Simple Loan Application Process

As an online lender, Credit9 has a quick and simple application process. The company’s application and approval process involves three steps, including the following:

  1. Checking your rates — You provide your basic personal information and employment documents, and Credit9 will provide the best interest rate available for you. Your credit score will not be impacted by checking your rates.
  2. Accepting your terms — Upon approval, if you are satisfied with your loan interest rate and loan repayment terms, you can securely e-sign your contract.
  3. Getting your money — Once approved, your loan could be funded in as few as 1–2 business days. Your creditors will be paid directly.

All Credit9 loans are made available by Cross River Bank. Loan amounts range from $2,500 to $45,000 with loan terms ranging from two to five years. Credit9 is committed to helping borrowers pay off their debt quickly and will work with you to secure the best options for your situation.

E-Sign Capabilities

As an online lender, Credit9 makes it easier to apply for a loan and get your money faster. The option to e-sign your contracts is noteworthy because not all lenders offer this capability and it can save you time.

Apply With a Co-Applicant

If you would like to secure a lower interest rate, Credit9 accepts applications with a creditworthy co-applicant. Other options for receiving rate discounts also include showing proof of retirement savings or setting up direct pay to your creditors.

No Hidden Fees

Credit9 doesn’t charge an application fee nor a prepayment penalty fee. You will however be responsible to pay a loan origination fee (a standard practice in the lending industry). The origination fee is charged in order to process a loan application and typically ranges from 1 to 8 percent of your total loan amount.

Financial Consultations Available

In addition to its lending services, Credit9 provides financial consultation services. Lower Maximum Loan Amount

Credit9 offers loans up to a maximum amount of $45,000. Compared to some other lenders, this is a considerably low maximum amount — some lenders will provide loans up to $100,000. Thus, if you need a larger loan, you will need to research other lender options.

Lenders will typically require a borrower to have a high credit score and a stable financial situation to provide a loan as high as $100,000; it isn’t necessarily an option that will be available to all borrowers, especially at a low rate.

I initially applied for the Credit 9 loan but did not qualify and was referred to their debt consolidation partner, Americor. I signed up with Americor and they started the process of negotiating with my creditors. Since I signed up, they have completely paid down three accounts and successfully negotiated and have started paying down other creditors. Once someone has been with Americor for 6 months to a year, they do eventually become eligible for the Credit 9 loan which pays off the entire debt and the payments that the customer was making to Americor simply shift to Credit 9. I was in the program for a little more than a year when I got an email invitation to reapply for the Credit 9 loan and I was approved today. So, the next step is that Americor will quickly complete negotiations with my remaining creditors and, if the payments are something I can handle, I will switch over to a credit 9 and all of my debts with the other creditors will be paid. Then my only financial obligation to a creditor will be to Credit 9. So far I am very satisfied with the process.

Got a Credit9 Loan via Americor's process. I was told the loan wouldn't raise my payment amounts from what it was with Americor, and that this would allow me additional financial freedom such as other loans. Well the Credit9 loan raised my payments by $100/month, and they didn't even pay the full amount to consolidate my loans! 8 months after I get this loan, I find out that my credit card debt (that was supposed to be settled by Credit9) wasn't fully paid off and so the credit bureaus basically had me reported with DOUBLE my debt because of this!! During one of my several phone calls back and forth, the Credit9 representative was blatantly lying to me and telling me that they had made the full payment to my Chase debt, even though I had just confirmed the opposite. Additionally, the Credit9 loan that I was essentially forced into (if I wanted to continue with my life) was over 25% interest!!

I did not understand that the loan was over 27% on interest. I had paid over 8000 dollars for the first year, and the total went down by minimal. I hope that everyone understands what you all are signing. They are taking advantage of people who get in debt. I was paying 800$ a month, 400 every two weeks. It was going to be for over 7 years.

I received a loan from CREDIT9 a year ago to settle the US BANK debt, for which I have been sued. Three months later, I was in shock when a hearing still took place as US BANK informed me. However, Americor, who was negotiating the settlement with the CREDIT9 loan ensured me that the debt was settled and asked me to contact CREDIT9 from that moment. Eight months later a letter from US BANK came regarding the transfer of the debt to a debt collector! I was in a second shock. I attached the letter to an email and sent to CREDIT9 representative. I didn't get any answer. I sent a second email to customer service and still got no answer. So, I called customer service and sent an email to that representative. She said I would be informed about any updates. Three weeks passed but I haven't received any updates, so I sent an email asking about what's new. No response, again. Since I haven't receive any official correspondence from US BANK about the settlement, nor a tax form 1099-C I can't consider the debt settled. Therefore, for a whole year I am living in stress and nobody from CREDIT9 cares.

Putting aside this, everyone was very helpful, especially Karla C., and very personable and easy to converse with. The representative of the company apparently thought that all I had to do was wait for emails or phone calls. I actually am just as busy if not busier than he is. By the time I had a chance to review the documents that I will send, I had some significant questions about them. So I sent him a message asking him to call me about those questions. It took him three additional days to call me back and by that time I got sent another email that said they were canceling the documents for lack of a signature. To say this system is frustrating is an understatement of monumental proportions. So far I'm not very happy about this.

Not really happy about this whole deal. I was not late on any bills and was having no problem paying them. I kind of got fast talked into it and all I ended up with was an expensive loan and bad credit. My fault for being stupid. I was in over my head with credit card debt with 2 kids going to college, needing a new car when my engine blew up , being a single mom (without any financial support to help by my ex husband the father of our children), and working/ paying endless bills. I could not file bankruptcy and I found AmeriCor and Credit 9. I gave it a shot. AmeriCor was extremely helpful and very transparent with everything. I was able to coordinate my payments when I got paid from work on Auto. Super easy. Once I paid into 6 months, I was offered to move to Credit 9 loan and was approved. They talked me though the process and again the loan payments will be auto drafted on my payday making the whole process simple. I cannot express enough how imformed I was through out this proces. Yes, it was hard to stop paying on credit cards and watch your credit score plummet, but it will work its way up again. Stay with it. It'll help out in your life especially now with everything so super expensive.

They are pretty good…I do t like how I was told around 410 for 3 yrs and then u give me a 5 year loan and say 630 which is what I was already trying to pay now o gotta get a second job. I also hate how they would always call me instead of email. If I work a 9-5:15 that’s not my fault and I can’t answer the phone and u are not open weekends. Other than that they were nice. They also only gave me 1 day to read the document and didn’t call me back when I had some extra questions
