DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They made the entire process very frustrating! I did EVERYTHING THEY ASK including having my OWN financing! I uploaded all my paperwork to the their website as requested. However, they would not even give me a call to advise me that my car was going to be delayed, not once, not twice but three times! I AM PAYING INTEREST ON A LOAN FOR A VEHICLE THEY PROMISED THREE WEEKS AGO! The first excuse was the battery then AFTER I CALLED TO SEE WHY IT WAS DELAYED AGAIN I was told they cant verify if the car is even in their inventory. Im thinking well how did you know the battery needed to be replaced if now you cant find the car. I started getting skeptical and looked up the reviews and a lot of people were complaining that the cars had water damage, rust and smells of mold in some of the cars. Even the car that I was looking at had only 14K miles and it was 6 years old....so it made me wonder had it been sitting. It could be just speculation but the care in which they just send a text on a purchase that consists of thousands of dollars just seems a little concerning! What even shocked me after that, was when I canceled my order. No one called and asked why or address my concerns and the car was posted RIGHT BACK ON THE WEBSITE AS AVAILABLE. BUYERS BEWARE! DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND I actually found going to the dealership wasn't bad at all. At least you can touch and see the car you are about to spend thousands on and even if salespeople are there to SELL you a car that you leave with it and not wait WEEKS just to get another text to say your car has been delayed AGAIN!!!

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM CARVANA!!!!! SELLING YOUR IS EASY BUT GETTING THE REGISTER DONE FOR THE NEW VEHICLE IS A NIGHTMARE! No one will take responsibility for their lack of processing the paperwork. I purchase a SUV 7/31/20 and today 11/13/20, I am still waiting for their third party vendor to process the paperwork and get to DMV. Today, I was told unable to transfer for old plates to new car because my plates expired 10/31/20. Well, yes I sold my car on 7/31/20 and they have neglected to get DMV the paperwork until yesterday. THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS MESS!!! I'm driving around on expired plates since 9/12/20. Carvana needs better vendors and associates who can push paperwork through. I have called them every week throughout this mess.

I purchased a Hyundai Genesis from Carvana and it was inaccurately listed as all-wheel drive - it was actually rear-wheel drive. They had several cars mislabeled. Also disappointed in financing. The interest rate jumped 2% if I did not want autopay (despite having excellent credit). If you call customer service, expect to be on hold for at least an hour. I am still waiting for my car to be registered almost 3 months after purchasing the car. First they said they needed a form filled out and they would FedEx it to me and I was to FedEx it back. After 2 weeks and several texts and emails I never received the form. I gave in and called customer service (again waiting over an hour on hold) and they emailed me the form. I returned it the next day and did not hear a thing for over a month. Then they send me an email saying they need proof of insurance despite my having provided it already - they won't release the car to you without proof of insurance. It has now been another week since I sent the proof of insurance and still waiting on registration. Only thing that has gone right is the drop off and pick up. The gentleman was courteous and pickup went off with no issues. Car is good. Administratively, they suck.

I wasted 2 days dealing with carvana on getting a car. I did the application applied my trade in sent my statements in and everything I signed the contract setup delivery even changed my car insurance policy to the new vehicle per there request and now I no longer have insurance on my old vehicle thanks to carvana. They changed my contract several times had me apply for loans. I’m a victim of identity theft and in the process of fixing my credit and thanks to carvana and them having me contact all these loan and bank companies I now have as of this morning 28 new hard inquiries on my reports that said will last for the next 25 months. So now my credit is being shot down and my apartment I’m moving to denied me now because of too many inquiries on my reports in just 2 days. I’ve signed the car contract I believe 3 different times for them. And now there saying my income is not enough for them. The car I’m getting is only 12,250 and my yearly income is over 40,000 so how is that not enough. It seem like when I told them my job was a adult gay male film star that’s when everything changed because the first application I was approved for without any issues I just had to do my trade in and pay 893.00 cash but all that changed to me paying a few thousand dollars down and having to get a car way cheaper that probably would have way too many miles. I will never go through carvana ever in my life. My brother and daughter are testing their cars with them now and still in there 7 days trial. And since I am paying out of pocket for there cars I will be having carvana pick these cars up and all 3 of us will do business else where. I will let all my family and friends and coworkers know never to use carvana because they will leave you high and dry and will mess your credit up and have you taking out loans you really don’t need. So thank you carvana for the messed up experience. -100 stars from me.

Carava simply is in business to control the transaction and prey upon consumers who find they must have a vehivle to function and the company takes advantage of those consumers that are already Under some financial stress They overprice tge cars They demand sometimes a heavy down payment on top so then a high interest rate finance and boom you have a deal But remember their portocol is they don’t nehgotiate donuts a take it or leave it transaction While good companies should make a fair to possible a top end price This is financial tape of the consumers who are in a situation as I described So no problem if you make a profit but shame in you for ripping people off by design

This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I bought my car 5 months ago, and Carvana charged me a registration fee but did not process the registration with DMV. I have called more than a dozen times to get the issue fixed, but they keep telling me that my registration is "pending". I've had to go to DMV and get a temporary operation permit and pay hundreds of dollars, but I cannot fully register my vehicle until Carvana completes the process on their end. When I call I ask to have a manager call me and they keep saying that I have to be called back but they never do. I am now driving without registration and there is nothing that I can do about it. I will NEVER use this company again.

Horrible experience with Carvana's customer service. Car buying process was easy, but registration process and customer service has been AWEFUL! When the car was dropped off, the employee said she would call me back regarding the out of state vin inspection that would require me to register my car in my home state. Never got a call. Process was going smoothly, Carvana had received my paperwork, and my registration was allegedly being processed. Then I was receiving emails and phone calls that I was missing documentation. I proceeded to call Carvana, wait up to 3 hours on hold, just to be told to disregard the emails and my registration was fine. I continued to call their customer service after a month of hearing nothing, and SEVERAL times I was told by a Carvana employee that they would call me back when they were able to get in contact with their registration team (approximately an hour) and every time I never received a call back. This then required me to call and wait again and again just to explain my situations and frustration to someone completely new. Still no registration. Driving on expired plates all because Carvana can't pick up the phone. Very disappointed!

This is a review of actually receiving your car once you choose one and get financing approved. Choosing a car was relatively easy. I wish the picture were higher resolutions as you can't always see details regarding tire brand or paint condition. Applying for financing was very easy. Selecting a vehicle and receiving financing took me all of 30 minutes! Perfect! I picked a day that was 4 days away to pick it up at he vending machine (because it seemed pretty cool!). The night (6pm) before I was to pick it up I received a message that stated: "We're sorry to inform you that your car has been delayed as we have identified a concern that is outside of our standards that needs to be addressed prior to delivery." They rescheduled for 2 weeks away! I no longer wanted that vehicle since I found out it had body damage, I can only assume during their shipping. So...I picked a new car. Great, no problem, documents changed, schedule a date. Now I schedule for delivery. It will be delivered in 2 days on Saturday morning which is perfect because I usually travel during the week. 1 am, day of delivery, they text me with the exact same message as before!! This time they tell me they can't locate the keys and they need to reschedule. Guess when?? Same day that were delaying the other vehicle. Monday, the 26th of October! 11 days away. Well I travel and can't be there so October 31st is the earliest I can get it. A full 3 weeks from when I first started my purchasing. What is going to be the next delay??? If you need a car soon then DON'T buy from Carvana. I find it hard to believe they can deliver as promised or I'm just having bad luck. I should've bought from a local dealer. Sure I would've have been in there for 4 hours and gone through all the crap we hate about car dealerships but I would have left with a car that day. I'll update once and if I actually receive a car.

Dealing with carvana has got to be the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with anywhere in the retail world. The day of delivery of my 2017 Audi a seven I waited around all day for my delivery no confirmation no call for cancellation by the end of the day there was no car. The next day no call, I waited the other day and called and they said they were on available for delivery of the day that I was expecting my car. The car shows up and it appears to be a nice looking vehicle and I accept upon further inspection of the vehicle I start noticing other things wrong with it the paint on the bumper does not match and there’s a few things out of place, like a coolant smell and a weird grinding from the brakes. I immediately get on the horn to have Carvana fix the paint issue I did spend almost a month in the autobody shop getting the bumper fixed from a previous accident from before I own the vehicle. Carvana claims they sell accident free vehicles but this $40,000 vehicle had been in an accident. And now that there’s other mechanical issues with the car like the brakes wearing out in less than 4000 miles of the purchase of my vehicle Garrett one of their supervisors is telling me I’m on my own because those are wearable items. I then told him they were already worn when I bought the vehicle and they need to be replaced. They flat out sold me a vehicle that had worn out brakes and are now telling me I am on the hook to pay. Everything about my experience with carvana I have been dissatisfied with. Their supervisors will not do anything for you they will tell you they will look into something and get back to you in a day and they will never call you back. The supervisor I deal with named Garrett told me numerous times he would call me back and I waited several days if not weeks at times before calling him back only to have to wait and get the runaround before I can get in touch with him and yell and scream at all of his associates before I can get in contact with him. This company does nothing but offer their customers their run around after the sale is complete. They sure had great communication with me before I made a sale of my vehicle but shortly after that I didn’t hear much from anyone. Buyer beware for sure. These guys are buying questionable cars from questionable auto auctions and putting the minimum out of work on them and polishing these things up and making them look like gyms. They are nothing more than questionable vehicles that have not been inspected properly. My vehicle had a 150 points inspection Supposedly but when I drove the vehicle around about 200 miles a light came on on the dash saying that it was low on oil which is weird that it was supposedly changed shortly before I bought it. Be careful with carvana and their third-party inspections. I feel completely ripped off and taking advantage of. After tax and licensing the vehicle I purchase was $45,000 and now they turn their nose to me like I’m some kind of piece of garbage when I have problems with this lemon of a vehicle that they sold me

Absolute Disaster of an experience from start to finish. After finding the vehicle my wife wanted on September 8th, we then tried to schedule a delivery date. My wife is pregnant at this time and wanted to make sure we would get the vehicle before her due date. The first available date of delivery was October 1st. Almost a month after the purchase/process. Because of COVID, we understood there may be a little delay, so we accepted that day. A day before delivery...yes, a day, we were told there was a problem with transportation, and they had to push the date back to October 5th. This was not good because that was the due date for my wife to give birth. So, we pushed it to the next available date which was October 9th. And wouldn't you believe it, we get a call the evening before saying there was yet ANOTHER delay to delivery. Are you kidding me?!?!?! Even after pushing the next available date of delivery back, there were still issues? So... after very little help and concern from Carvana customer service, we were told October 13th it would guaranteed be delivered. We asked if there were any issues with the car because now, we are concerned of its condition. We were told absolutely not, it's only the delivery that is causing the issues. We finally received the vehicle on October 13th and took it in to our mechanic to do a quick overlook to make sure it was in good driving shape the following morning. Our mechanic got back to us with a ton of issues. A very serious transmission leak, missing studs from both exhaust manifolds which said the engine has been taking out of the vehicle for some reason, codes for issues with antilock brakes/AC system, and the driver’s side floor mat somehow went missing between the purchase to delivery. I called the customer service for Carvana and was on hold for over a half hour and explained everything to her over the phone. I was told that Carvana and their team does a 150-degree safety check on the vehicle before delivery. There is 150% no way that happened with this vehicle because these were very noticeable issues that did not get monitored or presented to us. We've now scheduled a Return and Pick up because we do not want this car that is not drivable or fit to be sold. The next pickup date is not for 5 days so it has to sit in our driveway for that long. A lot of lies, fabrications, and overall bad experience with Carvana. I wish I could give them zero stars because this has been a disaster. I recommend using any alternative other than Carvana.

I bought a Mercedes GLA250 about a month ago. I signed all my documents, got my loan, and my date of delivery. I sent in all documents requested. No one called me. I didn’t hear anything from the company, so all was well, right?! Wrong. We had our scheduled date and time. I logged onto my account to change my time of delivery because I realized I took that day off from work. I hit ‘edit’ on the site to change my delivery time, but nothing happened. So I logged off. 4!days before delivery, I received a notice that my car was unavailable. I call, they tell me that it has been sold to someone else. They said it was my fault... when I hit ‘edit’ and didn’t make changes, I unlocked my car and someone else bought it. What?! Never again!!! I will buy a car from the lot and drive it off knowing the deal is complete and won’t be sold to someone else.

I watched carvanna for over 6 months looking at the trucks that I wanted. They had quite a few but they where all way over priced. Most of them 5-8k over kbb value. Then finally, one of the trucks that met my criteria finally became a reasonable price. The purchasing process was relatively painless and I was told that I would hear back soon and get a delivery date scheduled. About a week later, they got back with me and gave me a couple of options, either have the vehicle delivered to my door from the carvanna dealer that is roughly 2 and a half hours away by a third party, or have the vehicle delivered to a convinience store location within carvanna's delivery range and have it delivered by a carvanna truck and do all the registration with the representative right there on the spot. So I opted with the second option because it was not a very far drive from my home and I wouldn't have to hassel with shipping registration back to carvanna. I had them schedule the delivery time for 2:30, the latest possible time, on a week day. No real issues so far. My dad and I both took a half day off of work to go to the convinience store and receive the truck. We got there a little early and waited till 3, a half hour after scheduled delivery. I called carvanna and got placed on the typical call line with a wait longer then 30 minutes according to the automated recording. I'm a pretty patient guy and know that crazy things happen so I wasn't super worried about it. I received my return call, explained the situation and was put on hold for a few minutes when the representative got back with me and told me he was contacting the dealer. I was put on another hold that ended up hitting an hour and the call ended. At this point I was incredible annoyed. I had been waiting and on hold for 2 hours and haven't heard a word from Carvanna. Then after about 2 and a half hours, I received a call from the original representative I spoke with and he gave me a bs excuse that there weren't enough delivery drivers and it is still sitting 2 and a half hours away at there dealer. I was floored. My dad and I both had just taken half a day off work, sat at a convinience store where the delivery was scheduled for almost 3 hours just to be told that it was 2 and a half hours away. I should have received a phone call at noon or so saying that they couldn't deliver it that day. That would not have been a big deal. Instead I wasted all that time and was put on hold all that time with no answer. I cannot believe I spent this amount of money and was treated like this. So unprofessional. Not a good first impression or a good way to do business. So after all this, the soonest they could deliver it was 5 days later. I can't believe I spent that kind of money, and was treated like that. And such a garbage excuse. No way to treat a high paying customer. So coming full circle, the majority of the vehicles I've seen on carvanna are far over priced and they don't know how to treat a customer. I tried to let carvanna make it right by offering me some kind of reimbursement, and they wouldn't. Wouldn't even waive the delivery fee. Really goes to show how much they care. They really dropped the ball and when they had a chance to make it right, they made it clear they are more worried about making as much money as possible over trying to make the moment right. If you buy carvanna, know full well that they are not going take responsibility for there short comings and they know that they can sell it to someone else and not take a hit. They know you are expendable. I cancelled the vehicle knowing full well that it wouldn't really affect carvanna. I just couldn't give them my money knowing how they handled it. I will tell everyone I know my experience and how unprofessional carvanna was. I'm incredibly irritated and disappointed.

I purchased a vehicle and scheduled it to be delivered. They suggested on a Sunday. When the vehicle arrived, I was told that since it was Sunday, they weren't able to get the Smog check or VIN inspection so I would have to do it and then mail the documents back to Carvana to have them register the vehicle. No forewarning of this. I was excited to get the vehicle so I grudgingly agreed. When the temporary plates expired and I still had no registration, plates, or title, I reached out to the Carvana - they had not texted me or posted anything on my Carvana Dashboard (their website). They told me I would have to work it out with my DMV. Due to Covid, my DMV is not taking calls, and you can only go in by appointment only, which they have none for 3 months. I reached out to Carvana to tell them this and they said there is nothing they can do. I am still waiting for registration, plates, and title while the vehicle sits in my driveway because it is illegal to drive, and it will stay that way for at least 3 more months (possibly more) unless Carvana comes through with the registration before then. I am not sure what they were doing with the registration since they didn't give the documents to their "third party car registering service" until after my temporary plates had already expired. Carvana sold me a car that it is illegal to drive.

Great concept but those in the PNW can't trade in vehicles unless they drive to las vegas or Las Angeles the closest Carvana location to Portland Oregon. Their website doesn't flag that you're out of their "local" area so I thought they'd drop off my new and take my trade, however, that's not possible for those in the PNW. After they apologized a lot they admitted some errors on their website and lack of flags for out-of-market or area customers on their website and were willing to pay the vehicle delivery fee for free. I will use them in the future only if they get a location in the PNW.

Two months ago I purchased a truck from Carvana went through the 150 point inspection etc everything seemed great. Drove to El Paso Friday 8/28/20 and half way there we noticed a sound like something was stuck in the tire…checked tires nothing found…continued on our drive. Sunday we get up for breakfast and the sound is more prominent. Call Carvana they state they can’t help me and transfer me to Silverrock who says the preferred vendor is Pep Boys. Took the truck to pep boys who stated the transmission was bad there was water and metal shavings of some sort and that we wouldn’t make it back to AZ driving it. Charged me 30$ for this diagnostic and couldn’t provide any further suggestions. Called Carvana again to find out if I can get a rental car home, should I tow the truck back to AZ or what my options would be. The advocate stated I should find a shop out of network and go through Silverrock…I was transferred to Silverrock who stated the same thing. I asked if there was a shop I should take it too and they recommended the Pep Boys even after I explained I had been there already. So I googled some shops and did it on my own. Had to pay for another night in the hotel, food and a lyft to and from our football game. Monday comes I drive the car to Westside transmission for them to do a diagnostic. I get it back and they state the transmission looks great nothing wrong with it but the rear differential is out and leaking fluid (the same fluid a pep boys associate said was the transmission). They don’t work on anything but transmissions so I need to take it to another shop. Take a lyft back to the hotel and pay for another night. Call Carvana back and was on the line for 90 minutes until I got Amanda who by the way during the whole 36+ hours was the ONLY person to help in any sort of way. She found a Ford shop for me to take the car to early Tuesday morning. She was professional and definitely went above and beyond to help me. Took the car to the Viva Ford shop Tuesday morning and waited for a diagnostic. While we waited I called again to find out if I can get a rental car as I have now missed two days of work and was told I am unable to get one until a diagnostic has been run….even though I’ve had several. Apparently that option is only available if the facility calls to start a claim and have the ability to resolve the issue. So all 3 diagnostics were invalid unless they were able to be fixed. Viva ford starts a claim and I’m still unable to get a rental car as they haven’t stated if it will take longer than 8 hours to fix. After my 5th lyft ride I just went to Hertz got a rental and drove home. To sum it up I’ve now paid Pep Boys 30$ for the wrong diagnostic. I’ve paid for another 60$ night in a hotel…40$ for dinner. Monday I pay for another night in the hotel 60$ another 40$ dinner and Westside transmissions diagnostic was 50$. Taking a lyft back and forth totaling 70$ dollars. Rental car because I wasn’t going to wait all week for Carvana/Silverrock to give me an update…343$. In total I’ve missed two days of work and spent $693 and my truck is still not fixed and I’ve gotten no response. I called every day for a week asking to speak to someone in executive resolution and I’ve been told the call could not be transferred. So I will call every day until I get a response…if the car was thoroughly inspected the issue with the rear differential would have been found and fixed prior to being sold. Within the last 14 days I’ve received one call from a lead named Sara and nothing further. The car was fixed on Friday and I had to take a greyhound bus to pick it up. Also spent another 60$ for a hotel so I was safe driving back to AZ. Never received a call on how I was going to get my truck back. Lastly I have several friends and family that all work at Carvana and only went through this company because of what I’ve heard about the car buying experience. I have never been more disappointed in the lack of care or empathy provided by a company.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I want customers to know what they have to expect from Carvana. They gave me a 45 day temporary plate... they didn’t actually submit for the registration, title, plate and tags until 18 Aug 2020 (mind you I purchased the vehicle 8 July 2020). I received my plates, registration and tags 4 days prior to my temp expiring. This is not the issue... the issues is somehow they messed up and registered the vehicle with a lien holder to Carvana instead of my bank. I’m active duty Army and here I am scheduled to move overseas and my bank doesn’t have a title so they can’t do a lien holder authorization to allow my vehicle to go outside the U.S. Thus, Carvana had my title since 19 August 2020. Here I am with ZERO financial responsibility to CARVANA who decided they want to be the lien holder to my vehicle when my vehicle was purchased via loan thru my bank - the proper lien holder! CARVANA has not been supportive in correcting the issue and I’m ready to take legal action! The customer support I received is non-existent and their practice has clearly allowed them to conduct a illegal transaction. They are not the lien holder.

Well i knew someone who bought a car from carvana and had a good experience, so i decided to buy one! I bought it july 8th and recieved it july 28th, which i get it im far from normal dealing states. But i recieved it and the brakes were so bad it shimmied and barely comes to a stop. Plus the back bumper was all a flop from a broken attachment piece. I immediately notified them i was told the brakes would be covered and bumper piece was questionable id need to send pics of that. So i did that and also was asked to send a quote from a mechanic for both so i did that, now 2 months later after numerous times trying to contact them etc they are saying they wont cover either! Very disappointed in them as i have had to wait on hold for hours be told someone would get back to me, and no one has ever gotten back to me! I feel when you are going to be spending over 20,000 on a vehicle that it would come in the condition as they said it was. Especially when you are buying online so have no way of knowing til it gets here, then are reassured it would be covered during the 7day return and miraculously after the 7 days you get told they will not cover the things that the vehicle showed up with that was not told about! Especially when they supposedly do a 150 point inspection! Absolute craziness, next time ill just buy at my local dealership to ensure i get what im paying for! Total rip off

Word of advice: when you get the car, take it to a mechanic YOU trust. Carvana doesn’t offer that 7 day guarantee for nothing. We bought a car and had to return it two days later. It stated that the car went through a thorough inspection, but when I took the car to get looked at by my own mechanic, it needed new brakes, new rotors(current ones were corroded), a new air filter, and a couple other things. Now these were all things that they marked on the inspection list. Then when we tried to go through their warranty company, Silver Rock, no one could get a hold of them. I had a friend who worked for Silver Rock and said they do everything possible to not pay for a repair. Normally, these things are wear and tear, but the fact that Carvana signed off them as if all these things were in good standing, that’s what really upset me. Either they don’t really do an inspection or they just don’t care and sign off.

They showed up with a check that was roughly about $320.00 less than the appraisal I accepted. Told me I’d get it all back from the lender on my car within about a month since it’s all based on the payoff I provided. A month goes by, my car lender tells me they received about $430 less than Carvana said they would pay them, and again the check they brought me was about $320 short of the appraisal. This is a SCAM!! I have tried to contact them and I’m either told the system is down or I conveniently get disconnected! Such terrible service and they don’t put notes in the file apparently since I have to explained it every time I call in! Referring to the business bureau since they can’t get me an answer or the money they owe me. Terrible.

The day of delivery I was advised that the reverse camera was not working at all. I had to take to Audi dealer and have it replaced. Customer service if frightful. You are on hold for ages and even f you do opt-in for a call back, they call back and put you back in a queue again! Several times the phone just hung up. Incredibly frustrating. The chat feature is pathetic. It just spits out automated respones. As for the registration process...they were to handle the transfer of plates. The temporary plates expire August 31. They had sent nothing to the DMV until August 27 and that was only because I called a million times, sent emails and Facebook messenger messages to followup. Finally, the 'dashboard' is updated to say they sent the paperwork to the DMV. They had 45 days of just sitting on all the paperwork! Any time you think you are saving by buying from them will result in you spending more time making up for their errors. Go to Carmax!

I was hoping it wouldn’t come to this but I have given Carvana every opportunity to make things right to no avail. Our car was delivered on March 2nd and today is August 17th and we still have no tags for our car. We have been told that they do not even have the title to our car. No one returns phone call, emails, etc. I literally can’t do anything with this car without a title. It has been sitting in my garage since May 4th when my second temp tag expired. Now I am paying for a car that I can’t even drive. I was patient in the beginning because I understand there is a pandemic but more then 5 months later and no answers is unacceptable. I’m writing this in hopes that it will save someone else from having to deal with a similar situation.

This was the worse online experience I personally went through with attempting to order a vehicle online. I went through two vehicle orders before deciding to discontinue my vehicle purchase as I was given no details as to why each vehicle was taking longer than the recommended 5-15 days to be shipped. Each vehicle purchase order was delayed and I was constantly requesting updates with no joy. My down payment is going on almost three weeks to be refunded to my account. The answer I was given when I called for an update was "this may have slipped through the cracks". Two months later, no vehicle, three hard credit checks against my name (I almost committed to do a third purchase as all I was told was there were 'issues' with the vehicles), and nothing to show for it. You have been warned...

My experience was a nightmare. I'll just write some important points from the experience:•Used car I sent back was practically a lemon •They were going to try to make me pay a pick up fee to my non delivery location even though the car couldn't make it by their fault •Car was brought with practically no charge(red flag)and the delivery driver was in a rush to get going(very sketchy) •Price to pay off the loan was not fair even for a used car(was pretty much not worth much with a fried battery) •Said the car was fine on the sheet I got(later on a headlight bulb was loose and fell through the bottom leaving a melted hole which was definetly noticeable though they did nothing) *After months of trying and failing to get another car that was going to be possibly another lemon I went to my local GM Dealer. So worth paying a 500 monthly payment for the next 5 years with a trusted company then be lazy trying to get something online that's most important which is something you need to drive to and from with* *I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP THIS IS ALL TRUE PLEASE JUST AVOID THIS AND SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS OF BEING CAR LESS* :)

If you want hassle free and easy, forget carvana. I get that they may be short staffed due to Covid-19, but due to their oversight my RTA has to be corrected TWICE and each time I had to contact someone to get this changed it was OVER and hour wait time. There is an option where you can have them call you back so you aren’t on the phone waiting, and they promise you won’t lose your spot in line, but I never got my phone call. Ended up cancelling the whole thing after the all day headache it caused me. They needed an RTA to be signed by the insurance company, the insurance company needed registration numbers, had to call carvana again because they forgot to include this on the form. they need insurance company to email them signed copies of RTA, insurance company doesn’t email important personal information, only fax, carvana doesn’t accept faxes ONLY pdf files. I’m sure I am not the first person with Progressive insurance to buy a car from carvana. Why haven’t these two companies come to an agreement? When I got my third phone call from carvana telling me they didn’t have my signed RTA yet (not to address the issues on their end) I told the associate how unsatisfied I was with the process she didn’t seem to care or try to fix the problem. Also, if you are in Massachusetts, it will take three whole business days to get your plates. Your car will sit in the driveway and count as your 7 day money back guarantee days. Buyer beware! For headaches and all day anxiety, shop with carvana.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. I purchased a vehicle from them about 2 months ago. Everything went smoothly at first. The car was delivered and had scratches and a gap on the rear hatch where the vehicle had obviously been rear ended at some point and repaired. (there was no accident reported on the carfax.)These scratches and gap were not documented in the photos that were advertised on the website. I was told by the delivery driver that he would report the damage and it would most likely be taken care of. I called Carvana that same evening to report the additional damage and to find out what I needed to do, and if the damages would be covered. Obviously if they would not be covered, I had planned on returning the vehicle within the 7 day window. I wanted to call right away to make sure that they knew that the vehicle was delivered in that condition, and find out if it would be taken care of or not, before deciding to keep the vehicle. I was assured multiple times by different employees that the damages would be covered, but that they had to take some extra steps because normally the carvana warranty does not cover cosmetic damages, so in my case, it would need to be approved first. I was told the only thing that needed to be done was pictures needed to be sent of the damage to Carvana. The repair shop that I chose sent pictures of the damage to both carvana and the warranty company Silver Rock, MULTIPLE TIMES. I had been waiting about a month for a response, and finally called Carvana, which was 2 days ago. I spoke to someone named Robert, who was very nice and looked into this issue for me. He told me that based on the information that he found out and who he spoke to, they were just waiting on photos of the damage in order to move things along. I told him photos had been sent multiple times of the damage by the repair shop. He then told me that apparently I had to send the photos of the damage, not the repair company. I'm not sure why they would need to come from be, but I was never told that the photos had to be sent from myself. I assumed the repair company did that part, which they did multiple times. So I had the repair facility send me the photos, and I forwarded the photos to Carvana. I received an email today saying that the damage will not be covered. I was very upset! So I called them today and spoke to someone named Christina and she basically told me that since they were waiting for the pictures of the damage for so long, that they closed the case and will no longer cover the damage. I asked her why if they were still waiting on photos, which I was under the assumption had already been sent multiple times, why they wouldn't reach out to me and tell me that? Especially since I have no idea that this needed to be done within a certain time frame. I asked to speak to a supervisor, or a number for a supervisor and she said she did not have one, and that all she could do was have a supervisor call me within 72 hours, but it would not do any good because the decision was final. This is the absolute worst customer service that I have ever experienced, and would never recommend anybody purchasing a car from this company. I know I will never purchase another car from them. I cannot explain enough how terrible of an experience this has been. I am now apparently stuck with a car that was falsely advertised and there's nothing that can be done about it? I think I will be contacting my lawyer. Stay away from this company!!!

Very unhappy with customer service when I received my car late they did right by it but two days after receiving my car I had to get a brand new battery which cost me $135 I want to advocate told me that they could not read first before that which was OK with me then I temporary license plate expired and now my car has been parked In my driveway for over 14 days I cannot drive it had to rent a car to go back-and-forth to work and the worst part is nobody could give me a straight answer on when it is going to be here I was told last Friday that it was with their third party and should be on its way soon come to find out today they’re telling me it is still at DMV being processed and meantime I’m a single mom with four kids who has two full-time jobs and now I don’t have transportation so I had to rent a rental car for $1400 for the First week and because I can’t afford to do that again I am now using on my sick time waiting to be able to drive my car

Run far away. Worst experience I have ever had. Ended up canceling because they delayed the vehicle 4 times... I waited a month If not more and gave them the benefit of the doubt after all the bad reviews I had read. They kept giving me a different story as to why it was delayed. First, it was cosmetic issues. Then, they said the car was repoed?!?! And needed a second inspection. SKETCHY. Third time was because of more cosmetic issues. Fourth time was also because of cosmetic issues (they said it was a windshield wiper and a visor light each time I asked what the third and fourth move out cosmetic issue was. Simple fixes) Please beware!!!

I think the car finding process is easy and their website/app makes it convenient for a consumer to find the car that best fits them. I chose to finance through Carvana and that process was easy as well. I received a low-interest loan and moved ahead with the process. All told, the loan process and confirmation of purchasing my vehicle took about 15-20 minutes. It was so quick and easy that I didn't feel that I had bought a car. Fast forward to 48 hours before my delivery and I noticed that my vehicle was not displaying within the app or within the website. I called the hotline and they began to check into the issue. I was put on hold multiple times and eventually told that they would call me back. The agent I was working with sent me a non-descript email that he was leaving for the day and that I would hear from a colleague of his. Roughly 2 hours later I received a call from an agent who explained that their tech team discovered I had been editing details in my purchase order and for whatever reason, these settings were not saved and thus my order was deleted (I was comparing the delivery fee of my home to that of the nearest Carvana location). As a result of this, another customer had begun purchasing my vehicle. I never at any time indicated I wanted to cancel my order and I was in no way notified that this had happened via email. I'm amazed that this has happened and feel its incredibly unjust. The agent offered apologies and assistance in finding a new vehicle. No more, no less. That was likely my one and only Carvana experience. I love the concept but it needs some work.

My son purchased a car and it took forever for them to get his paperwork to go thru. When it finally did, he got a call saying that he did not qualify but we found out the guy in finance only based his income on a 4 hour paystub. After speaking with someone else and getting that corrected, I told the lady that I was going to transfer the tag off his current car to the new one but wanted to make sure it could be done because the registration was in my name and the new car in his. She said it would be no problem and told me the paperwork I would need. The driver shows up with the car and I again verify with him about the registration and tag and he assures me again that it will be no problem. Took a picture of the registration card, the tag and the property tax receipt. 2 months after getting the car they tell me it cannot be done and that he would have to pay the property tax before registering the vehicle and getting him a tag. I asked them about the tag that I was transferring because I had taken insurance off of that car and now my license was at risk for being suspended and extra DMV fines because I was told by 2 people it could be done. I got an email back saying "sorry for the misunderstanding, but they would NOT be able to reimburse me for any fines occured from the DMV. Needless to say I will NEVER get another car this way and I will let EVERYONE I know that they need to go directly to the dealership from now on.

I purchased a vehicle in November. As of today all I have is empty promises, lies, excuses, 3 month old expired plates, and I'm out 1000's of dollars for money I put into a broken car. When I got home with the vehicle it needed new tires, an engine cover, an antenna, an intake hose (all of which was missing except the tires). Threats, harassment, that they were going to "Repo" the car that I haven't missed a payment on ever. I was over their mileage for return when I used their "fly and drive" program so I would have been out money either way. Shea told me they cant give me any money for what I'm out cause their 150 point is completely BS. Taylor said she gave me 310.00 for my "troubles" no one has offered or agreed to a rental vehicle, all they have offered is that I cannot legally drive my vehicle and they refuse to pay for their damaged vehicle. I will also add that the OT sensor and Transmission went out with in the month of me owning the vehicle and after 2 weeks of dealing with Silver Rock to fix the car, they refused and called an inspector to make sure it was really broken, which it was..I also was not offered a rental. Only told that If I paid for the rental they MIGHT pay me back me. So unless you want a vehicle that cant be registered, you cant drive yet must pay for, and that has 1000's of dollars worth of missing and broken parts, don't use carvana DO NOT USE CARVANA

What a unsatisfying experience. I have been needing a car to fit my needs after being almost killed by a drunk driver. I found the car I wanted online. Went through process. First wanted it deliver so set it up. Got a email day of delivery that the car was at the pick up lot and they wouldn't deliver. If they had told me the day before would have gone that day . So had to changes plans . Wait 40 +mins to get the car.by this time already running late for obligation. So was rushed There was front damage on fact report had check mark it was fixed. First lie. Wasn't fixed 2 car stated online information Back up camera included and lift gate. Car has neither of these items. I need the back up camera to help me drive since my neck was broken and I have major issue turning to look behind. I wanted this for my safety and help . Also the tire check monitoring popped on half way home Car is way more dirty inside and scratched up inside looks like previous owner had a pet in it and the one key has half the top missing remote start. Called today to speak to respective and they said not there problem. Bring car back .there are no other cars available for replacement. How is this my problem when they sold me a misleading car. And made sure I was rushed that's how I felt they wanted me out of there as fast as they could once the car was out front to drive away. There inspection report is false don't believe anything on it Also I believe they just copy and past Information on each car . I will return this car and go somewhere else if carvana won't own up to there mistakes why give them my business I don't have time to play there run around games They have the same car on the lot with all the feature the car they sold me that doesn't but its 800 more can't afford the increase but they said they refuse to swap. Buyer beware of this place . Double check your vehicle for everything. I'm so disappointed I can't have the car they promised me

Absolutely horrible. I purchased a we z4 in January. I had a different one on hold that never came available. I different one came up for sale I was leary buying a car sight unseen. The day came to pick up my car. Picked it up and drove it home and found that a few options advertised were not there. And my phone would not pair. After working with them it was best to send the car back. No questions it went back This week I tried again a Mercedes slk convertible. Car was stunning. I had compared quite a few and pick a2013 with higher miles based on the features. And price . Picked the car up Tuesday and noticed it made noise upon starting and a few options that were stated again were not included. Carvana prides themselves on the 150 point inspection and photos. Photos include under the hood. The lever to open my hood was not attached to anything. But was sold to me like that. I took photos of the comparisons I made as well as printing the original window sticker. The car showed heated and cool seats as well as park assist. They were listed and yet not in the car. Called carvana who told me I was a liar that the vin number didn’t match. They do. . So I have a broken car with the wrong options and a customer service rep who calls me a liar. Great way to do business . I just wanted the car I ordered and in working order or them to make it right. Now I will send back another car and never use them , write a review and tell all my friends and coworkers that I was told I was a liar instead of offering to help me out . At least a dealer lies to your face. Worst company ever.

Put one star because there is no option to go lower. Have purchased from them in the past and processing of paperwork was a little slow so car delivery was pushed back a couple days, which was no big deal. Tried buying another car for my daughter and has been a nightmare. Repeatedly asked to provide same paperwork then when I call they say they have it already. Told one of my sources of income cannot be used because it says that source is coming in for 20 months instead of the full car loan. This is money from the VA to pay my bills while in school since I am a disabled Vet and retraining for new job. Once finished with school I will have a job but they didn't want to listen to anything having to do with it. They kept telling me money was to pay for school, and told them a dozen times it was for bills because VA pays 100% of my tuition, books and supplies and this was money so I could go to school full-time instead of working and to fill that gap of no job. Totally discriminatory since they don't require anyone else to prove their income will be coming in for the duration of their loan - because its impossible for anyone to guarantee/prove they will have their current job that long! Will NEVER buy from this company again! Their loss is another dealers gain! If you are military or a military vet receiving any type income from VA - run away from this company as fast as you can.

I was sold a lemon. I am on my second payment and haven’t even had my car for more then a week because it’s been at the shop. They don’t pay for a rental car either you have to pay out of pocket for that. Then you get reimbursed only up to 400 dollars which would have put me out of so much money if I payed for that because I’d be on two months worth of rental payments plus paying my monthly car payments. And I’m under 25 so it’s not cheap for me. Not only that but my whole engine needed to be replaced !!! How do you miss that in your 150 point inspection. So disappointed and I feel betrayed and taken advantage of.

Process was easy and simple. However the car broke down before first payment was made. They definitely don’t sell long lasting vehicles. Now I’m stuck with a car that doesn’t run. And when they tell me I can try to fix it they said if it’s covered. So 50 50 it’s coming out of your pocket. Even under warranty. If they don’t approve it. You’re liable for it.

So here's my experience with Carvana. Despite the horrific stories I've seen about Carvana on reddit I still decided to give it a try. I bought a 2013 Scion FR-S. On the day I was supposed to get the car, the driver calls me and tells me that they are gonna drive the car to my house. Not sure why it wasn't delivered on a truck like advertised and was driven and put more miles on the car. After that since the car was already running I didn't notice anything wrong. Day2: Started up the car for the first time and my entire driveway was filled with blue smoke! I then called Carvana and was told to take it to a shop. Day3: Took it to Toyota and had them look at it. They were mind blown by what the problem was, they said that the Carvana "Specialist" Mechanic put WAY too much oil in the car and that it was burning it and that's what caused the blue exhaust smoke. Day 4-7: Car was running fine everything was great, Day8: Now that the 7 day return policy ended, of course the engine starts knocking.. From doing some research, the knocking can very well be caused by the amount of oil they put in the car. I called Carvana and explained and they told me well you're still under our 100 day Warranty and you can call them and see if the repairs will be covered. I asked what if you can't cover the cost? They said well then you will need to pay for them. WHAT?? The car may have been in perfect shape but Carvana is the ones that put the oil into it and they are the ones that most likely caused the damage but they tell me sorry can't help? Like I understand that the 7 day trial period ended but I'm not asking to extend it so I can go have fun driving around like this is a serious issue that was caused by your mechanic! Also what kind of "professionals" do they have working there if they don't even know how to change the oil on a car!! I recommend staying away from this company or if you do go with it make sure you have a good mechanic that can look at it first!!

Respectable business are not two words that come to mind. Every last bit is a con. I have had the unfortunate experience of dealing with them and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. The unfortunate reality is this company is a preditor, praying on us who are willing to put even a little trust in them. In reality, this is a company advocates for its employees to cut corners and move on. Their customer service people or "Advocate" as they like to call themselves are being groomed in a culture of dishonesty and self-preservation. There is zero incentive to actually help the customer. The fact is this company has succeeded in the big business practice of providing a sub-par service to mostly desperate people, but with the scummy touch of forcing you to make such a big decision on their time. I intend to not take it laying down and if you'd like to reach out, please do. Please.

Devante CG ,

Worst Car buying experience ever! 1st car was wrong color than what was in the description, second car was purchased almost 7 months ago and it is still not registered in my State. 1st excuse was they lost the inspection report, 2nd time they said they could not take a copy, 3rd time the inspection report was damaged in the mail, 4th time they said problem with the mileage now they said they need a new insurance card which was sent a month ago. So almost 7 months later, and still having to go to the DMV to request a temporary plate every month. This is absolutely ridiculous. They keep blaming their 3rd party vendor that handles registration. Where is the accountability?

Picked up my car this morning from 10am appointment at carvana. vending machine was out of service no wow experience there when I arrived the car wasn't even ready and they brought it around and it was filthy with armor all on the tires there was also two minor cracks on the bottom of the windshield that was not listed nor did they know anything about it what exactly is 150 point inspection the keyless remote battery is showing low battery and the wiper blades were torn I had to take the car and pay for a detail out of my pocket and buy new wiper blades as well as replace the battery in remote. I was told that someone would be contacting me about having the windshield replaced at my convenience within a few hours but still no call. I really wish my experience would have been better. Although the guy did tell me I could reject the purchase however I felt it was already delayed as the pickup was supposed to be Wednesday prior but shipping was delayed as well as I already had insurance on the vehicle that I paid for as well I really hope you all can make this right.

I will try my best to describe to you the nightmare that my Carvana experience has been. Don't be fooled by the pretty packaging. It all seemed to be great at first, but the first car that they sent to me (after being delayed in transit) had a check engine and oil light on. So I regrettably had to return the car and I selected a swap option. When they swap a vehicle they are supposed to reapply the down payment that you made to the new vehicle and the process for purchase continues with the new car. I was very excited for the new car. However, again the car was delayed because it was damaged in transit. The delivery person dropped the ball in scheduling the repair so the car was delayed again. When I eventually get the car, it works great and I really felt like it would fit well for my lifestyle. However, Carvana "forgot" to just reapply my original down payment and decided to overdraft my account by taking another down payment out! Do you believe that Carvana can take thousands of your dollars and then hold it from you? This left me unable to pay my bills, buy groceries, get gas for that shiny new car, go to work events/outings... (and the list goes on). Now, maybe I could be understanding that mistakes happen, but Carvana is not very good at owning their mistakes... When I discovered that thousands of dollars were missing out of my account, I immediately called at 8am EST to try and figure out what had happened. I spoke with a Makenna who couldn't offer me any assistance really because "no one from her department was there yet and no one from Finance seemed to be at their desks yet for the day because they weren't responding and her supervisor wasn't there yet until 10 am..." I was frustrated and asked if her supervisor could return my call when they came in. She assured me that would happen. She then follows up our conversation with this email, "Hi, Thank you for calling in today! I just wanted to follow up on our conversation... with helpful information! I do not have an exact time frame because I am still waiting on a response, but typically we can send you back the money once it has cleared into our accounts. This process typically takes 3-5 business days. I suggest trying to dispute the charge with your bank, because that process is much quicker. Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! You can do so by responding directly to this email, live chat, or by giving us a call here at 1-800-333-4554. We're available 7 days a week between the hours of 8am - 9pm EST. Warm regards, Makenna" So believe me, I spent hours upon hours of my own time away from work with my bank trying to find a solution to get funds into my account in a time frame that would improve my situation. I responded to Makenna's email below: "I really don’t have 3-5 business days. Is there any way that you can just issue a separate transaction as a credit to my card or remove the pending authorization by calling my bank? I cannot wait 3-5 business days for this to be corrected when I was already told that this wasn’t going to happen. I specifically asked about it too in my previous calls because I have very important bills due. I will still wait for the supervisor to give me a call at 10am when they get in. I also want to add that I appreciate the help of the Customer Service Representative that helped this morning. However, I am very frustrated as a customer AND I would be very frustrated as an employee of Carvana to not have the adequate resources I need to fulfill a customer's request at the start of my shift. The employee who helped me told me that their supervisor wasn't there to support them and the finance team who was supposed to be there at 8 am wasn't there to support her or myself the customer. This type of support is imperative not only for your customer's needs (first and foremost) but also your own employees need that support if they are expected to deal with customers calling in. Customers like myself who have already had a few issues with Carvana and who is now greatly inconvenienced by your establishment need to be able to reach helpful support during your normal business hours. I eagerly am awaiting your response and a solution to this problem. Respectfully, Chris" The same representative calls me back and tells me that the manager was "too busy to call me because they were on the other line..." I officially reached my first dead end with that person. I called again and asked for another person, Sherise. She even waited on the line with my bank to hear them tell me all the options that wouldn't work to rectify my situation. Sherise sent me $100 for this awful inconvenience (too bad I cant use it because my account is negative). However they still wouldn't do anything to expedite my concerns. The "Executive Team" (Fancy word for 2nd layer of Customer Service) didn't have any other options either. I am at a loss. DO NOT BUY FROM CARVANA. Its a ton of hassle.

Not only was my vehicle late but they had the nerve after having me sign all the paper work that the car didn't pass emissions despite the fact the website claims they will be upfront about everything. when trying to get a discount form representatives after the poor service they were not negotiable and rude. The reps on the phone and online gave me 2 completely different stories and when asked about the emissions but not before ignoring my question about why the representative didn't let me know the car didn't pass emissions before hand I would give them 0 stars if I could. only thing they were willing to do was reimburse me for the emissions they should have taken care of in the first place. I threw away the discount cards they give you to give out they certainly won't be getting reccomendations from me.

I have purchased many new and used vehicles in my life, and the one thing I dread is spending hours at the dealer, so I wanted to give Carvana a chance. The process of looking, buying, picking up, etc. was great. The nightmare began after I picked up my vehicle. After ten days, the engine light lit up, and then a few days after the brake light. I made all of the calls I needed to make and had to wait for the day of my appointment. The engine light issue was covered under the BMW warranty, but the brakes were not, of course. CARVANA did not want to cover the expense, and neither did SilverRock stating that those are wear and tear. (I had just purchased this vehicle days ago!) The reality is that CARVANA doesn't even bother to inspect their vehicles. So, I bought this car; I had to pay $1,580.00 for brakes and still pay the first car payment. It was the worst experience I have ever had, and I will never buy from CARVANA again, nor will I recommend it. I, instead a thousand times, spend hours at the dealer knowing that I will get a vehicle that has at least been inspected. So, customer to customer DO NOT buy a vehicle from this company!

I recently purchased a vehicle thru Carvana (my second ) and it was not nearly as pleasant as the first purchase. I took delivery in late June of this year and by Aug had spent about $800 in brake work. Brake work is typically considered wear and tear and I accept that view. However, after having to replace all pads/rotors and one collapsed caliper, I concluded the brakes were not inspected as noted in the 150 item inspection. I spoke with an advocate shortly after the repairs and requested a little relief and was asked to submit docs to support the claim. The advocate sent me a link to upload the docs but the link was not active. I called a second advocate about the same issue and was told the link was not set properly and that he would send another to upload my docs. That link was not active either. I finally was able to upload my docs and was told I would receive a response by 9/28. That response was never delivered to my in box. I let it ride for a few days giving them the benefit of the doubt. On 10/6 I called Carvana again and was informed the claim had been approved by their Repair Dept and a check had been requested. However, the request was not processed properly and was delayed. I was assured it would be resubmitted and I would receive a check in 7-10 days. After two weeks had passed with no sign of a check or any communication, I reached out to Carvana again to be informed the claim had been denied and that they were sorry. My first experience with Carvana had me thinking this is truly a disruptor to the used car model, but have since concluded it is just an on-line used car lot that we all know too well.

We purchased a 2015 Ford F250 8ft bed truck as advertised online from Carvana.com When the vehicle was delivered it was a short bed truck not an 8ft as advertised. We purchased this vehicle and paid the price for this vehicle based on the understanding that the product we were purchasing was an 8ft truck bed. There is a price discrepancy between and long bed truck and a short bed truck. $2,000-$5,000. According to our bank and a few other car dealers I contacted. When we contacted Carvana they said they were sorry for the mistaken annotation on the vehicle but they would not compensate us. I feel this is false advertising. We paid a $ amount based on the product that was advertised and now we do not have that product. We would not have paid that much for this truck if we had known it was a short bed truck. Carvana needs to step up and do the right thing. They need to reimburse us the difference between a short bed and long bed truck value. This is bad business practices.

I found the perfect vehicle for my husband and I, along with our two service animals. I was happy with my vehicle for three weeks. The engine locked up and I was strained in Houston. Turns out there was no oil in the vehicle, but Carvana advertise they do a 150-point inspection; clearly not the case. As of now my vehicle has been in the shop longer than I have driven it; from Aug 25th to Oct 23rd: that's 81/2 weeks and three engines later. I was told it is not feasible for Carvana to put me in another vehicle of the same make and model of equal value. As a result of this stressful situation, I was rushed to the ER; from there I returned to Austin from Houston to take care of my medical needs. Carvana gave me five days to get my medical needs taken care of before I would be charged for the rental car they provided through Enterprise. I explain that I have no control over how long my medical needs well take and I would still have to return to Houston to pick up my vehicle. I am a disabled veteran with PTSD and Carvana is responsible for this episode of mental health crisis I have suffered. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. They are thieves and charlatans. Also uncaring and uncompassionate to their customers; even when the situation is clearly their negligence.

Purchasing the car was easy yes this is true but less than 30 days of me having the car it needed a completely new engine I do not feel that something like this should ever happen if Carvana is thoroughly checking the vehicles as they say they are. I contacted silver rack which is my carvana care provider for the maintenance and because I was out of a vehicle they were willing to refund me $40 a day on my rental car. Since I was short on cash because of the required down payment and my car note being due soon I contacted Carvana to see if I could have an extension on my payment so that I would be able to get a rental car during the 10 day process of repairs. A Carvana representative told me that this was not possible and that I would need to just make my car payment and wait for my car which I later found out that the decision was not for Carvana to make but instead the representative should have directed me to speak with Bridgecrest the loan holders about this option. Because I was not given this information I feel like I wasn’t given a chance to look into all my options and because of this me and my children were forced to ride the bus until my vehicle was finished. I don’t think it’s valid for me to put my kids on the bus when I had just purchased a vehicle to keep us off the bus! Carvana was not helpful in my time of need and did nothing but give me the runaround I would not purchase another vehicle through them nor would I recommend anybody does.

I began going through the process of purchasing a vehicle off of Carvana a few days ago. At first, it seemed really neat. You get to browse through thousands of vehicles, view detailed information about each one, and then have the one you want delivered straight to your door. However, as I got deeper into the process, I began to think that it would be much better to go with a traditional dealer ship instead. There were multiple times that a representative called from Carvana and left me a vague message with instructions to return the call. When I did, the person I was speaking with had no idea what I was calling about, and expected me to tell them what I needed. Near the end of the finalization process, I was told that I would have until midnight today to get everything uploaded and signed off. Then, at 9am this morning, I received a call telling me that everything had to uploaded and verified before 10am. Not only is that only an hour notice and contradictory to what I had been told, it is Monday. Like most people, I was at work. Which meant I had no way to get the documents uploaded in time. I spoke to someone from Carvana, who was very condescending to me over the phone and kept rushing me, even though I had questions. She told me that she would extend the deadline by 24 hours (tomorrow at 10am). When I got home this evening and logged into my account, it said that the car had been sold to someone else! So much for following through on what I was told. I will never, never use Carvana again and am going to make sure to warn everyone I know away from it!!!

Everything was fine until my car was delivered and the Carvana rep didn't want to wait for me to take off my custom plate. He said he would "overnight" my plate. This did not happen. I called and wrote repeatedly and today I got an email that my custom plate has been canceled and do I want another plate. No, I want my custom plate back, as I said from the beginning. I can't get a response other than a robo response, I can't get a callback, and now I really steamed. Do I really have to buy my own plate again from the Dept of Motor Vehicles??

Like a lot of other people, I'm finding their registration team is a pack of idiots. I called them leading up to the end of the temp tag expiry and got all kinds of BS about how long it takes and I caused delays when the reality is they had the insurance (you can't pick up the car from them without it) and other paperwork already but obviously lost it. The day after the end of my temp tag expiry I get an email from them explaining that their third party has a question for me. Well, it's kind of too late guys. They don't want to take any responsibility for any of it. Contacting them is impossible, they don't ever call you, only email or online chat, and it's proving to be just as bad as any other car dealer. Just do your own registration and don't use them, they are absolutely useless.
