I had allstate back in 2016 and had it until about late 2019 until they started charging me all these new fees and when I asked about it they said it was a proration for my new bill. I didn't start a new contract to have a new bill. I had just updated my insurance to add comprehensive back on and they charge me $200+ in "new fees". No thanks.

I have had State Farm insurance for over sixty years. This company has always been there for me whenever I have been in an auto accident that was not my fault. Their guidance is great. I have complete coverage for my car.

Auto Insurance has been good and they have been helpful when we needed it. But, I have been unimpressed with their ability to listen and keep our information straight. They have called and asked to clarify the same thing over and over and it seems to be different employees calling to double check each time. We also asked them to stop sending us our statement every month in the mail but they still do. Their service has been great but their communication and listening has been a 3/10.

Allstate and State Farm offer similar discounts, including personalized rates based on driving habits monitored through an app. Drive Safe & Save™ is State Farm's program. Drivewise is Allstate's. Allstate also offers a Milewise program in some states that bases your rate on the miles driven.
Allstate also incentivizes safe driving through a bonus for every six months you drive accident free and Allstate Rewards. These can be accessed through its Drivewise program. If you're interested in perks like these, Allstate is worth exploring further.
Both State Farm and Allstate offer personal, rideshare, and classic car insurance. Allstate also offers coverage for your car's sound system and Mexico car insurance. Employers can find commercial auto insurance through State Farm. In some cases, the kind of coverage you want may affect which insurer is a better fit.
