CenturyLink is a well-known Internet provider that also offers VoIP solutions. These solutions include hosted, network, and on-premise managed VoIP. Assisting customers in residential areas and enterprise level businesses, CenturyLink is the second largest U.S. communications provider to global enterprise customers.
CenturyLink offers three main VoIP solutions. Each one addresses the different needs a business may have with its communication goals.
Hosted VoIP can easily be scaled to meet business needs. It is recommended for established businesses that need off-site management requiring little to no IT support.
Network VoIP cuts down on costs by utilizing the company’s existing equipment and session-based billing. This solution combines VoIP with SIP trunking which provides a single use platform for the whole office to share.
On-Premise Managed VoIP allows businesses to take full control of their voice infrastructure. Each plan comes with a CenturyLink support team dedicated to their office with 24/7 proactive management.
CenturyLink offers over 60 premium VoIP features and 26 unified communication features with additional add-on features. VoIP solutions are available for small businesses, medium businesses, and enterprise-level companies.

There are three VoIP options for an enterprise level company. These include SIP trunk for enterprise, SIP trunk for multi-national enterprise, and hosted VoIP. Each of these offers advanced features and high-quality calling to fit the needs of your company.

CenturyLink offers prices and bundles for small business and personal VoIP but does not offer any pricing information for enterprise level contracts. In order for a company to get a quote, it will need to contact a CenturyLink sales representative. This can be frustrating if you are comparing prices and services with other VoIP providers. It takes time and because sales representatives have a negative stigma attached to them, it may deter people from wanting to call for a quote.
The VOIP phone functionality was set up and worked well. The packets were priority routed to not caused packet loss on voice calls. In all it was good.
