Select Blinds was created by entrepreneur Rick Steele after he noticed a need for affordable custom-made blinds and shades. Opening its doors in 2003, Select Blinds has grown to cover every state in the U.S. and has served over 200,000 customers. Warranty Options

Customers at Select Blinds can choose from three different warranty options: the 3-Year Limited Warranty, the 5-Year Limited Warranty, or the 5-Year Unlimited Warranty. Only the 3-Year Limited Warranty is free, although customers have the option to upgrade their warranty at a higher cost. Though these are not the best warranties in the industry, it is nice for customers to have multiple options.

I have used select blinds now in three different houses. There pricing is always outstanding and the holiday and random middle of the week deals are a big plus. The blinds come custom cut and ready to install (as long as your measurements were correct). The blinds are excellent quality and if something goes wrong, breaks, or arrives damaged they are super responsive and quick to action. Anytime I am looking for blinds or someone asks where should they go this is always my first recommendation. I ordered the select wave cordless blinds this time and really like them. The built in valance and the hardware that they came with did the job without having to replace with more sturdy screws. The opening and titling of the blinds takes some getting used to since there is no wand or cord but once you get the hang of it it’s easy. My only issue is with how many blinds I received damaged from carrier due to the blinds not really being packaged very padded. However select blinds offers an online claims process that is easy and they respond with a solution with in a day or two. If you are on the fence I assure you this is the way to go.

The blinds were easy to install and block the light and heat well. The only difficulties I came across were with a circle blind being slightly off which they replaced and the installation for a sliding blind for a large sliding door. The installation for the sliding door blind was okay but there were some little sections that were not addressed in the instructions for the strings used for tension. After installation, the product was great. The only thing after time is that the window blinds don’t go all the way back up. I noticed after about 2 years, the blinds will only go up about 40% of the way if even that far. I don’t generally need to open them all the way so it’s not a big problem for me. Overall, I’m satisfied with the product.

Stumbled across this company w/a google search and was admittedly dubious when I saw how inexpensive they were. Literally cost 1/3 the price of other options. Well, I took a chance and ordered a Roman shade anyway (w/lining) and it is PERFECT in every way: easy to install, precise fit (I was worried I measured it wrong!), outstanding communication throughout the process (they send you email updates: when they receive the order; give you 48 hours for corrections; when they’re producing your blinds; and when it’s shipped!) LOVE LOVE LOVE this product & company!

Select Blinds sent us samples within just a couple of days and our final product arrived a few days after we ordered as well. The quality was wonderful - especially for the price! They custom made the blinds and they fit perfectly in our windows.

Service is awful, I ordered top down bottom up blinds, my confirmation email shows that also. However I received regular blinds I can buy at Menards or Home Depot. When I called I was told I ordered the wrong blinds when asked about the picture in my confirmation email customer service said it shows that because that is an option. Wanted to return the blinds and I can only get 50% back. I will never shop here again false information customer service is awful
