I had reserved a rental car through Priceline back in February. The car company Ace had provided me with a car that was substandard and I returned it for a full refund 5 minutes later. The charge on my card was $255.47, Ace only returned $224.47 which was $31.00 short. Ace explained to me that they were only paid $224.47 which was the reason for the refund being $31.00 short. Ace stated the other $31.00 that you're looking for was the charge that Priceline charged. So I reached out to Priceline only to be told they could not help me. They refused to reimburse the $31.00, I will never use this online company again.

January 8/2022 Priceline: I did a reservation by mistake in different town where I was traveling, I called priceline, after 30 minutes, they said they can’t cancel the reservation because is not refundable. Reservation 62082590 So I did a second Priceline reservation in motel super 8 same date (two beds) when I arrived the motel did not do my check in, the uneducated lady said that I have to paid for a second person. why if the post-Priceline Is for two person and two beds. Motel 8 doesn’t care. So I called again Priceline, after 30 minutes and two different persons, their answer was “we can’t do nothing, if she said you have to paid the extra charge”. I didn’t check in that motel ( I saw it is a xxxj-hole with bad energies). Reservation 457636402 Trip 49409228344 I have had to paid two reservations in Priceline for two different Hotels, same night, and I couldn’t use the hospitality service. Priceline didn’t resolve my claims. priceline the worst web to buy services they don’t protect their customers. question: customer service is for what, just to have a sign “customer service“ J G

Priceline and Booking.com have absolutely no concern for their customers or good customer service. Any ratings on this site higher than 1 star must be friends, family, and employees. Any problems with any reservation that you make thru Priceline go thru Booking.com. Count on waiting at least 30 minutes on hold before an incompetent customer service agent takes the call, only to tell you to call another number because they can't help you! Then plan on having to file a claim with PayPal or your credit card company in order to force them to give you a refund because even if Priceline cancels your reservation, they give you a run-around to try and get your money back.

Less than 12 hours ago I made a reservation with Priceline for a hotel. I will be visiting Barcelona for my first time and staying one night before leaving for a Mediterranean cruise the following day. I had the hotel, Grand Central Hotel Barcelona, at the top of my list so went to book. During booking I saw an advertisement for the Priceline Deal which advertises 3 hotels of the same quality and same area for about $100 less than the price I was about to spend on the Grand Central Hotel Barcelona. Using this is essentially a gamble - you could get what you want or not, but nonetheless, you stay in a nice hotel in the same area and save some money so I didn't care... as I don't plan to spend much time at the hotel anyways. A few hours later I was doing more planning and realized the hotel was no where near the area of the hotel of choice - over an hour walk from the hub of Barcelona and the hotel that was my first choice. I messaged back and forth with Priceline which was also an awful experience. It's clear the agents are working with several individuals at once, as it took them over 10 minutes to read and respond to messages. After wasting about 45 minutes messaging just to be told there was no cancellation or transfer allowed, I called to discuss with a customer service agent over the phone. Priceline is well known and you would think they would care about customer satisfaction and understood the issue at hand which was very clear and not okay. I let them know I was happy to rebook right away with them with a credit and just get the original hotel but they said there are no exceptions. WOW! Mindblown by the lack of understanding and poor customer service and support. In addition to this, I did some research on the hotel which they said I saved 21% on, however I checked on the official hotel website and other websites and found it for over $40 less on the same date! Priceline Deals is surely a scam and I hope no one else makes the same mistake of using it. I am disputing with my bank and will not be using Priceline again.

I came across a Pricebuster offer and researched the 3 hotels, rooms and prices before moving forward. The Pricebuster assured a discount. After the reservation was awarded, I received an email that said I saved 29%, but the price at the hotel's website for a suite was less, and included a $100 resort credit. The Priceline price for the same suite was more money with no resort credit. The representative finally offered to cancel the reservation (with a $175 fee) and gave me a confirmation number. Then she called back and said it could not be cancelled. The product was misrepresented, and the problem was not solved. I could have secured a better price by going to the hotel direct. I would have liked either a cancellation and refund, a discount of 29% as promised, or an upgrade to the suite level that was at the price quoted.

We were stranded at the airport and told that we had to pay for a second vacation! Here's the full story: I booked a packaged vacation to the Dominican through Booking.com which lead us to book through Priceline.com. I called ahead to the customer service to check that there was a hotel transfer from the airport. The agent could barely speak English but ended up assuring us that a transfer was included. Then, when we got to Punta Cana, the flight landed 4 hours' drive away from our hotel-in another city. There was no transfer. No way to get us to the hotel. We were sold a package of a flight to one city(Punta Cana) and a hotel in another part of the country in another city(Puerto Plata)! We didn't know the country well and thought that it was a natural pairing in a package vacation. The Wyndham hotel refused to help us by transferring our booking to a sister hotel in Punta Cana. We were at the airport for 3 hours begging Priceline agents for help. They said that there were no refunds and no transfers. We had to buy a whole new vacation from the airport on the spot for the whole week. I've never even heard of a packaged vacation being in 2 different cities. I am amazed that nobody would help us. I will never ever book a package through Booking or Priceline. They were unhelpful and completely unreasonable, telling us we were responsible since we booked it and should have known the consequences.

I can't afford to get away much, but had a chance to get away for one night. I used Priceline's deal where they chose the hotel for you with certain amenities. The hotel I got was not a good one with complaints of drug activity in the parking lot. I called to see if anything they could do to change my reservation, but they said nothing they could do. I did agree to those terms, so Priceline isn't at fault, all the same......it is NOT a good deal and I will never use Priceline again. I don't even think I'm going to go at this point, I don't feel comfortable being at that hotel alone with my young child. Very upsetting when getting away is a rare treat and then to end up having what should have been a relaxing get away turn into worry/stress/sadness.

I booked a hotel room 3/19. When I got to the hotel it appeared to be a renovated apartment building with outdoor stairways, breezeways and doors---not shown in the property pictures or I wouldn't have booked. Contacted Priceline to CHANGE the booking and they said " it cannot be changed or cancelled". I asked ,"even if I dont feel safe there?" (I was on call for the hospital and have to go out at all hours of the night.) To that they replied, "if you experience any issues you can reach back out to us. Have a great day." I asked to speak to someone on the phone and again only got the text assistant and the same reply. I said '" since safety obviously does not matter to Priceline I will no longer use their service." they replied "I understand. Have a nice day." I lost $150 because they wouldn't change/cancel but went to the local Four Points by Sheraton (Brentwood TN) and was treated much better and feel much safer! Never use Priceline!!!!!

I wouldn't even give them 1 star, if it was an option. They should have no stars for the way they treat their customers. I made a reservation for a funeral in another city and had a rental car, bought as a bundle. I called immediately after making the reservation, as they charged me for 2 people and doubled the price of the package. The representative assured me that it was taken care of. I called the hotel and they confirmed as well. I get back home and priceline charged me for the rental car and I also paid for the hotel. It was supposed to be a bundled deal. I have poured at least 4 hours into trying to straighten this out, but dealing with priceline, is like dealing with a scammer. Actually I think they are scammers. I didn't get anywhere with them. I had to talk to over 10 people and never got answers - very agravating! They bounced me back and forth between booking.com and priceline.com, as you don't know who you are dealing with. Don't ever use priceline, I know I never, never, never will. It will be the last time they scam me. The worst customer service I have ever received in my 64 years of life. This happened March of 2022.

Nobody to pick up call and chatbot not working--wait time excessively long. Calls to Priceline always redirected to Bookings.com, but Bookings.com cannot resolve the issue and told me to contact Priceline. Is Priceline operated by their local DMV now? The real issue: Priceline listing of the hotel I booked through them advertised free Wi-Fi. However, their email says nothing about it. Further, staff at Bookings.com informed me that Wi-Fi at the hotel is not free. After I finally got someone at Priceline's chatbot to interact with me, that person referred me back to Bookings.com. Seriously? Nobody is willing to take up the responsibility? I will never use Priceline again, and I urge you not to, just to save your money, time, and sanity.

DO NOT USE PRICELINE!!! This company is dishonest and a true RIP-OFF! I reserved a mini van in Las Vegas. I paid for the rental upfront to insure that there were no hiccups during my 48 hour stay in Las Vegas. I arrived at the rental car counter after waiting in an extremely long line to get the rental care shuttle and was told my vehicle pick-up location had been changed (by Priceline) to a location that was over 20 miles away! I asked how I was suppose to go to that location and I was told to take a cab or an Uber - out of my pocket! There were four of us so of course, even that costed more money than usual. We finally get an Uber who drove forever to get to the 2nd location. When I walked in, I was told "that's your rental car pulling out of the parking lot right now". Of course, I'm thinking maybe they were taking it to be washed or gassed up. I was wrong! They had apparently rented my pre-paid vehicle to someone else who was leaving. HERE'S THE CLINCHER! They had NO MORE CARS available anywhere on the lot! I was given the cold shoulder as if I had done something wrong. I was then told that I would need to call the rental care company (Hertz) to see if they could arrange something - NO LUCK. Then I was told to call Priceline back to see if they could arrange something and they transferred my to several other representatives who were unable to help me. After nearly breaking down in the rental car office, one of the customer service personnel felt so bad that we were stranded, rented me an Uber to take me even farther away to a totally separate location to pick up a car. *Also, the Uber that was ordered by the Hertz person was for one passenger so I had to pay out of my pocket a second time to upgrade for four passengers. When we finally arrived several hours later we were given a vehicle that I wouldn't offer to a person I hated. It was a real jalopy! Of course, I had to pay another deposit for that jalopy AND I would end up having to drive WAY back over there to return it before taking an Uber to the airport when it was time to leave (approx. 35 miles). Needless to say, by the time we finally got a car we were way late for our other reservations, exhausted and starving. Apparently Priceline makes promises that they cannot deliver and utilizes sub-standard packages for vehicle rentals. I wasted way more time and money that I simply didn't have but the worst part is - I was so upset by the time I settled down, it was already time to leave Las Vegas. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I will NEVER USE PRICELINE again!

I will NEVER book with Priceline AGAIN! They allowed the SLEEZY run down not fit for a animal to stay in Petersburg Hotel in Petersburg VA to scam me & ain’t no telling how many others out of my money! I make reservations & pay in advance to stay there. I get there & SWEAR I’m in a bad joke from the ACTUAL look & conditions of this hotel compared to the pictures on Priceline’s website. They tell me they don’t have a room for me after sending me to about 5 filthy used uncleaned rooms. They tell me to call Priceline & tell them I couldn’t stay because they didn’t have a room for me. I call Priceline they gone tell me it’s the hotels policy that no refunds be made. So me along with I don’t know how many others booking rooms through Priceline at this sleezy bag hotel just to get there not have a room & be out of our money. I can’t BELIEVE Priceline is backing such false advertising dirty rotten money taking scheme like this!

Resort fee amount was not disclosed. Priceline's Customer Service and the Supervisor would not do anything to correct it. They claimed that the fine print already stated that hotel could hold the deposit for incidental charge "and resort fee" (of any amount). By the way, the disclosure is the general one which they post on every page. Other booking agencies (Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity, etc) disclosed resort fee amount, if any, on their websites, but not Priceline. No more Priceline for me ever again. Warning: never just look at the booking price on priceline. You might get a surprise charge by the hotel simply because Priceline wanted their rate to look cheaper by not properly disclosing associated mandatory fees.

I booked a rental car using priceline, in puerto vallarta MX, the company that ownedthe car was MEX rental, I was charged 380 dollars for 6 days of rental, when I arrived to puerto vallarta, the rental company MEX, added another 400 dollars in insurance for those 6 days, they refused to refund my money if I chose to cancel the rental, so I ended up paying twice the cost for a car that was in deplorable conditions, if you are planning on renting a car in puerto vallarta, do not use priceline and please do you your self a favor and stay away from MEX rental car, these two are the worst in the market.

Priceline is disgusting. Requested a cancellation of a car rental due to COVID, which was booked 4 months ago and not due to pick up for a few more weeks. They advised me that I could not even cancel the reservation and would therefore have to pay the balance due even though I wouldn't be picking up the car. Never heard of such as thing. Contacted the actual car company, Dollar, who indicated they hadn't even been paid by Priceline and wouldn't be paid until the car was picked up and they could not cancel the reservation because it was made through Priceline. I will NEVER use Priceline again.

DO NOT BOOK WITH PRICELINE!!!! They do not advertise correct pricing. Booked a rental car that never showed up. Was told on website and itinerary it was located in the airport - LIE. Needed a shuttle. Every 10 minutes they are supposed to come, and no one came after an hour, 3 calls, and several texts. Won't refund because "not their fault". Also, the room was charged TWICE. They charged another 900 almost after we got to the hotel! Priceline said it's booking.com responsibility even though I booked through them. On top of that, the seats we picked magically disappeared the day before the flight, and then we had to pay to sit together because no available free seats were there. All together AFTER my itinerary I was charged almost $1600 due to Priceline's false advertisement. Don't be fooled!

I cannot believe after me being patient for 10 days while they claimed they had do an investigation, someone on their supervisory team told me I still had to wait more time for a refund do back to me because of a service I didn't receive. I only called four (4) times about the same issue. Their rationale, logic, customer service, and operating procedure are in the tank. I will not do business, going forward, under any circumstances. And if anyone mentions their name in conversation, I will gladly provide a list of 10 of their competitors, whom all are more capable and competent of providing a more enjoyable, pleasurable, decent experience.

I have been charged for a non refundable non amendable trip however Priceline cancelled my reservation on me months later just two weeks before my wife’s birthday trip out of the country. We have non refundable plane tickets, friends locked into the hotel we are supposed to be at. The hotel is available with our same room on their agoda partner site they said they book through RIGHT NOW. I’m looking at it and their highest support says it isn’t there and tries to blame the hotel for cancelling. I have contacted the hotel multiple times and they have assured me had a valid reservation for quite a while until Priceline has now cancelled it. Just weeks before we would now be paying GREATY more to just rebook somewhere else. I am out thousands of dollars with multiple situations I am looking at by doing nothing wrong on my end at all. Besides this wife Christmas and birthday gift gone and friends stranded at a hotel to celebrate her where she now won’t be thanks to Priceline yet no support person says they have the ability to help only refund my great rate they advertised and charged me for months ago.

I purchased two tickets for my minor brother and sister to fly across country to come visit me and they were left stranded in a strange city when their first flight was late and they missed their connecting flight as a result. I repeatedly asked both companies before the kids boarded, if they would for sure be able to make their connecting flights. They all said yes, there shouldn’t be a problem. Now they’re stuck in a strange city overnight in a place I cannot get to them. Priceline and United Airlines wanted to point the finger at each other. I even paid for travel insurance. Terrible customer service. Why sell a service you refuse to honor? I’ll never use Priceline or United Airlines again.

Sold me trip cancelation protection then would not honor it. Paid $1300 for plane tickets through Priceline and they recommended trip protection in case I had to cancel or reschedule because they are non-refundable. Since they are non-refundable of course I paid the $75 fee. Fast forward 5 months, tested covid positive and was prohibited from flying. Went to priceline.com, no place to cancel. After 44 minutes on hold, they referred me to a 3rd party insurance company to submit a claim. Another 50 minutes on hold gave up. Found the insurance company online filled out a very lengthy form only to be redirected to a page that said "we'll email you another form to make your claim. That was 4 days ago! DO NOT GO THROUGH PRICELINE or any of those sites like orbits, etc. They are deceitful and use trickery to take your money. Go directly to the airline. They answer the phone, can speak English and care.

Booked an express deal for 4 star hotel for 1 night. Price listed was $123/night. I hit Book, and was given room choice, price still $123. As soon as I chose room, the price jumped to $154/ + taxes! After 45 minute wait on chat, I called customer service and after 20 more minutes, was told basically that prices can change at any time, and they show the final price before you commit to booking. Absolute lie. I have screen shots that say otherwise, and then they said I needed to read their contract, which I did. No such clause was found in the contract, so I asked to escalate. Manager told me the same, and when I asked to cancel, she said we were going in circles, and she hung up on me!

Twice now with Priceline I had to cancel a flight and hotel due to Covid and they were unable to help me. For the flight they would only credit me. So I took that. When I tried to rebook a new flight the representative told me she was having difficulties trying to book my flight and she was sorry. This was after being on the phone with her for 2.5 hours. I got frustrated and just told her to forget it I will try another time. Now, for the hotel I booked two room and the last day before canceling my daughter who was going with me came up with a positive covid test that morning. So, we tried canceling her room early in morning and we got the run around. They even told us to email the results and they will see what they can do. They could not cancel the room at all, but I would get an email 3 to 5 days with the results from the solution team. Again, I was very disappointed. I highly suggest paying extra and going directly through the hotel or airlines because Priceline is a zero to me when you have an emergency change on your reservations. Oh, I forgot to mention I even bought the insurance on the flight I purchased. Never again will I use Priceline!!! I just tore up there reward credit card too.

I made a reservation through Priceline for a rental car (with Thrifty) starting on Dec 27th 11pm and ending on Dec 30th on 9pm. When I got to the car rental office, after waiting for over 1h, I was told there were no cars left and to come back the day after. A shame. I came back on Dec 28th and picked up the car at 9.39AM as per receipt. I claimed a refund from Priceline for the part of car rental I did not use (Thrifty did not honor the reservation) but they reached out to Thrifty and they say there is no proof there was no car left on Dec 27th. This is ridiculuos as the systems can prove there were no cars left. Priceline just kept my money and gave me no refund for the portion of car rental I was not allowed to use. They did nothing to solve the issue. Scam. Horrible customer service.

I made a car reservation and never received confirmation details. I called Priceline the week of my trip to obtain the details for my reservation such as where and when to pick up the car. The man on the phone was incredibly rude (I thought he was having a bad day, but no they're all like that), and he refused to honor my reservation. He literally canceled my reservation and then also refused to give me a car rental for a different date or a refund. He instructed me to do a chargeback through my credit card and hung up on me. Months later, Priceline is disputing the claim with fraudulent and false information. They reported that I asked to cancel the reservation, which is untrue, I had to rent a car from somewhere else because they wouldn't honor my reservation. They also requested that I submit the rental agreement or invoice I received at the time of making the reservation, which is a joke because they know they didn't send me anything. Turns out, Priceline doesn't have the rental agreement or invoice either. Priceline submitted a screenshot of a website page where they entered in information to make up the details of a car rental at my same price, but they're idiots because the screenshot says at the top "Almost done! Enter your details and complete your booking now." It isn't even a screenshot of my car rental, it's all fabricated. I can't get my money back because they keep submitting fake and fraudulent info, numerous examples beyond the one above, and they scammed me out of $244.69. I called Priceline back and the man was just as rude as the last time I had to speak with a representative over there. He told me that I was basically a fool for filing a dispute because now I will never get a refund and that he refuses to give me documentation regarding the cancelation because it can be submitted to help my claim. He also hung up on me. Do everything you can to avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of cheap car rental, travel agency, etc. services out there that won't scam you and steal your money. Go with anyone but Priceline.

I will NEVER use Priceline again!! We had reservations for 2 nights at Country Inn and Suits in Meterine, LA. We called our hotel and they didn’t have our reservations. So we call customer service and they absolutely no help, plus they didn’t speak English. We were stranded in New Orleans, La on New Years Eve without a room. Customer service kept telling us that they couldn’t find us a room and would just refund our money. That’s all good and well but we still had no room to stay in. We found hotel openings on their website but they claimed they couldn’t see it on their side. This company is unreliable and will leave you high and dry. Customer service sucks!!!!! I booked a rental car through Priceline. It was at Economy Rent A car. If you read any review for Economy Rent a car you will see these guys are crooks. Priceline refused to reimburse me and I lost $845. This not only make Priceline crooks but they knowingly send their customers to crooks. Priceline doesn't care about you. Below is my reviews for the expereince with Economu Rent a Car "I Every 1 star review is true. These guys are crooks. Does Priceline even vet companies they are sending their customers to. Youtube search for "Rental car ripoffs: Hidden camera investigation (Marketplace)" Rented through Priceline. Priceline says this is at the airport. It's not. You have to take a train and shuttle to get here. One price is stated but they try to steal your money in other way...I was trying to use my own insurance but for that I was asked $5/day. I have never heard of any other company that does this. I refused to pay this extra fee and said they no loner had a car for me. Every single customer at the store was furious because they were trying to scam people out of their money and they get away with it because the people who come thier after a train ride and a shuttle ride after landing at the airport have no choice. unfortunately I read their reviews and watched their youtube video too late. Priceline/Economy Rent a car stole $845 from me. Both are crooks"

I booked a roundtrip airfare through Priceline and needed to reschedule the arrival time to co inside with an apartment rental. To make things even more confusing is that the reservation was listed as American Airlines, but in reality the flight was thru Alaska Airlines...?? Anyway, I checked the departure times thru Priceline which was also one way as originally scheduled and called Priceline's customer service. She confirmed that my flight was really thru Alaska, not America , but could not reschedule my flight to the other option even though this flight was available thru their site. So I thought, maybe it would be easier to cancel . Couldn't get an answer about that either. Asked to get a call back from a supervisor as the agent said they were busy . Received a call back from a "supervisor" who I could barely understand who offered me a 1 stop flight thru American with a 40 minute transfer in Dallas. ABSOLUTELY NO HELP WHAT SO EVER! I will continue to pursue this, but strongly recommend to NOT USE PRICELINE. They don't care and are not helpful and might add deceptive.

Upon choosing a pick up location for a car rental that I had wanted to book due to a snow storm predicted to happen on Christmas Day, my drive to visit my family would take one hour long and wanted to rent a safe vehicle to do so.  The pick up location I had chosen was close to my house and was walking distance away.  Upon completing my rental purchase, the email confirmation I received for the pick up location changed to one that is 40 minutes away from me.  I called priceline immediately and told them of the situation.  They told me this happened as the location I originally chosen did not have any cars available and auto defaulted to the next location closest to me.  I told them I wanted a refund.  After speaking with 2 different people and was on hold for 20 minutes was was told someone would call me back about the refund.  I called them again in 3 hours to follow up and was told I had passed my pick up time and now I will NOT be able to get a refund issued!!!! I was then again told someone would call me back. It has now been 5 days and I still have not heard from anyone. I will NEVER use priceline again.

i was supposed to travel to London December 2021 with my family of 5 I was booked on VIrgin Atlantic airways, due to covid outbreak we decided to cancel. The Virgin Atlantic website said that due to covid they would have a no change fees no cancel fee and issue vouchers for future travel which my tickets would have qualified for. When i called priceline to cancel they said since when I bought my tickets it was no cancel change they would not honor Virgins exception that they had made. I called Virgin back and they said they can absolutely honor it if they want all they have to do is put it through, I went back and forth all day, resulting in escalation, 8 hours on the phone and a $595 change fee. Virgin actually suggested i should take legal action against PRiceline since they refused to honor their policy. I will be taking their advice

Worst experience I have ever had. I had a family trip planned to TX the week before Christmas. After making a mistake on my reservation I contacted Priceline to get it fixed but then they told me I needed to contact NU the car rental Place directly, Even though I directly booked through PRICELINE !! I spoke to a gentleman over the phone who Confirmed that he could change my time and that it was ok for me To Pick up my car at 7 in stage of 12. I took a Uber to the place to pick up my vehicle only to be met with an EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE UNPROFESSIONAL SUPERVISOR WHO told me she would not be able to provide me my vehicle. I explained I had my 3 children waiting to leave and the rep told me I could she continued to explain she “did not care who I spoke to or what they said they would not honor it” I proceeded to ask her if I could speak to her manager and she said no and proceeded to call Him And tell me he wouldn’t be able to help me I told her even if I couldn’t get my car I wanted to tell him my experience and she said “he didn’t want to be bothered” she then started yelling at me and telling me to leave and I told her no I want to talk to a manager and she PROCEEDED TO CALL THE POLICE (911) on me. The officer came and luckily he was nice as I am an African American women which it would have went another way. I was going to have to walk to another rental place but fortunately the nice office gave me a ride. I was never able to get my vehicle as the lady said she would not rent to me. It took me 2 hours after that to get a rental on spot. I called NU and Priceline and they refused and refund me my money so now I am out of $210 DISGUSTING!!! This company is a scam. If it was any other brand they would have never treated me like this. I would have been able to pick up my car and get on the road. This company tries to lure you in with low prices only to steal your money due to their lack of customer service and disrespect I am going to go up the ladder to corporate until this issue gets resolved because at this point this is theft. I was in tears at how I was treated. Extremely shocked by what they manager said. I have a recording of the way she spoke to me While I was calm. STOP STEALING FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!!!!!!! I contact Priceline and they refused to help me get my money back! And left me stranded with no vehicle or money

If I could do less than a 1 star I would. I literally hate this company so bad. First off you will never speak to someone who can actually speak a decent amount of english. So neither you or the customer service rep can understand each other. Family members we were flying to see got exposed to Covid, so we cancled our flights with the full credit to go back towards the same airline. They got their tests back and it was all negative so when we look for new flights later in the week with the same airline it will show a price on the website and app but when you call in to speak with these idiots at priceline, they have consistently told us it is a different price than what we are seeing online and that makes absolutely zero sense at all. All we have wanted to do for a week now is redeem our credit towards the price we are seeing online and they keep jacking up the price on us basically making it pointless to use the credit rather than just book without it. So now we just will not spend christmas with family simply because we cant afford $1000 plane tickets. It would bring great joy to me if this company went bankrupt and ran to the ground. These POS will never get another dime from us. #ExpediaForLife

The worse vacation package of my life by far. I took my long term partner on a 5 star "all inclusive" vacation package for 9 days. 1rst, we we not told about the new E tickets requirement to enter the Dominican republic, which cause a delay that made us miss our flight departure. After calling customer service, we never got an apology or any type of compensation what's so ever, all that to being told after two hours of being transferred several time and having two call backs, that they were not going t help us out and hang up on me. "I've recorded everything". 2nd, the next day, got the E ticket, got on the plane, and got to the republics. To realize there was no one from Priceline to direct us to our transportation to the hotel. To realize that there was NO Transportation Provided To the Hotel. So, we had to find a taxi and fight off several taxi drivers trying to take off with our luggage, till police came to stop them from fighting among themselves. All that to finally being over charged and being thrown on a small rundown bus from the "our airline". 3rd, extending our stay. This was an ordeal experience of about two days of phone calls of calling the airline and Priceline back and forth just for the airline tickets. Since we missed our first flight they cancelled our return flight. Now it had to be reactivated and reopen to change the date. I did spend a good 8 hours of my vacation on the phone just for this. RIDICULOUS. Anyway, there was other things, but I have already wasted way to much time with them already. I have booked several hotels and several flights with them in the past with no trouble, but for ANY all inclusive packages, I Will Stay Away from them.

I bought a hotel room through Priceline at the Hawthorne Suites in Manchester MA. Upon checkin in the hotel was closed. Nobody was at the check in desk and there was a sign with a phone number to call. Nobody answered the phone for more than one hour. I called priceline to cancel the reservation and I was told that, given the situation I would get a refund. Today Priceline wrote an email saying that the hotel does not agree to refund the amount paid and that therefore they will not refund me anything. At this point I think that Priceline should take responsibility for selling a service that cannot be used. It’s like selling a car that cannot be driven… What’s the use of it??? Therefore: do not trust Priceline and do not book hotels or cars through that website. It’s very unreliable!!!

Not reliable at all never use Priceline I rather give -5 stars if system allowed. Priceline booking system is not reliable, and when they found it was their mistakes, they are very good at transferring their responsibilities to others or just disconnecting the call. I booked two Delta flight tickets with seats selected in main cabin (my husband has claustrophobia so he must sit on the aisle seats) on 11/19/2021, and got conformation email on the same day, and credit card was also charged on the same day. 10 days after the reservation (one and a half days before our departure), I logged in Delta website but found that there is no any seats booked in all our four flights. Yes, Priceline DID NOT book any seats for any of our flights. I was in a hurry to reserved the seats, and contacted Priceline to question about this big mistake they’ve made. An agent name Ian told me that it because the airline doesn’t allow priceline to choose seats (latterly I called delta and confirmed that it is not the case. Delta accepts seat booking from third party website.). I then contacted Priceline again, and waited for over an hour to reach their escalating team, a representative named Avery, she then told me that in Priceline, also includes all other third party agencies, all flight bookings are not guaranteed for seat selecting. I asked her to email me this Priceline rule but she said they don’t have written documents for it. When I questioned her why there is no email to inform me the seats were not booked, she didn’t have any answer. When I questioned her about this discrepancy, she disconnected the phone line. I have used lots of thirty party website to book flights for several years and every time I got the seat I selected when booking except this time through Priceline. Be aware, your booking through Priceline does not guarantee the seat you selected, and you will be disconnected when you push for answers. Will never ever use Priceline again.

My credit card company automatically keeps an eye on unusually large transactions. They text me to verify whether the transaction is legit. Well, I was trying to book a flight and car, and, as expected, the payment was held up while my credit card company texted me. I replied that yes, this was a valid transaction -- only to find that Priceline had rejected my card because of that procedure. Priceline would not allow me to try again. When you catch up with the times and become aware that credit card companies have this service, let me know and I will give you another chance; in the meantime, I booked the trip with your competitor using the same "rejected" card. You lost your chance.

My business trip was changed (not canceled) one day so I called to see what we could do about the rental car. I thought I might need to pay a fee, which is understandable. The airline was extremely helpful, but not Priceline when it came to the car rental. I received a great deal of Customerservice-ese: "I understand...I wish there was something we could do...etc." They told me to call the rental company (Thrifty). Guess who Thrifty told me to call? Yep. I'll never use Priceline again. I've had MUCH better experiences with Kayak and Hotwire. I feel sorry for the people who work for this faceless corporation that does not value people at all.

Here is an email I sent to Priceline: Dear Priceline, I wish to inform you of a very negative experience I had with Priceline. We rented a car (see confirmation in subject line). The price was the best around, and I totally get that it said that the reservation cannot be changed. I have no desire to change the reservation date, time, or name of the driver. I have no desire to cancel the reservation (other than knowing that I am supporting priceline). The problem is that when I making the reservation, there was no option available to add a toddler seat. I checked several times to make sure. I erroneously thought that Priceline, being a reasonable company, would let me add the option later. Once the reservation was booked, the only option I saw was to add insurance (so technically, you can change the reservation to some degree). I called Alamo who said that they cannot reserve a toddler seat for us because it came from Priceline. They said I would have to contact Priceline. I contacted Priceline and explained the situation. Almost unbelievably the rep stated that the reservation could not be changed so that we could not add a toddler seat. She said that "usually" there is an option when you book. Well, there wasn't. Again I get that you do not want us to change the reservation once it is booked (that is how you keep your prices low), but it is absolutely ridiculous that you are not willing to get MORE MONEY from me to add a toddler seat. Me paying you MORE MONEY would benefit you. I am not asking for a refund or to change the itinerary - I am merely wanting to PAY YOU to get a toddler seat reserved. Yet no matter how much I pleaded with the rep she denied my request. You have the most insane business model that you do not accept money from customers to add an option onto the reservation. I could understand that if the option was there in the first place and I declined it, that later I could not add it. But it was never an option to begin with! This is an impossible situation - the option is not there when you book, Alamo can't later add it, and Priceline can't later add it either even though I am willing to PAY YOU MONEY for it. I am never, ever using Priceline again. Your business model and customer service leave a lot to be desired. I have left appropriate reviews and surveys that Priceline wanted me to do to express my dismay at how terrible an experience this was. Yes, the prices are lower, but then we have to deal with this headache. In the future we will be using your competitors. I will inform everyone I know about this (who also have children) so that they will be saved of a similar headache. Sincerely, Very Upset Customer

I was going on a conference trip to Africa and started to feel sick and have pains after getting off my first flight hours before getting on my next one. I called to switch my ticket to another flight the next day which was available but the only customer service I was able to reach was these foreign Indian people with fake American names that do not understand anything and refused to listen to what issue was but instead sent me to different areas and after being on the phone for 5 hours they refused to get me a ticket due to it being past the time. Do not use them I use to be a big fan since college but never had such terrible customer service and lack of compression we will not use them personally or for the business anymore.

GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is cheating and stealing all of us with its policy and training on its agents. I booked airline tickets from Houston to Manila and paid flexible change, which means I will pay only the difference of the rate at the time if I reschedule my tickets, in this pandemic period to protect myself. But Priceline.com keeps stealing from me. I called Princeline.com agent to reschedule my tickets today. I called 5 times this morning, and in the first 3 time agents kept silent after said Hello playing music all the way. Then the 4th time and 5th time had a lady agent tried to help. I presented the trip and tickets I found in Kayak.com, then she asked carefully the flight numbers then give me a price which is over $3300 more expensive than the rate I found in Kayak.com. Her explanation is "Kayak.com is not Priceline.com" and her price is from Priceline.com. This made me very uncomfortable, but I decide that I will try to find a trip in Princeline.com then call its agent to do the reschedule again. I searched the trip in Priceline.com in the evening again and found the proper trip with reasonable price, even though rate has doubled. I called Priceline.com. An agent started working on the reschedule of my trip. What surprised me is that she told me that she cannot use the price searched/displayed on Priceline.com but can only use another system's rate, then you know what happened -- the rated is over $2000 much more than the price displayed on Priceline.com -- same depart/return dates and same flights but price has gone up by over $2000. I kept asking her if this is Priceline.com policy for you agents to cheat customers in this terrible way after the same situation happened to me twice already this time, she can say nothing but silent, still insisted on that she can only let me have this price. I told her that I will put what I experienced today on the web review, but she can only kept silent. I would say, GUYS stay away from Priceline.com which is cheating and stealing all of us with its policy and training on its agents.

I booked a Hotel reservation using Express Deal. Before making the final booking, I called Priceline and reconfirmed the final amount. The Priceline Customer Service Representative confined that whatever is shown on Priceline.com will be the final amount, including all taxes. When I was checking out from the hotel, they asked me to pay the resort fee, which was 204$. At that time, I called Priceline again to check this. I was on the call with them for approximately 35 minutes, out of which I was on hold last 15-20 minutes. Since I had to catch my flight, I hung up the call and paid the resort fee. When I called that Priceline after reaching home to request the refund, Priceline dropped the 1st call; on the next call, I told the same thing for the 3rd time, and then again, I was transferred to a senior person. A senior person raised a ticket and within 2 hours got back to me. The customer representative said that you clicked on the 'Complete Booking' button at the time of booking, which implies that "By selecting Complete Booking you agree to the Booking Conditions (this link opens in a modal dialog) Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy." In this section, a small line mentions that the customer is responsible for paying resort fees at the hotel. I told them that I confirmed this with Priceline before booking the hotel, and he/she did not mention such a thing, but again the person on call was not listening and was changing the statement every minute. After that, they said they would investigate the phone recording; however, even if they confirm that the customer representative gave the wrong information, I won't get any refund. This happened when I was a VIP Blue member of Priceline.

Priceline travel sucks. I've been using their services for well over a decade. My daughter and I were supposed to be traveling to Atlanta to go to an awards ceremony on the 13th of this month but, my daughter has her meeting for a Congressional Nomination to try and get into the Naval Academy the same day. We just found this out today. Our trip is 9 days away and we booked a full package trip with them (air, hotel and car). All is not refundable or even transferable! I can't get a straight answer from anyone. Priceline says it's the operator's policy, not theirs. I call the individual operator's and they tell me to call Priceline. Unreal.

God awful company. All you can really do is give them your money to book something. But should a cancellation, delay, natural distaste, or anything else come up, well then you're basically screwed because their customer support its nonexistent. Their agents are always incredibly unhelpful, but the thing is, they don't care, they don't want to help you. The wait time is always hours and hours long. Whenever I picked the callback option, they never call back, so you have no choice but to wait HOURS. Tried to call an agent to use up credits for American Airlines. When I told him which flight I wanted to use my credits on, he kept saying the flight wasn't available. But upon refreshing the flight was still there, even let me check out and buy the ticket for the flight and everything. So basically.. he just wouldn't let me use my credits and wanted to coerce more money out of me to book the flight out of picket and not use my credits?? Had a flight cancelled, so tried to re-book (as is my right, even received an email stating I was allowed to re-book it) and they agent just did nothing to help. They would not re-book me at a time which worked with my schedule. Called the airline directly, and had no problems re-booking the flight. Basically Priceline is just a scam, don't expect any kind of customer support.

I am extremely disheartened by this experience. I was quoted at $36 per day and upon confirmation, the price almost doubled to $60.75 daily. I called customer support twice, inquiring about the price discrepancy. The first time, I was placed on an indefinite hold. I felt neglected. With the second call, the agent refused to assist me, stating that the ticket is non-refundable per company policy. While I certainly understand the regulatory aspects of a policy, I do not think it is fair or just that a customer must surrender their right to change their mind when the price per day is nearly doubled. I felt that this was an extremely dishonest transaction. I will not be using Priceline moving forward as I do not feel like they act with integrity or understanding of their clientele.

After a horrible experience at a Priceline recommendation, we book and stayed in April. We left the hotel( a 3 star) due to drug use and the chemicals the staff sprayed causing an asthma attack. I contact Priceline, the supervisor advised me the refund was processed. Today my card company advised NO refund was processed. I contact Priceline today Nia also advised the refund was processed a minimum of 5 times during the call. I spoke with Jared to obtain verification. He stated both the mgr and agent lied and no refund was made. Asked to speak to a mgr, he advised his mgr would call me directly. No one ever called, Priceline fails on many levels. Will never use again, or recommend. As a travel consultant, I can say PL customer service is unhelpful, unwilling to help, or they do not stand by their recommendations. Choose any other vendor.

Worst company to deal with. My family and friends have booked 2 rooms with priceline 1 month ahead of time for our Columbus Day weekend trip. We got to the hotel and they told us only 1 room was reserved. We called Priceline and they said just cancel the reservation and we will look for a 2 room around the area for you so you can stay tonight. We were on the phone with Priceline for 3 hours and they switched me from customer service to sales and back to customer service and sales and customer service and manager. At the end all they can do is refund me and THAT IS IT. They said they will open up a case and call me back. It has been 5 days and no phone call.. NEVER EVER.. I MEAN IT NEVER EVER book anything from them cause your hotel room or anything you reserve will not be there and that will ruin your trip.

They have taken money from me by charging two times for services including rental car and hotel. Their answer to helping a customer is to hang up. The people employed by them at a foreign call center can do nothing to help if anything goes wrong. My flight was behind (those things happen). They charged me for a five day car rental and five day hotel stay when a full day was not used due to the flight delay and then the rental car company said their reservation was no good because my flight delay and I had to pay again with no price concession and their customer service does not negotiate for you. My trip was awful and I was the only one to stay in the airport that night because everyone else had a travel service that could get their car and I did not. They will not break anything out of a package. Just don’t do it. Hotels can be obtained as cheaply booking direct and so can flights and car rental. It is not easier or cheaper to use this service. Just don’t do it.

I booked and paid in advance for a package to Aruba that included a rental car but when I arrived in Aruba the rental car company did not have a car for me because they overbooked so I was forced to find a car with another company and pay them in cash. I notified Priceline.com immediately and requested a refund for the car rental portion of my package as it was not provided. Three weeks, and many hours of speaking with customer services agents and supervisors I have been run around, told multiple things and out and out was lied to. They never called the original rental car company, but I did and the told me Priceline didn’t reach out. I deserve my refund and I’m have not gotten it. Priceline SUCKS!!!!! I have filed with the BBB and NYS Attorney General. They shouldn’t be allowed to do this to people!!!! NEVER USE PRICELINE!!!!

If you are considering doing business with Priceline.. save yourself the heat and just pay the extra few dollars and go with a reputable company… here is my story thus far.. I am approximately 41 days or 6 weeks in with NO resolution… This is my 12th call since August 3, 2021 and each time I am told something different. I had a rental car that literally broke down on me and I received a replacement vehicle that I could NOT drive bc the registration was expired. I was stopped by the police and advised that I should not continue to drive this car. I complained to Thrifty only to be told I MUST report this to Priceline for resolution. I began contacting Priceline on August 3, 2021 and have continuously been given the “runaround” Ever since. Every call has ended with“ I will email…. Dept and they will FollowUp with you directly.. only that the FollowUp has NEVER happened … I have documented my last 3 phone calls. 09/09/21 Priceline Sr Customer Relations Rep Cris - advised he will escalate to “Priceline operations team bc Thrifty was paid using Priceline voucher and he is unsure what is meant by previous representatives note “Thrifty will refund customer directly” 09/13/21 - Marco Priceline no option for Priceline to process a refund.. can only email Thrifty but Priceline canNOT process a refund. Marco was also very rushed and rude. Customer disconnected call.. Called back for 3rd time on 09/13/21 - spoke Terri - advised she sees the notes but I need to speak with Customer Relations directly bc she is unable to see emails.. transferred me to Ron - Sr. Agent - still waiting
