Don’t move out of state and then pay your car off after you move. You will have an extremely hard time trying to get the title to the car. The lender stated that once they release the title that the bmv will mail the title out and the process takes about 4 weeks. It took 4 weeks for the lender to release the title to the bmv. I waited 4 more weeks for the bmv to mail the title to me. Guess what?!!! That didn’t happen, I have to send a notarized form and payment to the bmv for them to send me a copy of the title. My registration has expired and now I have to wait a few weeks to get the title to be able to register it in the new state I reside in. Absolutely disappointed in this process. I will never buy from carvana again!!!!

I would love to give this company 5 stars. The beginning started out great. I was approved and purchased my vehicle. Now I lived outside the delivery area so they had to set up an additional fee for delivery. I was fine with this. The problem came when my funds finally cleared my account, I waited a week and still no shipment of my vehicle. Its now going on 2 weeks, no update, no information, every time I call, I am told they will send me an email or text update in 24 hours. 7 days have gone by no update and guess what? NO CAR. I am still waiting for a vehicle that I purchased and put a few thousand dollars down on already. I will buy traditionally moving forward. I hope that one day I will receive my vehicle.

I had 2 different vehicles within an eight month period. One for a week and the other for 8 months. The first vehicle was a Chrysler 200, 2015. It came with a warranty however, it kept cutting off on me in the middle of traffic , so I had no choice but to return it and select a different vehicle. My second vehicle was a 2014 Ford Fusion that didn't come with a warranty due to having 81,000 miles. There policy for a warranty is 80,000 or less. So I missed it by 1000 miles. On April 6th, I was driving from Indpls, IN back to Georgia when my car begin to do weird things, as if I was pushing on the gas. It was going up and down. I was going 70 mph in the center lane of the highway. I had to immediately try to exit the highway. Once on the exit ramp, the vehicle cut off. I waited a few seconds and restarted it. I was able to make it to the gas station like a couple of minutes down the road. Once on the gas station lot, it cut off again. I restarted the vehicle and it would go into drive reverse only. I turned it off and on until it would drive over to the side of the gas station. At this point, I didn't know what to do. I knew nobody in Nashville, TN and didn't know what I should do next. I sat there, praying trying to remain calm because my son was with me and I didn't want him to know that I didn't know what we were going to do next. I called my roadside assistance and had them tow the car to the Nashville caravan location. Once there I asked for a manager . Once a manager was present, I couldn't help but to be very emotional as I didn't know what to do. They called logistics and I spoke with a gentleman who basically told me that he couldn't help me due to me not having a warranty. I advised that I only had the vehicle for eight months and wasn't able to get a warranty due to the mileage. He apologized and said there isn't nothing that can be done. I sat in the Nashville location for a total of 2 hours crying. The Nashville team was so helpful in getting my son and I back to GA. They paid for us to catch the Mega bus and also provided us with an Uber and a $25 gift card. I will never forget the amount of help that they provided and I will forever be grateful to Ebony and the whole Nashville Team. My son and I started out at 6 a.m. and didn't reach home until 1 a.m. the next day. On Monday April 8th, I called Carvana and asked to speak with a member of management. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Kyle. He basically said what logistics said on Saturday. He couldn't help me due to me not having a warranty. I explained that I only had the car for 8 months. He still couldn't help me and when I asked for him to expedite my call to someone else, he refused. He also said, I can see if there was anything offered in my insurance plan to cover such an incident. I hung up from him and sent emails to the CEO and COO. On Tuesday I received a call from a Carvana rep. by the name of Erica. She said, they would have my vehicle towed to a mechanic of my choice to get the vehicle properly diagnosed. I suggested the ford service center. She then said, they will also cover the cost of the diagnosis and if it isn't no fault of Carvana, then they have no responsibility in fixing the vehicle. Although, I didn't agree with that, I felt it was a step in the right direction. I had to fed ex my keys back to them so the vehicle didn't reach Ford until Thursday. The service gentleman at Ford, called an asked if I owned a Ford Fusion, I said yes, he then asked me why the vehicle was there. I said, Carvana towed it for a diagnosis. He said nobody said anything. They towed it and just left the keys. He said, he just looked in the glove box and found my information. Once the diagnosis was complete, I received a call from Erica. She said, that it was no fault of there's and basically I was on my own. While on the phone with her and technician with Ford called and said it will be $6000 to repair the damages. Well I am a single parent with MS and I don't have that kind of money. Again, I have had the vehicle for a total of 8 months. Made all payments on time. All scheduled maintenance done. I reached back out to the CEO and COO giving them the verdict and requesting a resolution. Such as another vehicle under a warranty perhaps or removing me from this vehicle. I haven't heard anything. It has now been 3 weeks. I am without a vehicle and I am missing important doctor visit. I am very disappointed with my Carvana experience.

BUYERS BEWARE!!! Carvana receives two thumbs down from me. I applied to Carvan two weeks ago with an approval that was good until 2/25/19 ...went to complete the application process after providing everthing they requested only to receive an email advising to call them to provide additional information only to be told that unfortunately Carvana will not be moving forward with the process amd if I want an explanation it has to be requested, get this: IN WRITING!!!!... Who does this? They can't be SERIOUS! to think that I'm going to actually sit diwn and request my demand for an answer in writing. Buyers Beware. Carvana make it seem real easy and simple to purchase a vehicle from them, once they gain all of your personal information and approve you only to turn around and deny you without explanation. Very unprofessional. Don't get your hopes up!

I purchased a 2017 Toyota 4runner. I received a call 30 minutes before delivery to inform me that they just noticed (while detailing the vehicle) that the back bumper/rear door was damaged in transport. When I asked who handles their quality control, they couldn't give me an answer. The customer service rep told me that they would take it to the Toyota dealership that was right next door to their facility, and that customer service rep would contact me the following Monday to let me know the status of the vehicle...No one ever called me. I called Caravan 4 times the following week to try to find out what the extent of the damages were to the car. I also wanted to see pictures of the damages. We made a new delivery date for the following Friday. On the morning of the 2nd delivery, I received another call from Carvana 30 minutes before the delivery time to let me know that the car was going to be late due to a clip on the front bumper that was not attached. The customer service rep said he would have to go to the Toyota dealership to have the clip attached correctly... I called Carvana and spoke to another customer service rep about this, and also to inquire about the damage that was done during transport. He told me he would inquire about it and get back to me...The car was delivered on January 18th. I had the car inspected by a mechanic on january the 22nd. The first words the mechanic said to me were "Did you know this car has been in a wreck?" I told the mechanic that Carvana said it had been damaged in transport, The mechanic told me that it was more than damaged. It had been in a wreck. He could see the damage under the rear bumper. He said the back door and bumper had ether been replaced or repaired, and the rear tail lights were replaced with used tail lights that didn't match the head lights. When my husband and I called Caravna to let them know what the mechanic said, the supervisor gave us the run around... We never received pictures of the damages, we never received papers on the extent of the damages, so needles to say we are returning the car tomorrow, and we will be waiting for our full refund. Carvana sucks. They are no better than used car salesman selling cars to unsuspecting customers. If I could give zero stars, I would... Buyer Beware. If you buy a car from this company, make sure you take it to a reputable mechanic for a thorough inspection.

Customer service was great. Delivery took longer than first expected. Only real problem I had was that the car had a very rough feeling to the paint. It seems that pollen had been dried onto the paint. After attempting many different products I ended up having to clay bar the entire car to get the paint smooth again. This process is not difficult but did take me around 3 hours of work to complete. This is something that if it was a dealer I could have just taken it back to let them do it . Never should have been shipped in the condition it was in.

I'm a repeat Carvana customer. Most recently, I tried to buy a particular Land Rover that I've been hunting for quite some time. Finally, I found the right one, initiated the purchase, and entered information for my trade. My trade is a 2017 BMW M2. That particular car had only 2 options available and my car only has 5,500 miles, so it should have been a relatively easy appraisal. For some reason it wasn't. Carvana told me to sit tight because their algorithm was stumped. I did because I thought the Land Rover I wanted to buy was reserved. Apparently, it wasn't. By the time Carvana made an offer on my car (an offer I would haven taken) and I tried to close the deal, the Land Rover had already been sold to someone else. Bottom line: algorithms are great, but without people, customers lose. Had I been able to talk to a real person, I would have known what to do, how to reserve the car, and I'm be a repeat Carvana customer. Instead, I'm shopping elsewhere and avoiding the frustration of dealing with algorithms. I'd avoid shopping on this platform for anything that's rare, unusual, or interesting. If you're trying to buy a toaster on wheels, Carvana is for you because their lack of customer service can be overcome by providing a similar vehicle. If there aren't similar vehicles, then you're out of luck, as am I. Also, for what it's worth, it took me 15 minutes of searching to figure out how to leave a review. That's telling.

The worst experience I’ve ever had buying a car. They would not work out a delivery time with me so I had to pick it up. The representative was very rude and unprofessional. The car had several scratches and missing paint. Trash was in the back seat pockets and human hair was also on the back seat. The representative did not want to answer any of my questions about why the car was in this condition. The representative closed their garage on me as I was taking pictures and said are you buying the car or not? Got loud with me and made up lies when I asked for a manager. I received no additional help and the car was not purchased. Cooperate office was the same as they did not return any of my phone calls. It is a privilege to receive my business and money. A very disheartening experience. I would not recommend Carvana to anyone.

This process is supposed to save time and hassle, but it doesn't. In the future I would rather spend one day off at a dealership vs gathering documents multiple times and cramming in emails and numerous phone calls for two weeks. Pros: The two transport drivers that I worked with were great. The first one Josh called to tell me that my vehicle was damaged, had mismatched paint colors and was likely in an unreported accident. He was very honest and I appreciated his integrity. He even gave me his cell number and told me to call him when I found another car I liked so he could check it out on his end and see if it had been returned for any reason. The 2nd transport driver was John. He called ahead, was timely, and explained the process well. Cons: 1.) I have had to put in a lot of time and effort. The process has not been seemless. Since the 1st vehicle was undeliverable I had to start the whole buying process again. Not the fun stuff like shopping for the car, but re-uploading all the documents(trade in, odometer, registration, 10 day pay-off, drivers license front and back, marriage license, and my wife's previous divorce decree). I also had to have my trade in re-assessed. 2.) The car was not as advertised. I'm on day 6 of my test drive, sounds like a simple fix right? Wrong! After you purchase a vehicle, you no longer talk to the sweet customer service agents that are trying to sell you a car. Your phone number routes you to the after sales team where you go through prompts and then get silver rock (Carvanas 3rd party warranty company). Here are the problems with the car: - At 60mph eveything in the car shakes violently. (This helped me notice the next issue) - Plastic surrounding the drivers seat is broken. The clips are sheared off. -The key fob doesn't work completely. Only lock and unlock buttons operate. -Rubber weatherproofing door trim on interior front passanger door is dry rotted and torn. -My children could have detailed the car better. There was so much overspray of oil in the interior. The sides of the leather seats are spotted like a Dalmatian. Also when I put the third row down there were piles of dirt, which showed that the detailers barely vacuumed the car out. What else am I going to find? I thought that having a 7 day test drive would mean that Carvana stands behind their cars, but they don't. It will become your problem to call a shop, and schedule a diagnosis. If silver rock doesn't pay up front you will have to (unless you can afford to have the vehicle sit as hostage at the shop until Silver rock determines whats covered). Unfortunately for me I dont have that luxury as this is my family's only vehicle. Also note that rental car fees are reimbursed IF they are deemed necessary. Want to know what is covered under the warranty? Me too, but when I asked about specifics I was redirected to search on yourvehiclecare.com. Um Hello.....if I found what I was looking for online, I wouldn't have wasted more of my time calling in for help. Overall, easy delivery and friendly customer service until you accept the vehicle, then you are the redheaded step child that is responsible for all of the leg work to fix any issues (if they are covered). Point is, don't waste your time with carvana just go into a dealership. Trust me it is less time consuming. If you do purchase with Carvana, then cross your fingers that everythings perfect because if not they wont help you.

Bait and switch alert! they did't not honered the APR terms that I got in the pre-qualification process, I reserved a car 12 day later they just change my terms raising the interest rate by %2.2. they refused to honored the initial financing terms... They did not listen to reason, I talked to two "Customer Care Advocate" ( that just focus on what is best for the carvana) that did nothing to help nor to keep a costumer, they rather let you go to shop a car in carmax that keep a happy customer. after this experience car dealer shark tank feels better... A friend of ours referred us to Carvana. That is when the nightmare started. We entered all of the needed information in the system and revived a confirmation with the 1st offer, pending income verification. We sent in the requested pay stub (the company we work for is a non profit and doesn't provide direct deposit). Apparently the incompetent underwriting staff at Carvana "assumed" the income verification provided was not adequate, and asked for the "cancelled" checks to "match" the check stubs provided implying that the check stub provided were fraudulent.. We sent those in as well. The the underwriting staff calls and changes the terms of the agreement giving us our 2nd offer, "because we are contract employees who revives a 1099 and not W-2's. " We verified hat we are regular employees and receive w-2's at the end of the year and we asked where the received this information, and we were told that due to the check stubs not having a YTD amount it was "assumed" that we worked contract status. The underwriting staff then went back and recalculated and gave us yet the 3rd amount for the car we selected. At this point we declined to due business with Carvana. My suggestion Carvana is to hire competent staff that do not make assumptions on customers honesty based on the spelling of their name. It makes no sense that we should receive 3 different amounts with the same data. I am wondering if our name was not "ethnic" and was as nondescript as "John Smith" if we would have revived the same poor customer service?

I knew the car I was buying ( in Florida)was a New Jersey one owner leased vehicle, and the vehicle history report showed no accidents. But my mechanic was concerned by the amount of rust under the hood, and then he noticed that the car had been painted. There was a visible red streak on one of the headlights. Hmm. Why would someone paint a 4 year old car with no accidents? Dunno, but the car went back...when spending nearly $20K for a car, I need more of a comfort level than I had. Must say, they did not even ask me why I was returning the car, and they paid me the full amount of my trade even though I was no longer buying one of their cars!

I am sad today I cannot pick up my car. However, the customer service I received from carvana was good in the beginning and then it turned horrific. I started the process to purchase a vehicle on or before July 17,2017. I was told I would be getting a call from the underwriters within 24 to 48 hrs. It never happened. I called back several times only confirming the vehicle was on hold and would be available for pickup on Monday July 24,2017. I also wanted to be picked from the airport (it was offered to me along with a $200 gift card). I discovered on Sunday July 23,2017 by Grace and Logan the car was taken off hold put back on the market for sale on Sunday morning and sold within hours of being off hold. Grace was rude and argumentative she told me that the car I wanted was sold after hours of being released. Grace also told me they could not open the pdf I had sent on my license and for me to resend it. I ask her why would I do that when you do not have the car I wanted. She then hung up on me (I am like wow really). I called back to talk with Logan. He instantly began taunting mocking me, (I have a deep southern accent), kept saying something is wrong with your phone, did you say email or nail or saying 5 or 2. After we had gotten pass that Logan started demanding I take him off speaker phone. I told him I was in an empty room. At that point, I had become even more frustrated to the point I ask to speak to a supervisor and he put me on hold for 15mins. Needless to say, I was never put in contact with a supervisor. I thought Ernie said it would haggle free and less stress then dealing with a regular dealership. I did not experience the ease Mr. Ernie G spoke about. I trusted Mr. G and he let me down.

This company is a joke. Had my truck appraised through their online portal. They sent me a confirmation email telling me someone would reach out within 2 days. I waited 5 days and never heard anything. I followed up with them using the contact information given in the confirmation email. They apologized and gave me the excuse that they were backed up in sales 72 hours. I old them it had been 5 days and they had no excuse. They simply reiterated that someone would reach out to me within the next 24 hours. That was 3 weeks ago and to this day, I have never heard from them. 🤣

I wish I could give a negative start because I would. Carvana told me they were having tech issues and had to wait for my approval which pushed back my delivery date. They called me and accepted everything for my trade in and even congratulated me on my purchase. Then on the day the car was supposed to be here I gave them a call and they told me someone else purchased. Even though I have everything to prove that I was not only accepted but got a scheduled delivery date. All they could tell me was I'm sorry I don't know how we dropped the ball on this.

Took 9 months to receive title & registration. No one was actively working on our case until we started calling everyday. Most customer service reps are incompetent and not at all helpful. After getting our title & reg., we wanted to trade in our car with them but were given an extremely hard time when trying to verify documents. Absolutely horrible. Salespeople are polite and helpful, but what they promise rarely ever happens. My car delivery has been “delayed” four times. It shouldn’t take a month to get a car I have already signed contracts for. This car buying service is for people who “want” a car. If you need one, i suggest looking elsewhere. Purchasing a car through Carvana was a huge mistake and I would not recommend it to anyone, they delivered my car without notifying me so I have no idea where my car is at this point and they said they delivered it two weeks ago. I have never seen the car still have not heard from their third party carrier. Everyone in their office told me different things and I had Victoria straight up end our chat after me asking where my car was. I am currently on hold with them still trying to figure out where the car is so that I can return it within their 7 day money back policy.

Their 150 point inspection is a joke! I got a truck delivered to my house that looked nice in the outside, but then I popped the hood and looked underneath the bottom of the truck, and there was obvious rust damage EVERYWHERE! It needed a new exhaust, emergency brake, there was an obvious leak in the rear differential, and more. When I called to tell them about it, there was ZERO effort on their part to answer how it passed this 150 point inspection by their mechanics, and there was no indication of all of that damage in the description. Looks like a good deal, but they sell junk!

Too many phone calls, texts. Too many "advocates". Too much verification because each item requires a separate verifier. Too much confusion, as advocate 1 does not have a clue as to what advocate 2 said 10 minutes prior. Total actual time on text, phone, e-mail to complete transaction was in excess of 3 hours. I don't think any one person has a grasp on what the whole process entails.

I recently went to look at getting a car from Carvana and after doing the appraisal process they offered me $120 for a 2014 Ford Focus in good condition. What a slap in the face. They promised me I won't have to pay a delivery fee because I was going to drive up to the vending machine- BUT THEY STILL CHARGED ME. They told me they would reach out to Bank of America to handle my financing for me and then they were like whoops we dropped the ball- THEY CANCELED my order instead of getting the docs they needed from my BOA rep. They promised me a certain delivery date and then changed it to a week later without even telling me.

Traded a car at Carvana. The process up until delivery was a disaster (putting aside car was delivered late & filthy). After delivery, it’s taking over 2 months to sort out registration and a simple plate transfer. After hours on the phone and “advocates” that don’t know how to resolve the issue you will be left without problem resolution. I personally had to call the tax office in Texas for requirements and had to tell the Carvana registration “team” what they needed to do. It’s a disgrace of an operation. Go to a dealer, pick a car, do paperwork and leave happy. AVOID CARVANA.

Carvana is trash! Uploaded all needed paperwork they said they couldn't see them like 13 times. Then when they said everything was okay they gave me the 🏃‍♂️ runaround on the bank account. Didn't even give a chance to make deposit. Both times even after I went to Office Max paid 12$ printing out stubs they told me my deadline had passed. Repeated process again for them to do the same thing with the deadline! They claim easy experience well KD claims trash 🗑 experience worst time ever buying another 🚗 after a vehicle theft!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went through the whole process to purchase a car fromCarvana . A one owner 2017 Toyota Rav4. No accidents reported. After getting insurance and financing, I showed up to get the car. I signed the paper work, and handed over the title to my trade-in. I walked outside to see the car and the whole front end had been repainted....even the side view mirrors. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

I like that Carvana is online to eliminate any wasted time at a dealership. However I made a delivery appointment for 2 weeks after buying the vehicle. I had the choice of the same week but I decided to go with two weeks after. It’s now the third week they rescheduled it on their own and now waiting to see if it comes this week. So I am without a vehicle for 4 days because of their scheduling. Not happy and they don’t offer any rental. Or reimbursement for a rental due to the fact I lost 4 days of work because I HAVE NO VEHICLE! not a great experience.

If I could give a ZERO STAR I would. Worst experience ever, was ready to make a purchase, made a selection, secured financing, and was told that because I live outside of their hub I had to pick up the vehicle I wanted and drop off the trade in. The nearest location was over 200 miles away. Why would I waste my time, money, and energy driving 200 miles away when I have plenty of local dealers near me. The point of this company is to provide a zero hassle experience. Driving 200 miles is NOT hassle free. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Beware on purchasing a vehicle from Carvana. I purchased a vehicle from Carvana, signed the contracts, obtained financing, and was scheduled to have the vehicle delivered. Two hours prior to the vehicle time for delivery, I am informed by Carvana they accidentally sold the vehicle to another customer and that customer is in possession of the vehicle. This was the worst experience and their response was just sorry.

Put me through the whole drill, they said they worked with people in Chapter 13 bankruptcy but had to provide letter. Letter was provided but was not good enough. Wanted Notarized letter from Trustee which State of NJ does not and will not due. Had an attorney involved. Would not accept anything else. Do not bother if you live in NJ and are in Chapter 13. Waste of time! Even if website states otherwise.

Carvana delivered a Toyota Rav 4 with a stained interior and tires that would not pass inspection in the state of PA. Also more wear and tear on outside of car not listed or in photos. Kept car for 24 hours before calling and setting up return. Carvana rep asked why but made no attempt to correct the issues. Out $500 delivery fee. Terrible experience.

Had a EDA -carvana claims there is a traffic problem out of NJ. Cancelled. Next, vehicle-Carvanna -we could not find the vehicle so it didn't make it on the carrier. Signed paperwork 3-4 times-paperwork not complete, oh this has never happened. Try signing it again. I'm done with Carvana. Found another car. Interest rate with carvana was double. Carvana is not what it claims to be.

I bought a 2013 Volkswagen CC R-LINE from carvana and granted I did not get the extended warranty on the car which I still regret. Once the standard warranty was up my engine blew out and they refused to do anything and told me if I cant continue to make payments I must surrender the vehicle. I spent $15,000 on this car and now need to spend an additional $8,500 because they refuse to do anything.

Be very careful with this company. I had a car all purchased and completed everything on my end. 45 mins before I was to go get it. I was called and told they would need to reschedule pick up. 5 more days to wait. They could not fine the car I bought. I backed out and got even a better deal at a brick and mortar car dealership. Better car for less money and better interest rate!! You have been warned!!! 😡😡😡

I was left with an expired paper tag for over 6 weeks, had to ship car because I had no tag. Now they screw up title so I can’t sell vehicle They ask for title they sent me with out lien on it, I send it back to them via FedX label they provided , now they are again asking for title. Can’t sell vehicle because title is not back. They finance alright what they don’t tell you they charge $5 a day on top of loan. These people are messed up, someone smoked in car this was not listed. I would give them a zero I am calling local TV station to get this mess cleared up

They advertised a beautiful car as undergoing a 150 point check and road test. I signed the paper work to buy the car, took a special trip to the bank to get bank statements. And was approved to buy the car. They gave me a delivery date, I bought insurance on the car, and a warranty. Then they didnt deliver it! Said it had a mechanical problem, would not share with me what that was and then reneged on the deal!! They offered my $250, off another purchase for my trouble! I think they suck!~

Carvana customer service is bad. I talked to a total of 6 sales representatives to be told I need a different document after each time I submit what the previous customer service representative told me I needed to send. Then they gave me a 24-48 hour deadline to complete my application but here it is 72 hours later and I’m being told I still need more documents. And besides that Carvana didn’t contact me through via email or through via phone to update me on my application. Each time I spoke to a customer service representative I had to call to ask what was going on with my application.
