While voice and video calling are readily available, if mobile device customers want conference calling, call transfer, presence, or call recording, an in-app purchase will have to be made.

The Bottom Line

Whether you are looking for a personal or work softphone for your VoIP service, Zoiper is a reliable choice. Already compatible with lots of providers, this app will give you basic call control, whether you are a frequent traveler, on a trip abroad, or just for receiving calls for your home or work VoIP number.

Zoiper is service-independent BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), so you can choose a different provider and still use the same app interface.

Remember that this is not a phone service provider with bundled service and softphone; however, once you get your phone service, you can use it on Zoiper.
