National Auto Coverage was established based on an industry need that was recognized by its founders: quality customer service. National Auto Coverage aims to put customers first and provide eligible vehicles with strong warranties. Yet, specifics on these warranties are unknown and there are a few red flags with this company that potential customers should take into account.

Various Plan Options

National Auto Coverage has a couple of different plans for car warranties. The company has the Platinum Plus and Gold Plus plans. However, the details of these plans are not readily available on the company’s website. The costs and length terms of these warranty plans are unknown. National Auto Coverage warranties can cover all makes and models of cars, so with approval, any car owner can obtain a car warranty from National Auto Coverage. 

Customer Service Vision

The company’s website acknowledges that many car warranty companies have bad reputations. This is often because it can be highly difficult for customers to obtain approval on their claims, as other companies nit-pick every little issue with a vehicle. National Auto Coverage was founded with a customer service vision, with the intention of providing high quality and supportive customer service. 

Provide Rental Cars During Repairs

It appears that National Auto Coverage can cover repairs across the country, but what do you do while the repair is taking place? National Auto Coverage will fund the first full day of a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired. This allows you to get the repair done without the hassle of major changes to your daily schedule.

Misleading Website

The National Auto Coverage website features images of badges and company awards. One of the featured badges is a Best Company “Top 3 Ranked” badge. However, up until now, the company has not had a profile written on BestCompany.com or received an official rating. For these reasons, this badge is misleading. 

Low BBB Rating

National Auto Coverage is not accredited by the Better Business Bureau. Plenty of companies without BBB accreditation still have A or A+ ratings on BBB.org. When it comes to National Auto Coverage, the company has received an F rating on top of its lack of accreditation. 

The company has been in business for two years, and the reason for this rating is that there have been more than 10 unresolved customer complaints since the business was started. According to the BBB, National Auto Coverage has not attempted to resolve these issues. 

Poor Phone Communication

Customer reviews online indicate that National Auto Coverage has somewhat poor phone communication. First, many reviews complain that the company has countless outgoing spam calls and uses telemarketers. Many of the reviews for National Auto Coverage are from heated customers who receive calls from the company too frequently. 

On the flip side, others complain that the company is unresponsive to customer calls. While the company’s aim and vision is to provide top customer service, it seems from previous customer experience that this is not quite the case.

Being a female and at times not so sharp with auto warranties, National Auto Coverage clarified many parks explained and answered questions I had about some concerns on my vehicle. Very polite gave me call back with any questions that later came to mind. I couldn't ask for more. Efficient, knowledgeable on how to go about inquiring about others warranty programs that are not what they seem! Very pleased with any concerns I may have. Best coverage available next to a brand new warranty! Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback, however, our company policy is to directly pay any repair facility over the phone. If a repair was done and a reimbursement needed to be issued that check is usually done within 24-48 hours as long as we have all of the documentation
