The "Pricebreakers" deals are so deceptive. They quote a rock bottom price and then hit you with the "Additional Mandatory Fee." I was trying to book 2 nights in San Francisco. I was quoted $165/night. At the payment screen there is an additional $78 in "taxes and fees" mind you that the hotel tax in SF is only 15%. Then inconspicuously at the bottom, the Additional Mandatory Fee was $544!! That brought the total to $962 when the quote was for $164/night. I'm trying to book a hotel in downtown SF not an all inclusive resort. Complete scam.

The itinerary I find on Priceline website was $358.98 after waiting for three hours someone called me back and asked me to paid $256.09 more for fees. I am so upset and disappointed. I believe this is a scam. My fly reference is 5719700653. And the guy called me back 08/25/2021 at 11:52 pm for 28 minutes. It’s so sad 😞 and it’s not fair.

I will never use Priceline again. I booked a car from ACE through Priceline, I was charged immediately from Priceline once booked then again from ACE when picked the car. For a month now been calling Priceline to solve this issue and ACE as well, still no resolution. Priceline agents are very unknowledgeable and rude. Again save yourself the headache and the money, Don't use Priceline ever.

Priceline does not stand behind it's bookings. They have No customer service. Nothing but runarounds. DON'T USE THEM. I am sorry I have money tied up with them. If you go on their chat their customer agents just tell you to contact the airline, or hotel where your reservation is supposed to be. They stole my money, and gave me nothing for it. Worse travel experience of my life.

Worst ever..... Totally all about them and how they can chisel you out of your money!! Have a reservation a month ahead and wanted to get the better rate they posted currently. The rate was over $ 240 cheaper than when I booked for the same car.. I didn't try to cancel but just wanted the better rate. Screw you is their policy! Never ever will I go though this company again.. Do not use this money grubbing company.. They need to experience this for themselves to appreciate just how P.O.ed I am. Priceline is one of the worst travel sites in the industry. If you do plan to use them, which I will never do again, Do NOT pay for your trip in advance, always do the pay later option. They are 100% inflexible and will not refund, change or modify so you better hope nothing changes with your plans. Their customer service reps do nothing but cite policy and refuse your request. Every travel site in the industry has cancellation options and provides a relatively painless "out" if you need it. Not Priceline, they will keep your money. Wretched company.

Total scam, they sell u airfare at a reasonable price I was quoted $782.58, even got an email confirmation with that total, they charged my credit card $1051.46. Was on the phone for 45 minutes and when I asked to talk to a supervisor the hold was 9 hours and 40 minutes. Save yourself time and money and book your travel with someone else or be prepared to pay more than you’re expecting.

Do not book through pricline.com . I had payed for a hotel on there site at 62.50 per night, with there taxes and fees it came out to 744.00 for 9 nights. Upon check out I got my printed receipt and it showed daily rate 58.90 per night totaling 530.00 I contacted pricline and the rep stated that its hotel taxes. I told him about the receipt and then he went to state that its pricline profits. So how is it they try to get you best rates but charge more than the hotel. Anyhow they are not refunded the difference.

During payment processing they tried to change my flight from preferred times to extremely early or late. Spirit was 90% empty and actually showing the discount available. Priceline should have protected our booking. I'm planning international trips this year and next. Was hoping to use them but will not use them in the future. Their customer support took 20 minutes with no results. Goodbye Spirit Airlines and Priceline.

We booked a hotel room but when we arrived all the rooms were taken. There were at least a dozen other people in the same situation. Every hotel, apart from the 5 star most expensive hotel in Salt Lake City was sold out. That was bad enough at 11 at night but the wait time to talk to somebody was over an hour so they disconnected me and said they would call back. They called back an hour later and then hung up on me. I never got a call back. I never got an apology despite several emails. And worst of all they never refunded my money so I had to file a complaint with my credit card company.

Priceline Pricebreaker tool is a scam and Priceline is no longer a viable option: Priceline is now using a non-cancelable tool called 'Pricebreaker' and packaging one low star hotel between more valuable properties. If you buy, you are booked at the 1 or 2-star, not the 3.5 star plus. I didn't even notice they were packaging properties of such different caliber together until I was booked - and of course, no way to get out of it! Priceline is now part of a huge corp. and has totally changed into a BUYER BEWARE company - no longer a viable option

Flight was cancelled due to COVID. Was issued credit for over $2000 but can't use online, have to call in. On the phone they're saying I can't use that for the normal rate and even though I can find the exact same flights they insist I have to pay 50-75% more because I'm using my credit. As stated here customer service is horrible. Always get someone in India who can't seem to do anything and just transfers me back into the same 1hr + wait time queue when I ask to speak to someone who can. Once they get your money there is nothing you can do to get it back.

Booked a trip to New Orleans and rented a car through Priceline. Great deal! What Priceline didn't tell us was that the agency wasn't at the airport...it was downtown. Turned out that the agency we booked through didn't honor Priceline, and I ended up paying an extra $200. Oh, and to top it all off? Priceline's booking fee is non-refundable. Overall, I do not recommend them. Save your money!

If you are booking airline tickets, go check airline website before you pay at priceline. Under pandemic, priceline will forfeit your residule value without mercy if you rescheudle our booking to a cheaper date, however, some airlines will keep your residule value in their travel banks, so you can use it for future booking. They often make mistakes in flight availabilities. Again check with the airline before you deal with priceline. Be aware price gouges customers in many ways. Wish there is option for no stars

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM I used their site to book a hotel room and my first attempt prompted a “This deal is no longer available” box to pop up, so I tried again because it was still showing up. I was charged for BOTH transactions less than a minute apart and Priceline refused to cancel one because they were both “valid.” Will never be using them again, terrible customer service. THE WORST. We have been trying to book a flight through them. We had a flight last year that got cancelled due to covid, and Priceline gave us a voucher, but we can only book through the phone. EVERY TIME, in the midst of confirming the booking details, they have hung up and not called back. Every time, we have been on hold for an hour and half, only to be hung up on. They will not give us our money back or allow us to book it online. Do not trust them with your money.

It should be possible to leave zero stars. Priceline is refusing to give us a refund or reschedule our room. We booked a hotel via Priceline a month ago when the COVID numbers were much lower. Now the numbers have spiked and there are new orders in our state. With over a week’s notice, they are refusing to do anything. Instead they are going to keep our $300 in the middle of a pandemic. Priceline is a scam and their Customer Service Reps are greedy, useless, lairs. I booked my room and paid fully. The hotel overbooked. I have an email from the GM stating they refunded Priceline and Priceline owes me a refund. Priceline is now claiming I was a no-show and they're not going to refund my fully paid room. You see good reviews and bad on various sites, is it worth the risk to be one of the 2/5 people they rip off? All they need is a few good (or fake) reviews to keep the scam going.

I am extremely dissatisfied with Priceline, it’s customer service and refund policies. I booked a car for a family vacation many months ago. Then Covid hit and you can guess the rest. My vacation is in August, but we canceled significant vacation due to health concerns. Priceline has said “tough” and won’t even offer a credit voucher. Given the fact that a Pandemic caused the cancellation, I simply feel ripped off. How much unjust enrichment will Priceline be allowed to receive? A class action should follow!

Beware people it turned out that booking thru the hotel is cheaper than priceline. Priceline doesn't disclose all mandatory charges the hotel might charge. You have to understand what charges priceline doesn't include. Eventually you will end up paying more than going to the hotel directly. This happened to us. When checked in, Hilton had $35 mandatory charge per day per room. Priceline doesn't show that and I was tricked. Their policy is vague and they will hold you accountable for it.

I would not even leave one star if I didn’t have to. Our experience with booking a hotel. Our mistake was trusting Priceline to recommend a cheesy , hourly, mold ridden, scary motel where my daughter and granddaughter were forced to stay . This was the Quality Inn in Ansecon NJ.
