edge over Endurance.
